I've learned a lot with this video. So very much to learn. My husband was inspired his self by this video. He wanted me to see if I could go to an actual class and do these projects...lol! I thought of how inspiring he was by watching this video with me. Thank you Jennifer for making these video's. It's helped me so so very much!

I learned so much from this video. I have decided that you will be that person whom I will primarily follow for my projects. You videos are so informative and user friendly. I had already subscribed to your channel but just hit the notification bell so I can stay on top of upcoming classes and new projects. Thank you so much!!

Thank you so much for sharing your wealth of information about all the things. I'm new to all of this, trying to make time in my life for a hobby and don't have time to learn by making multiple mistakes. I'm making my way through every single one of your videos. You are so welcome!
This was really great! Even though I can't sublimate right now I learned a lot for when I can. The two tips that really help are do not use Teflon sheets when sublimating and only use the blue heat tape for sublimation.
Thank you very much!
Thank you! I have just found your wonderful Videos. I hate I missed your maker academy event. I am brand NEW with sublimation. Just purchased printer and heat press. Looking forward to creating new items. Thanks I have learned so much from you already.

Do it! See you from Spain❤
Awesome!
you are amazing! thank you
Thanks so much!
YOU ARE SO AWESOME!! I KNOW IF I HAVE AN ISSUE , I CAN LOOK INTO ONE OF YOUR VIDEOS.
aww that's so sweet! I'm glad you find my videos helpful🥰
Excellent video! Thank you! Do ICC profiles work on printing from all programs?
An ICC printer profile is specific to one certain printer, one type of paper, one inkset and, even, to one print resolution and media setting.
I've just been online shopping for the pens, and it looks like they dry out very quickly, before even being used. Have you had this problem, and if not, how did you store them, so they wouldn't dry out? I'm just starting this video, so I will probably have more questions, as I go along. I REALLY appreciate all the things you have taught me, so far.
Here is a tutorial on storing pens. jennifermaker.com/cricut-writing-tutorial-tips-tricks-fonts/ jennifermaker.com/cricut-infusible-ink/
Greetings from New Zealand again.

Hello there!
Where There is a will m, there is a way. I liked that.
Thanks for doing a planning event so I could see examples of what we are making. I am just starting. I am excited
Have fun!
Hi Jennifer, thank you so much for all the information- lifesaver! But please could I ask - how do I make the colours vibrant/pop? I'm doing this onto a white t-shirt. Thank you 😊 x
Here is a tutorial that may help. jennifermaker.com/sublimation-color-problems/
Great Tutorials. 💜💜💜AuntieEllen
Thank you! Cheers!
You are awesome!
You too!!
Just got my ticket!
Yay! 😃
I can attest to the fact Epson Ecotanks MUST be printed on every 3 days or you end up with clogged heads; then you have to buy a cleaning kit, disassemble you printer, and use a syringe and rubber tubing to meticulously clean each head.
You could be very right on this. We run it 2'xs a week at the studio.
Whats happens if u go on holiday
@@mmljzta6 Get someone to babysit it i guess 😅. I will never buy anything Epson again due to this problem
I am having the hardest time sublimating on Libby glass jars. They are so faint.
I have a press and use a sawgrass500. 😢. Love your channel BTW!!!!❤
Thank you! jennifermaker.com/sublimating-on-glass/
Do you recommend sublimation spray for prepping the fabric before transferring and If so at which point do you add it , before or after prepping the fabric?
Sublimation spray is only for sublimating on cotton. You would need to follow the instructions for your specifc spray🥰
thank you
My pleasure!
Hi Jennifer, thank you for your video. Can I use a sublimation printer for other projects like printing stickers or decals?
You can print on sublimation paper and sublimate it on sublimation sticker paper.
Oh no! I missed the Maker Academy Workshop! Will you be doing another one?
You can get the VIP pass. makeracademy.com/weekend-vip-all-access-pass/ I also have Merry Maker Mingle in December. You can sign up here. makeracademy.com/merry-maker-mingle-2022/

Hello there! 😊🌻
IM LOOKING TO BUY ONE
Hi from Delaware❤
Welcome!! 😊🌻
Good evening, Jennifer in your tutorial I heard you mention adding polyester to a mug? Ca you add a coating of polyester to your mugs for sublimation?
Not for a mug, no, I'm sorry

