- Your comments inspired this video. Many of you said that the desktop cannon would be a lot stronger if I did not drill out the fuse hole and used pistol powder instead, so I took your advice and used firework fuzes. After much searching, I was able to find some 777 pistol powder which I loaded in the new all stainless colored cannon. The original cannon with the black base was loaded with the original Pyrodex RS and original 2mm fuze. The large cannon was loaded with the Pyrodex RS and 2mm fuze for comparison. The results are interesting! Enjoy.
I was a little worried these might be too loud to use at work. Guess not!
You must work in a place that is used to loud noises. I have fired them in my back yard in a residential neighborhood and they are not too loud on Pyrodex rifle powder, but they are much louder with pistol powder. Would probably not try pistol powder at work.

Interesting. What's the maximum range for "minute of drink can" accuracy?
The big wheeled cannon can go close to 4 feet before you start getting frustrated trying to hit a Guiness can because of lateral error. The cannon has a small screw under the breech which allows you to adjust the elevation also which you have to play with at different ranges, but the BB does not drop much in 4 feet.
