I can’t believe I found this video after so many years! I started this project but never completed it. All I could remember was the name Bob Wilson. Well, today is the day I can finally finish this beautiful scarf. 💜💜💜
I love the fact that you talk thru your videos and that you take your time explaning it to your viewer. I belive that is how you get your large followers. Keep it up and keep the videos coming.
Yes! This is awesome. It's the perfect item to crochet for my church is always in need of items like this to donate. Thank you Claire for teaching me to crochet.
Needed something a little different/funky for a friend. This is it. Going to get yarn as soon as the sun comes up! Love it and can't wait to try the border.
Thank you for the wonderful tutorial. This scarf is one of the prettiest that I have ever seen. I am off to buy the yarn so that I can begin. It is absolutely lovely!
I have to let you know how much I love your tutorials, your pace and instructions are just perfect. I have fallen in love with crocheting all over again, I can't tell you how much I look forward to learning a new pattern with you every day, Again Thank you, so much! With gratitude Brandee
I am finishing this shawl now and loving it. The edging is so easy yet looks so difficult. Thank you for the wonderful tutorial. I am trying to decide which to make next. Love your accent by the way.
I love your tutorials! They are so easy to understand and you work at a very good pace. This one was no exception and I could hardly tell you were nervous. Can't wait to try this pattern as a gift to my mom. Best wishes, Laurel
Done, I love it too! It's not hard at all, but looks detailed and complicated (to fool everyone, lol!) ... I love to watch pieces like this come together. Thx so much for the video!
This is a really great scarf! It looks good in solid or multi-colored yarn. I'm making one right now using Red Heart Yarn in the color "Carrot" for Fall. I think the next scarf I will try some of that yarn that has 4 or 5 different textures within the skein. Thanks for taking the time to make this great video!
I wrote a rather long note and the electricity went off! So, I will try again tomorrow! Let me say this, thank you for many considerate tutorials you have produced. Above all, I LOVE the birds. I am owned by parrots born in the USA living a too quiet life. If I could be in an area where I say a parrot in a backyard, I would think I died and gone to heaven! I don't take anything for granted!! You do not talk too much so stop apologizing for being alive!
REALLY LOVE THIS . . simple yet elegant.. going to do in a acrylic mohair with fine sequins, just off to Spotlight . . uh oh that means I will come home with some in every colour . . bad cat
I like the idea of blending the fancy Red Heart with supersaver for the fancy is hard on me pocket, unless got a coupon or catch on clearance...great idea
Thanks for the video, I had trouble decreasing so I just made to the same and crocheted them together in the middle. I had a question on how many stiches across were there in the middle where you made 16 rows all the same? This really looks pretty when using color changing yarn.
Hi Clare - love the scarf - great video as always. If its possible you might want to edit the url you gave for your website - without the 123, it leads to a religious site. Just one question ... I thought at the beginning the pattern called for 300g Unforgettable but I think you said you only needed one ball ?? I have some in my stash and I think I only have one ball. This would be an ideal project if that's all I need. Hope your Mum is doing ok. xox
G'day Darbelle and Kit Enterprises thank you for your comment, sorry about the confusion, because this pattern was so long ago I can not remember. 180 grams does not sound enough, so i would go with the 300 grams
Love it....thank you...but...the music is brilliant, is it one of the free UA-cam tunes, if so could you let me know which one or add a link please....it made me feel so happy :)...Ann...x
I made this one using lion brand shawl in a ball. I love RED heart unforgettable but can't find it in my area any more. The shawl in a ball worked ok but is not nearly as nice as unforgettable.
@@CrochetwithClare I'm in North Carolina USA. I jave ordered from Red Heart before but its more expensive than my Wal-Mart, which is the only place I have near me for yarn
Eu gosto, nas minhas horas mortas fazer crochet e ouvir muisica. Obrigado, pela ajuda dos vossos trabalhos. Bem haja pela vossa paciencia.m Um beijo para todas..

I am so digging on the single crochet chain 1 at the beginning of the row. How ingenious, well done!

Thank you always for al for all your tutorials. After I finish my chevrons cowl this will be my next scarf to make.
I love the single crochet chain one to go up. It looks so much neater and easier to know exactly where to put the stitch.

I am not sure where you are located but Red Heart does sell their yarn online as well.

I also had trouble following the edging.
I have a written pattern for the scarf here if that would help.

Unforgettable yarn size and weight
red heart unforgettable is considered a worsted weight yarn and the balls are 100g each. i think it feels more like a light worsted
