Great info as always, Tony. I'm surprised you didn't mention the DuraTech stubby flex-head ratcheting wrenches at 15% off. I have been very satisfied with the DuraTech ratcheting tools I have purchased so far for home shop use.
I bought some sunex 1/4" drive impact sockets but they are made in china rather than taiwan like every other previous sunex tools I purchased. Does any know anything about sunex selling chinese made stuff now? I'm hesitant to buy any sunex off scamazon now because I'd rather not have the chinese stuff. Thoughts?
Instead of the thin wrenches i bought the channellock slim jaw spanner, i believe kein makes one as well. The channellock ones are really nice for 20-40 bucks, the klein are 35-50.
Carbon steel is just fine for thin wrenches. Usually not high torque applications. Also thats why these are for diyers not being used and abused in a shop

Those Duratech super thin wrenches are made from carbon steel. Not chrome vanadium. No good. They will bend.
