Does that guy look like an elf? Unequivocally, no.
This well done presentation of actual Elder Scrolls lore proves that the Dwemer are not Elves.
The dwemer neck beard
Eating doritos and drinking mountain dew since 1st era
Those cut lines from Morrowind only exacerbate his supreme gentlemanlyness.
The neckbeard god
@@Ebsalom He sounds like that nerd fish from Spongebob that tried to scam the Krusty Krab by hiding pickles under his tongue.
@@Scream_Lord
Ah, Bubble Bass.
And Bagarn's got the mass to match him, too.
So many people assuming that Yagrum is just what all dwarves must have looked like, that doesn't even make sense! The thicc lad had Corpus :/
i dont think alot of people played morrowind here
You literally meet a snow elf in skyrim??
@@turbo682 Bruh. What. Yagrum is a dwemer, the last one known. where as the knight and vampire you meet in skyrim are possibly the last two snow elves.
@@turbo682 What has this to do with that? Snow elves aren't dwemers.
@@turbo682 yes. my body transformed and i entered the game them made it out again. i won't tell you how though.
Go bake some garlic bread my friend. It cures all diseases and restores 1 point of health as well
God when he screams No! It sounds like his mum threw out his crusted waifu pillow case.
I have a character on Skyrim that is a clone of Yagrum, made by Divath Fyr. He has the genetic Dwemer intelligence, but a lot of Dunmer / Telvanni culture. He served as an apprentice to Divath for 100s years.
He is on a expedition to Skyrim to search for Dwemer culture, artifacts and answers. He aims to re-establish a dwemer culture somehow.
It's a really fun Roleplay using mods on PS4.
I want an Elder scrolls game that shows the age of, return of, or even the fall of the Dwemer. Just anything with them involved in the story
Same Dwemer are fascinating
unfortunately i doubt we'll see the return of the dwemer. Tod Howard has said before that their disappearance will always be a secret. But we can hope
He sounds like Bubblebass from spongebob lol
after the new dlc in eso came out, the new theory is that the dwarves aren't actually dead, but they are stuck in a space time continuum in different points of time. This was theorized when you speak to cosma in black reach in eso and he states he is from the future and came to save black reach from a certain mechanism which i believe is the giant light in the ceiling and when u help him u see different biomes in black reach and different creatures because they were all teleported into black reach due to the mechanism. After u go to help him your 2 friends that were with u get teleported to different points in time and one of them even states he saw the eruption of red mountain in the 4th era, mind u eso is based on the 2nd era. and after they teleported back and u saved the day cosma then says he has to return to his future. Which means the dwemer aren;t actually dead but they are actually able to either time travel or they're stuck in different points of time future and past.
If Divayth Fyr made clones of himself from dna could he not use Yagrum Bagarn's dna to recreate the Dwemer race?
Why didn't I think of that. That would be a pretty cool idea
But why would he though, it wouldn't benefit a Telvanni wizard in the slightest.
I think it could benefit the Telvanni because they would be known as the ones who brought the Dwemer back to Tamriel, which since the Dwemer were such a glorious race, if a Telvanni revived them in my opinion it would bring fame to the house and perhaps even power.
@@0code.sibriex357 Reviving the Dwemer is a bad idea. The Dwemer were the biggest assholes alive.
The Dark Elves literally fought a war of extermination with them. Bringing them back is s very bad idea
