Thumbs up if you want a you can't quit me baby lesson.
Guido Dispinzieri dude please haha
I love how Andy plays cool stuff. Not just sitting there tapping or playing a thousand notes a second Malmsteen
I approve of this...
Is there any riff that Andy can't kill?!! awesome.
These lessons are pure GENIUS, Andy is such a good teacher and the song selection is perfect. Keep up the good work PGS!
one of my favorite QOTSA tunes! would love to see a 'no one knows' lessen, since theire are some cool riffs in it!
i'm totally in love with this series.
frustrating 90% of Queens licks are in C standard
Wouldn't thicker strings help?
halfrightface yeah but it's not the same, Josh uses thicker strings while in that tuning already
I bought the wrong strings once which effectively put me in C standard... and I never went back lol
That's why you get a secondary guitar and put it in C...you leave it in C, boom now you can play a ton more songs out there.
Try DR Blues Drop Down Tuning spiders.
11s or 12s. $6 a set at guitar center or on musiciansfriend dot com.
They hold normal tension on the neck that E standard strings hold but in lower pitches.
I have a dedicated C/D standard guitar with the strings I mentioned above after trying everything else first.
Spend $100 on a used fixed bridge electric guitar on Craigslist and slap the strings on.
Then change the pickups with many good $15 to $30 options of Japanese or Chinese on Amazon that have good ratings (several hundred 4 star and 5 star) and marvel at how good it sounds
lessons? Finally! Andy is the Mel Bay of Gen X. More Please!
PGS is doing good things. Innovation is a key to success!
I have this pedal. Beautiful crunchy fuzz in three modes. Perfect for Homme tones.
Thanks Andy, Super Helpful. Playing through my new JHS Muffuletta, which your side by side video helped me make up my mind to purchase. Very happy with it, btw.
Ohh so good! Can't wait for qotsa's new album!!!
Finally, good lessons on good songs, not going with the mainstream singles. Good to see some Rated R doing the tours. Great work Andy
I'm liking Riff of the Day. You get a lesson and suggestions on how to get particular tones
Thank you for taking the time and posting these. I really appreciate the free lesson by such a great guitar player
Swede or SuperSwede, just check their site. They have different les pauls, one have fender long scale, other shorter similiar to gibson or frequency filter instead of splitting pickus.
Andy!
-This karma project is great!
Give and you wil get...
LOVIN.
So cool to hear someone do a lesson for this. I read that andy is a fan of Josh Homme too. awesome
QOTSA !!!
I'm liking the Hagstrom.
I love that riff so much!

GRANDE ANDY!!!
Andy! you made my day!
This is so incredible that Andy is doing this. Please keep it as a regular segment! My request is Radiohead (any song!)
You have a lovely voice Andy...
Hey Andy, great job man love that you picked this song. one of my favorites to play along to. Question, what mic/mics did you use for this demo? Ordering the Pharaoh Fuzz tomorrow. Early B-day present for me. Thanks again for all the awesome demos.
Aw man! This is amazing! Great tone & nice playing.
Man the last couple of days, PGS and Andy have not been helping my serious fuzz pedal GAS I have been suffering from!
How in the name Jebus do you dislike these videos. Thanks for displaying the settings on the pedal Andy.
Definitely.
Awesome! How about some obscure Radiohead.
you listened!
It is my opinion that PGS should make a spinoff channel for lessons and keep this one demos.
ENCORE SUPER
My favourite QotSA song (pretty much the only one I like, Kyuss were way better) and just after you demonstrated my fave Black Keys song!
I feel like Andy must be a big qotsa fan
great lesson
you have to read the information, it's in C standard tunig
Nice one centurion....
You are Andy!!!!!!!! Hahaha I was wondering who was the guy behind the voice of all that videos that helped me to get a pro pedalboard. Greetings From Venezuela man. You are doing a really good job.
You should do "Little Sister" with the octave or "In The Fade".
PGS has good taste in music
The best thing would be to offer the backing track so people could get to try this at home!
This a great idea/series. How about a lesson on the Aerosmith Last Child you were jamming in the Gretsch G5438 demo?
god dammit andy, i got into a little accident the other day and tore off half of my nail on my left ring finger and i cant really play anymore because it hurts so damn bad. now you make me wanna play -__-
I'd love a full demo on the Hagstrom Super Swede by itself...I see they are out of stock in your store though...beautiful guitar.
Do some (cars) riffs!! please! You make them sound awesome!! as well as all you do!.
anyone got any chords from the chorus pattern because it's hard as hell for me to decipher what order he's picking them in
Loving the choices so far for the riff/lesson of the day!
Andy found my baeth ball!
Need to do 3s and 7s
genio, que pongas un tema de queens es lo mejor!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please Andy do "god is in the radio" with a good overdrive!!!!!!
On the record it sounds like the first note rings open imo.
It's a Hagstrom Super Swede, nice guitar!
can you please show us how to play another one bites the dust by queen?
i hella fucking addicted to that sound 0:23-0:27
Hey, is Andy actually using a pick in this video? It sure looks that way!
Are you taking requests?
Please help with the The Replacements' 'Answering Machine'
I saw the title and came.
Is the guitar hollow inside somehow? Or reverb...
Btw andy, playing in any "not totally unknown band" ?
How did you manage to get such sound?
So, 15/8 is basically 5/4 with triplets?
never knew it was in 15/8
15/8 is more like 5/4 with a triplet feel than like 3/4
cool :B
Hagstrom model ??
1:02 - Human after all...
SOUNDGARDEN.... Please do Soundgarden!
is josh cool bout u giving away his secrets? :P
Ummm, look at the tab for it, its about 2 notes repeated
Its 5x 3/4...
Looks like a Super Swede to me.
