I really love this pedal. I was looking for a conventional lofi modulator, but what I received in the mail was so much more than what I asked. Didn't realize what I wanted till it arrived ;)
You still dig this pedal? I'm seriously considering pulling the trigger. I basically only want one modulation pedal-I'm not a huge fan of delay, in general, and find myself gravitating toward chorus, phase shifting, etc. But I like how this pedal has some delay in it, too.

Holy shit. I love it. It might be the answer to some of the (albeit few) shortcomings of the shallow water. What’s your overall assessment/feeling about it? I kinda fell in love with it by the end. Plus the art is killer.
what would you consider the shortcomings of the shallow water that this pedal remedies? i have neither but am considering both. i'm wondering if this one will have the same quality tone as the shallow water seems to have. i guess you can choose wave form on this one... did you get one/either? what are your thoughts?
Jamison Lee - Idk of you already made your purchase but the SW is a very subtle pedal, whereas the Woozy (which I just got) is very out there loud and proud. The addition of a delay really provides the “wildcard” aspect to this pedal too- only so much craziness can come from just modulation. The SW in my opinion likes a constant-flow of input like a synth or drone pedal or something because the effect is so subtle if you have something like a normal guitar signal going in and out, it can be barely perceptible. While the Woozy “can” sound like a subtle chorus or vibrato- that’s only about 20% of its sounds.
@@winstonsmith8236 Thanks. I did purchase (backordered) a SW on a Cyber Monday sale, but I'm still planning to get a hold of the Woozy and compare at some point. I've been researching/comparing the "random" modes of a lot of these pedals, and it doesn't always seem like they quite match up control-wise to the SW. For example, doesn't the Woozy allow random levels or random slopes, but not both? Its controls over the randomness seem like they are sort of either/or rather than comprehensive. I guess that stuff still mystifies me some, so I could be confusing some things, but it seems like the SW has a little more fine-tuning ability of the randomness. OTOH, randomness is it's only game, so I guess that's sort of to be expected.
Is the delay on the Woozy pretty special? Is it something that couldn't be achieved with a good delay pedal--like a DD-500 or something?

@Cameron Johnson I thought the same, but in some settings without delay it sounds less laggy...
So you’ll notice the delay time knob is turned up for the first riff. I wanted that to get the crunchy sound for a vibrato, and it almost made me play more “drunk” because of the lag. But with the delay time down you won’t notice any lag. It gets as short of a delay time as any other vibrato pedal, but also lets you stretch that time if you want

Haha, good eye! I actually own one, but have done videos with three of them. This black one was loaned to me to get the demo done by the launch date, then they sent me a purple one when they had more stock built. And then a couple weeks ago Woolly lent me a screen-printed one with a slight tweak to the circuit, which was in my recent video

Brad Ruhfel really well! I just posted a feature of this pedal where I used it on every track in a song. In the song I paired it with smallsound bigsound pretty years. And it sounded incredible!
It does work really well with dirt. you can get some awesome tape machine tones with this set to super warbly and a good fuzz

I keep coming back to this and kind of regret not just snagging one on the last release. How do you find the random waveform setting in comparison to the shallow water?
I’ve actually never played a Shallow Water (I gotta get one!) but I’d guess the waveform itself is the same. The big difference would be the LPG vs the tone knob on the Woozy

He should be making more soon! Other vibrato pedals definitely do similar things, but this has a really unique character to it
Does anyone know if this pedal has any latency issues? Similar to the Wardenclyffe?
It depends on how you set it. It has a delay knob, which will introduce a lag as you turn it up
What DSP is it based on? Anybody knows?
PT2399 delay chip, so no DSP

They are very different in my opinion. This is a little more wild and unpredictable, but worth it once you learn how to tame it. The Shallow Water is more of a tame vibrato with some interesting twists