@White knight why would they punish them though? My understanding is that Divayth Fyr is part of the Telvanni only because of convenience rather than affiliation, he is after all 5000 yrs old, but even then the Telvanni wouldn't give a flying shit (intentional pun) about slavery or crimes done in the name of scientific research which was likely what the Dwemer did to the Falmer, eugenic experiments. My guess is that Divayth was pretty private, and long past the point where he'd be interested in stirring things up outside his bedroom therefore he thought to himself, "Nah, way too much trouble, I'm a hermit for a fucking reason."
lol Lord Fyr would have definitely survived the the Red Year.
He's probably just chilling out in some tower off in some remote area drinking flin and shaking his head at the rest of the world.
He's way too old and powerful for a mere exploding island to do him in.
@@ghengisbobber
Eso is before all these games mate
Urgot? Is that you!?! Dear god what happened to you?!?
Yo check this out
The dwemers, we're banished to earth, to the fallout universe were they found out it was not possible to use their technology because in this realm magic is impossible
And their tech is practically useless without magic
The physics of the fabric of the universe were different
So they had no way back
And without their grand inventor they were stuck there
Until they forgot were they came from and got taller
I know it's rather weak of a theory but it would explain ninroot beeing in both universes
are you saying that the dwarves are early humans?
He actually looks like the fat vampire Pearl in Blade that works behind the scenes for Frost.
Haha I thought that too the first time I found him in morrowind
I think it’s possible that working the heart actually worked and that the dwemer ascended somehow
He's thicc
lol
That name haha
I can’t remember where I read it, it may have been on reddit (ha, that rhymes, anyways,) there’s a great theory about how the Dwemer became the skin of the Nimidium. Always felt like that was the best explanation to date honestly, and it would make a lot of sense on multiple levels.
They are in other realms of oblivion and went to the future. I am almost 100 percent certain of that
Let’s be honest. The real killer of the Dwemer were the stone beds. That’s probably why they enslaved the snow elves, since their backs were killing them.
I agree. The dwemer were going insane. They wanted to use the heart of lorkahn to find out how to make beds and get some sleep
My theory goes the dwemer were cursed with super high intelligence but the lack of being able to make beds or ever get good sleep. Maybe by a daedra
He sounds like King Kai had a concussion
Hey Imp could you with all your lore knowledge tell me how exactly soul gems are made or mined or found or where they come from?
The soul cairn is where they come from in one of the skyrim dlcs you can go to the place they come from my question is how they get out
@@revan3675 Ah I never heard anyone say that's where they come of though. Granted it would be reasonable that they do but it's never shown how they grow or are made or where the invisible sphincter that poops these crystals like things into Mundus.
@@revan3675 pretty sure the soul cairn is for the spirits of people whose souls were consumed by a soul gem.
They can be mined in the blackreach
His voice Reminds me of the preist from princess bride
Hahaha! I love that movie, was on tv the other day
This same thing happened to the mage at the college of Winterhold, but on a soul gem instead of the heart.
I wander what happened to half-dwemer?
The y died and bred and become a fourth deemed then a 5th etc etc.
Half races aren’t really a thing in Eder scrolls, the child is always the race of the mother but you have traits of father. So anyone with a dwarven father wouldn’t have disappeared.
There’s actually an orc in oblivion who has white skin since his dad is an imperial.
Zach oh yeah the grey prince, that guy was cool
@@95Bartlett I thought his skin was white because his dad was a vampire
You are a humorless bastard, you know that?

