A Simple Single Malt Pale Ale with Flex, Incognito, and Spectrum from BarthHaas X

After reading about advanced hop products from BarthHaas X I thought I'd throw together and review a simple pale ale using Flex for bittering, Incognito as a whirlpool addition, and Spectrum for a dry hop.
I was slightly skeptical going into this, but the results were super fresh and hoppy. Definitely something I'll be doing again.
The recipe is.....
5kg Maris Otter
5ml Flex for a 45 minute boil
1 packet of Incognito for a whirlpool
1 packet of spectrum for a dry hop.
Use whatever hop variety you like!

Great video as usual. I see all these new products coming out all the time and often wonder if breweries ever use real hops these days. No doubting how good the beers are but I feel like a dinosaur for still using T90's.

Very interesting. Hopefully as more people use them more companies will start making them and maybe get cheaper. Suppose could try to do it cheaper by buying a 5 litre bottle but would depend how much you want to brew with one variety of hop flavour.