Hello!
Hi, from Florida
Hello there! 😊🌻
Can I use untreated unbleached brown butcher paper? Love your videos!
It should be white and unwaxed. You can use kraft paper.
I love all your information, I'm wondering....I always put butcher paper over my sublimation design, is it ok to have a teflon sheet on the upper heat panel as well, or is it best not to? I currently have a teflon sheet on mine and didn't have a problem with the shirt I created. Trying to avoid any future issies.
If it works I say use it.
Thank you mam
Most welcome 😊
Hi Jennifer, I was wondering when talking about waste, if your ink is due to expire can you print lots of prints and use them at a later date or must you print and use straight away
yes you can just keep them dust free until you are ready to press them🥰
Hi, I am just a crafter. Advice please.
what would you suggest for a wide format printer? Not workforce.
Also, wide cutter? I already have a Cricut Maker 3. I don't like to do the connection for bigger image. It looks bad on press.
I hope you would emphasize to press on bigger image at Maker Academy weekend please .thanks
I have not tested any other printer besides these. jennifermaker.com/best-sublimation-printer/
Great video! thank you Jennifer! I do have a question to the group, is butcher paper the same as parchment paper? Can I use parchment paper instead of butcher paper? TIA :)
They're not the same. Parchment has a silicone coating that traps moisture, while butcher paper does not.
a local store is selling t-shirts made with recycled plastic can you sublimate on them thanks Jennifer for your valuable lessons
I have not tried that. It is worth a try!
@jennifer what do you find after using some of the printers that are out there to be the best for sublimation? i saw your video from all the printers but if i dont care about the money what would be you goto? thanks for the vids!
I prefer my Sawgrass
Hi, Jennifer,
Does the EcoTank have support after you convert it to sublimation? Can it have extended warranty? Thank you for your help. It’s taking me awhile to decide on a printer and I want to take advantage of the Black Friday sales.
No, once you convert it to sublimation it looses it's warranty.
Jennifer if I buy the Epson sublimation printer can I use it for everyday printing too or can I not use it for both . Also I had bought the lifetime membership for maker academy but it isn't coming up in my list of everything I bought from you
Once you turn it into a sublimation printer it is only used for that. Please send an email to my team at vip@jennifermaker.com for help with Maker Academy. It should be in your teachable account.
Is white glitter vinyl the only vinyl we can sublimate to? What brand do you think works best?
Here is a tutorial with different methods. jennifermaker.com/sublimation-t-shirt/
Hi all, from Kent in England
Hi Diana! Thanks for watching! 💗
The poster board i have is a large trifold. I'm not sure what size laminate comes in but is it possible to put several sheets of laminate on either a poster board or foam board and then sublimate?
I'm not sure, we haven't tried that. 😊🌻
I have a WF-7720. It was very simple to convert to sublimation. But I do want an ecotank. I hear those are better.
The do a good job!🥰
Yesterday at Sam's just purchased Epson ecotank ET 2850 for $199.00 on sale!
Yay! 💗
I signed up for VIP last year 2021 Christmas mingle academy. Can I still access to that? I don't have time to go through yet.
I love all your classes. Thank you
Yes, you have lifetime access to it in your Teachable account. If you need assistance you can email us at vip@jennifermaker.com.
Have you tried the Forever Subli-Light paper for the Sawgrass SG500 on cotton T-shirts? I have a design that uses a high saturation of the ink, and after pressing it with my heatpress, the design will not adhere in certain areas. I've ruined countless shirts and use them for testing purposes. I've tried different heat settings and feel that I am getting closer, but still not there.
I have not tried that.
In Australia looking forward to weekend but how does it work as I can't watch live as middle of night for me?
Each workshop and live presentation is totally free to watch for 24 hours starting the day and time it is set to air. Do you prepress even things like ceramic ornaments?
No
HI from Wisconsin
Hello!
just got to watch this...in the F170 do you use the epson ink or some other and type of paper? I read somewhere you should only use epson
Here is a tutorial for you. jennifermaker.com/epson-surecolor-setup/
Hey Jennifer
Hello! Thank you for watching! 😊🌻
Hi from Australia
Hello!
Do you leave your printers on 24/7 or do you turn them off when not in use? I turn mine off when I go to bed and turn it back on in the morning, but I’ve been reading that printers should be left on always, so I’m curious what you do? Thanks
I leave mine on. They go idle when not in use🥰
Jennifer I am not sure when this video was done I am just starting and would like to know more about sublimation printing. Could you help me.
There are a number of blog posts on sublimation. Here is a guide for you. jennifermaker.com/sublimation-for-beginners/
I have been using heat, transfer clear vinyl on cotton shirts, and sublimating over that. They turn out beautiful, but they start to bleed after washing them. Any suggestions? Is there any sort of spray to seal it in before washing?
My suggestion would be to wash cold and hang to dry. 😊🌻
Hello dear Jennifer, what we can do part of design with white color not change to yellow . Thank you
Check to ensure that your press isn't too hot. If the fabric scorches, use a few tbsp of hydrogen peroxide in the laundry, it should remove the yellow 😊🌻
