What's respectful to oneself, nature and all of life, is to not put alcohol in one's body. It's toxic, harmful and alters the mind and body in a negative way. It doesn't matter how it's made, how it's consumed, it's not a loving thing. Just because indigenous people have been making it, just because it's been made for hundreds of years, that doesn't make it sacred somehow. It's still booze. Choose sobriety.