What if the dwemer just started living underwater and stopped going near people?
Hahahahaha.... But for real they Lovis unser ground Most Times and stuff + with they tech and Shit they May ne able to build underwater Citys or Just Citys Underground of Ozean ground or Shit
What if... Yagrum... IS kagranac? Like you say, dementia.
Urgot...
PS: hello there! Its been months since I watched your videos
I smel it with my feet this person is Dutch
I genuinly think the dwemer gor flung foward in time and will appear kinda like alduin
I doubt Bethesda will have them return. It's better to have them be mysterious than to reveal all the answers about them, in my opinion.
That or they were all connected to Kagrenac whilst he worked the heart and tried to achieve CHIM but their logic based minds couldn't handle the objective reality that they didn't actually exist so they all zero summed.
@@MrHogGamer They can return them with a bang, tens of thousands of disgruntled dwemer waging war on the dunmer and skyrim with their advanced technology, what else they used apart of their war machines is unknown so bethesda pretty much has free reign on how to handle them.
anyways im hyped for ES6

If TES VI is set in Hammerfell, it'd be nice to wander into the depths of a massive Dwemer ruin and find Divayth and Yagrum (cured of negative effects of corprus) set up in a makeshift research station, investigating Dwemer technology. Perhaps with a small questline that sends the player to multiple Dwemer ruins in a sort of Indiana Jones adventure/investigation. Perhaps unveiling a lot of juicy lore on Clan Rourken.
its in high rock
What did you call me?
Man if this guy survived in oblivion , i wonder if other dwemer survived the same way , i mean some of them must been in other dimensions too
Off topic question but perhaps you are more enlightened on the subject than I am. Do you know exactly what happened to the Tribunal after the events of Morrowind?
Where did they go, where are they now, and if still present would they command any authority despite losing their divine power?
Almalexia killed sotha sil and than nerevarine killed almalexia vivec dissapeared between oblivion and skyrim
Sotha Sil might still live on in the Clockwork City. Some fans speculate he "uploaded" himself into the City, for lack of better terminology. The Nerevarine kills Almalexia in the Tribunal DLC. Vivec is the main question mark. No one really knows what happened to him, but I suspect this is intentionally vague to make up for player freedom in TES III. You can kill Vivec if you want to, and so Bethesda needs to keep the lore open enough for people who did and people who didn't kill him. So officially, he just kind of vanished. No one knows what happened. Here's an excerpt from UESP:
"No one really knows Vivec's fate, though some have gone so far as to claim that he was 'taken' by the Daedra during the Oblivion Crisis, and others that he was killed by the Nerevarine."
Molag Balls probably getting back at Vivec for ripping his schlong off
Did he not think to ask vivec someone who he might recognize from that time
I wonder what the bet was, feel like I'm slightly late to this.
I mean you could see it as a blessing but then again the dwemer could have ascended to a higher form
Student bet channel link not working

I honestly doubt it, to be honest. That would ruin the Dwemer in my opinion.
@@VelociraptorsOfSkyrim Only if they try to remove too much of the Dwemer's mysteriousness. I think they could still include Yagrum and delve into some Dwemer lore without ruining it.
It'd be nice to wander into the depths of a massive Dwemer ruin and find Divayth and Yagrum (cured of negative effects of corprus) set up in a makeshift research station, investigating Dwemer technology. Perhaps with a small questline that sends the player to multiple Dwemer ruins in a sort of Indiana Jones adventure/investigation. Perhaps unveiling a lot of juicy lore on Clan Rourken, why they splintered off of mainstream Dwemer culture, and what made them unique. But I don't want anything on the Dwemer's disappearance, or tonal architecture. I think we have just enough of that to be properly mysterious.
What was the bet
Well fuck my eso toon I guess
Urgot?
The dwemer used a stone that turn them immortal, once the original ancestor of dark elves discover this, they used the stone for themselves and the dwemer where destroy by the stone. Then a dwemer worship god who was one to give the dwemer the stone discovered this, he turn the original dark elves ancestor into what they are now dark elves with black skin and red eyes.

Princess Tinkle Panties wait if they’ve only played Skyrim the main quest literally deals with the first dragon war. You literally view back in time to watch the fight. It’s talked about often. Are you just bitter? Are you looking for points for playing more than TES5? Genuinely curious.

Your OC would have to be half Dwemer and half human or other elf. Yagrum is the *last* Dwemer and he could have had half breed children before he lost his legs, but that's like Palpatine scoring with someone and creating Rey.
@@toddhoward85 Why would it have to be half breed? h says he last he may call himself the last dwarf but he isn't sure thats true.

Urgot? What are you doing in the Elder scrolls?
I can’t imagine the Dwemer lost any fights so I’m assuming they died from disease? Or what? I love the Dwemer ruins in the game but I’ve always been curious
I bet you'll make another video. If you do it you have to make a lore video about the elderscrolls series
It's been my hypothesis for a while that the disappearance of the Dwemer is the result of Kagrenac and the other Dwemer engineers unintentionally making their race aware of the truth of the ES universe by manipulating the Heart of Lorkhan. This put all Dwemer on the same plane in a state to experience CHIM, but because they weren't ready for it, and because Dwemer society is built on logic and reason instead of more abstract concepts, they weren't ready to embrace the truth that all that is of existence is merely the dream of the Godhead. Since they got there artificially instead of through long study and contemplation, they couldn't maintain their ego in the face of the knowledge of their unreality, and they all collectively zero-summed, erasing them from reality.
This hypothesis is bolstered by the fact that there's a quest in Skyrim where a scholar asks you to help him reach and operate a Dwemer machine that uses an Elder Scroll (a manifestation of the "programming" of reality) as its core; when the scholar activates the device... he vanishes, but thankfully only he does. As such, it's possible that the same effect that befell the Dwemer happened to the scholar, but because the artifact used was of a lower power level, the scope was reduced.
Imagine losing a bet go one of your own students 😂🤦♂️😂
