@@MSFS-SDK-TUTORIALS What about linking the door open and close to a Simvar. Then you can link it to keyboard action as if you were using a remote control to open and close. This action could be good for a security gate at a military airfield. Some fields have gates over a taxiway.
@@FritzWeinrebe Hi Fritz, I have another hangar animation tutorial where you can open the door by hiding the yoke or swithcing the landing light,
infact I think that solution is more realistic
I don't know if it is possible to link the anim to any simvar (pretty sure it is not possible, because only some airplane simvars interact with scenery simbojects)
ciao Federico, bella la cosa di aprire le porte dell'angar automaticamente, ma come sai ho osato di più e sono andato un po in giro con l'auto fuori dagli aeroporti (indovina dove), purtroppo manca la retromarcia, sulle strade, molte non essendo in piano sono quasi impraticabili e pieni di dislivelli del terreno che diventano muri. Se passi su un ponte, l'auto cade di sotto, poi se vai nelle città é come passare in mezzo alle foreste anche mettendo la vegetazione al minimo... peccato perché l'idea di andare con l'auto sulle strade invece di volare con l'aereo ti fa apprezzare ed esplorare meglio i paesaggi, magari anche con qualche fuoristrada

E gli alberi sulle strade si possono eliminare...

Thank you for the demo and information on the script Federico! I was able to adapt your work on one of my hangars and it works well. I’ve offset the rectangle area to match the parking ramp in front of the hangar and that works well too. Only issue I have is there’s about a 50% chance my hangar spawns about 15 feet in the air. I’m having difficulty figuring out what the issue is. Any ideas?
