    Very Nice Mak. I have been practicing how to tie with the clear stretch ever since I saw you using that material.
    I kinda like it. Your Red Blood Worm turned out really Nice! Now I have to look for the red clear stretch. LOL!
    Thanks for sharing this video with us Mak.

    By the way where is a good place to get a Hungarian Partridge Skin with a lot of Nice Brown Feathers?
    Are the Natural Molted Gray or March Brown Feathers from the Whiting Brahma Hen Saddle like the Hungarian Partridge?

    • @Makflies
      @Makflies  5 років тому

      Thank you Kent, I am glad you like this Pattern, As for the Partridge Skin, I have been using only Brown Partridge, I normally buy mine from Veniard, or Lakeland , in UK, Brahma Hen Hackles are quite good for Soft Hackle :))

    • @kentw.897
      @kentw.897 5 років тому

      Makflies Thanks for that information Mak!
      I didn’t see any from Lakeland. Veniards has Gray English Partridge. The brown feathers come in a package. Is this the one you buy?
      🌴🦐🎣🐟

      @@kentw.897 I had full Skin but it's running out, there are other sites where you can buy , different Partridge, :)))

      @Makflies I see the Essential fly in the UK has Veniards English Grey Partridge brown feather packs. I wonder if they would work.
      The Hareline feather packs I bought are rubbish and the Hungarian Partridge skin I got doesn't have the Nice Brown Feathers that I'm looking for. You know like that ones you used to tie your Transparent Caddis Larvae. That's the kind I'm looking for. 😊
      When you buy stuff like this online you'll never know what you will be getting and they're expensive too, but I don't mind paying the price if I knew exactly what it's going to look like.
      If they're is anything else you can suggest please let me know.
      You Take Care. Aloha!🌴🦐🎣🐠

    Great work in your videos, thank you for making them. A question (or two) about the stretchy plastic -- do you find it holds up well against rocks and fish teeth, for example as well as tying thread does against these things? I noticed you coat the stretchy stuff (after tying it) in UV resin in some of your work -- how do you decide when to coat it and when to leave as-is? Thank you.

    • @Makflies
      @Makflies  4 роки тому +1

      Thank you J P, I am glad you like it, The elastic is strong enough, it all depend how many fish you are catching with it , as you know nothing last for ever, Now using the UV Resin it's all personal, you can use it or leave as it is, :)), both work fine :)))
