- Ronnie O’Neal is accused of killing nearly his whole family back in 2018. He is also accused of trying to kill his son, who barely survived the attack and is scheduled to testify.
The Riverview man is facing two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. He has elected to represent himself in his own murder trial, which means he’ll be able to cross-examine his son, who was 8 years old at the time of the murder.
O'Neal is accused of attacking his family, murdering his girlfriend, Kenyatta Barron, and their daughter, 9-year-old Ron’Niveya.

He doesnt have enough life experience to know what he is doing right now, he's still a kid and not fully developed yet mentally. He actually does say, some good stuff, but also a lot of phoney sounding stuff, like added shots until the wall. Plus he says she was trying to kill him and was abusive in the past, like he was protecting himself, i guess thats what he is trying to refer to; he pretty much just said he was guilty
He also said his kids have mental development problems and he probably has it too, it was passed down. Because he doesnt understand what he is doing now, its kind of sad, i feel sorry for this dude, because he will realize how it actually got him locked up and not the other way around, a free man.
