Without a doubt this is the best Friday Nights yet! I think I've said that ten times now, but it has been true each time! Also, Cam was hilarious as always.
Paul Allen Don't you know Friday Nights is a reality show and this is just them in real life.... *rolls eyes* Oh, and Cam is definitely the best character.
Well. That escalated quickly. And then later, very slowly. Awesome episode. I laughed so hard at all the impossible costume/prop changes happening with each cut.
This is definitely the best episode by far...it keeps getting better and better...Wizards if you're smart you'll keep them around for a very long time. I definitely think they are money well spent for your business.
As a mere watched of magic videos they make just for their personalities who knows nothing much about magic.. where 90% jokes about magic go over my head lol. Beej and his commentary was the one thing I actually understand and is VERY relatable 😂😂❤️
I feel like people who haven't played MTGO with others around won't appreciate this episode as much as those who have. For me personally I really like it. I have played with all of those people in many different forms over the years.
So something funny I found out today, the gatherer.wizards page for hornets nest has the judge rulings, i.e. "Hornet Nest’s triggered ability will trigger even if it’s dealt lethal damage. For example, if it’s dealt 7 damage, its ability will trigger and you’ll put seven Insect creature tokens onto the battlefield." That ruling was also posted two days after this video's release on UA-cam. Coincidence?
It's always amusing to bring Hornet's Nest out late game and have some big bruiser swing at you, unaware of the devestation he just unwittingly unleashed upon himself.
Looking back this skit is personal for me because I too was sick for M15 prerelease. I was a freshman in high school and I remember that next Monday my buddy gave me a foil Avacyn he had cracked.
If you try to pay attention to what's happening ingame, you'll see that Graham and Cam are having some really intense M15 games. Hunt the Weak on Hornet's Nest and Ensoul Artifact on Ornithopter are some of the coolest things you can do in that format.
The girl in this video reminds me of the girl who topped in my pre-release, she sounds exactly the same lol. She played really well. I got 2nd :) I was pretty happy with that.
Couple days till Theros beyond death pre release is here and my cough and ache has gotten progressively worse. If I end up like him I'm gonna be really upset :(
Beej's delivery on the "It's gonna hit the table...IT'S GOOD! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-I was told to stand here!" was golden.
Without a doubt this is the best Friday Nights yet! I think I've said that ten times now, but it has been true each time! Also, Cam was hilarious as always.
gp bound is better
The best ones are the ones without Cam. Seriously, I can't stand that guy and really hope that he is an act and not based on his actual personality.
Paul Allen Don't you know Friday Nights is a reality show and this is just them in real life.... *rolls eyes* Oh, and Cam is definitely the best character.
As I said. I hope its just an act and not based on his actual character. Besides anyone who plays blue sucks at life.
cams the best
Taps two cards
texts "I concede"
I see what you did there ;D
What?
@@lucienwan5232 The name of one of their Magic shows is called Tap Tap Concede.
It took me soooo many views to get that! To be fair I some of those were before I knew of or listened to the podcast. Well played, LRR.
Only just noticed that Cam also taps two lands and then concedes!
I find all Cam's packs hilarious, especially because he went 1-4 at the actual prerelease. Yes, I was there. I remember it.
WE CAN PRETEND SHUTTUP :(
Graham pretty much did as well at the real prerelease as he did at the prerelease in this too. Don't worry, you beat one person!
Adrian Byrne I take it you're the one that lost to Cam
Nope I never played him. I played Graham and kinda destroyed him
You and three other people :P
I love how James suddenly switches into his judge uniform
"I was told to stand here" got me....
I love that in the Stinger, Graham did a literal “tap, tap, concede.”
Oh, the Unhelpful Jerks sign. We'll miss you.
That was a beautiful high five shuffle fake-out.
0:36 That escalated VERY quickly.
Still laughing at f6 and cam's victory jacket... Alex and Cam are my kind of humor!
Deaven Binion The F6 got me so hard
0:04-0:13 My new ringtone.
Including the coughing at the end?
Yes. That's the best part!
TheManaSource my new ringtone too
show me how. i need this as my ringtone. NEED.
I need this also!
"I have seen this meme! Captain Picard" just great
Well. That escalated quickly. And then later, very slowly.
Awesome episode. I laughed so hard at all the impossible costume/prop changes happening with each cut.
i can't get enough of this series
who'da thunk that a video from 2014 could so worryingly predict the core21 prerelease experience?
There are a few mute and deaf guys at my lgs, they do just fine.
"I was told to stand here!" XD The way he delivered that line...it cracks me up every time! XD
So good, love the Friday Nights series.
One thing I really appreciate is excellent dialogue, with Gram's absence of any it speaks highly both to their story telling and to his acting.
This is pure gold. Very well done!
An mtg players nightmare:
Missing the prerelease
this happened to me, it was bad
lol I've played Magic for 4 years and yet never been to a pre release
thegoldbarracuda prereleases are so much fun! you should give it a go =).
Maybe
thegoldbarracuda do it!!!
Binging Friday Nights in Quarantine…Graham coming in coughing was unsettling.
"GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAA- I was told to stand here."
Theses keep getting better and better
One of the best cold opens of all time
This is definitely the best episode by far...it keeps getting better and better...Wizards if you're smart you'll keep them around for a very long time. I definitely think they are money well spent for your business.
And the intro skit even more relevant now...
The facial acting from Graham at James' costume change is fantastic.
Literally just here to comment BEEEEEEEEJ - love rewatching this and seeing all the people that I know from years of videos!
WHY CAN I ONLY LIKE A VIDEO ONCE ?! THIS IS CRIMINAL.
Quite possibly the best Friday Nights in a while. Well done LRR.
the death stare shuffle. insidious but precise.
I just love them to pieces, I want to hug them all forever
I'm glad you guys are having fun breaking shot continuity :D
this is like the best Friday nights in a while! love the unhelpful jerks sign xD
Awesome series! Awesome new episode! Can't get enough! We demand more episodes more frequently! :D
As a mere watched of magic videos they make just for their personalities who knows nothing much about magic.. where 90% jokes about magic go over my head lol.
Beej and his commentary was the one thing I actually understand and is VERY relatable 😂😂❤️
I went to the BFZ prerelease with bronchitis just to get my packs. Pulled a Misty Rainforest expedition. Totally worth being sick an extra four days.
sweet playmat~! one of my favs
That cold open has a real different vibe to it 7 years later
I was looking forward to this prerelease so much - and then the exact same thing happened to me like it did to Graham here. :D
Finally another Friday nights! "We are not making that play" LOL, Have seen that before!
We need more Friday Nights!! gimme gimme gimme!
I love these guys!
Whilst not a MTG fan, think I only ever played one game at my local games emporium, I love Beej's child like wonder at describing the game play.
anyone here after the sickness has gotten down ?
i love that graham just speedran getting sick at the beginning
great episode as always.
P.Diddy Cameron is the best Planeswalker.
LOL this is one of the most funny episodes yet. WTG LRR!
I love this too much
I feel like people who haven't played MTGO with others around won't appreciate this episode as much as those who have. For me personally I really like it. I have played with all of those people in many different forms over the years.
At the end ttc refrence. Tap tap concede.
ooh I didn't get that. Good catch!
So something funny I found out today, the gatherer.wizards page for hornets nest has the judge rulings, i.e. "Hornet Nest’s triggered ability will trigger even if it’s dealt lethal damage. Yay, new Friday nights is up
OK so, I always pause to read the fake cards at the start, and I'm wondering why Alex's cards are always so playable.
Great episode!
Another great one. GJ
Cam predicted the ensoul deck a full year before it came into fruition. GG.
I could not go to the prerelease either Graham, I feel your pain.
I couldn't stop laughing at the start of that video haha, love it.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL
“I was told to stand here!” XD 😂😂😂
2020 be like: hello there
Looking back this skit is personal for me because I too was sick for M15 prerelease. I was a freshman in high school and I remember that next Monday my buddy gave me a foil Avacyn he had cracked.
"I was told to stand here" Jokes on you, how could graham tell him that when he cant speak?
If you try to pay attention to what's happening ingame, you'll see that Graham and Cam are having some really intense M15 games. Hunt the Weak on Hornet's Nest and Ensoul Artifact on Ornithopter are some of the coolest things you can do in that format.
Yayyyyy!!!! Best song ever.
you guys crack me up
that was awesome !
6:15 Graaam...that was cold, bro
Hate to say it, but this is EXACTLY what happened to me the week before Senior Project presentation back in High School
That high five rejection XD
The third guy is like most of my friends
the beej is amazing in this episode
Beej is such a loveable guy... I dunno what it is but he's like a teddy bear.
Graham tapped the two lands at the end for tap tap concede.
The girl in this video reminds me of the girl who topped in my pre-release, she sounds exactly the same lol. She played really well. I got 2nd :) I was pretty happy with that.
Who is this new guy he is incredible. You must put him in more.
Their personalized cards are funnier than the Un-sets.
Why does the graham planeswalker card say to export a video in 1080p when this video is only available up to 720?
He never used that ability on this one I'd say
He decided to plus instead.
Hits different in these times which are trying
I just realized why the swamp was important to the end XD
The part with Beej absolutely kills me
I died at 0:36 from laughter. His expression was hilarious.
hornets nest/hunt the weak was my favourite combo in my pre-release
When Guilds of Ravnica came out all I could think of was Graham's song, lmao
Couple days till Theros beyond death pre release is here and my cough and ache has gotten progressively worse. If I end up like him I'm gonna be really upset :(
LRR now sponsored by Primo Soup and Halls
I hoped Beej would eventually turn up in an episode someday trying to play despite not knowing anything about Magic.
Awesome!
the first 40 seconds were hilarious :')
These are the best why did they stop?
There have been some difficulties with filming for the last 17 or so months; no idea why. They say they're planning to make more when they can.
Totally pulled that Soul of Zendikar when choosing Black; then, proceeded to clean house with GB Deck.
Love the intro! Make lots more vids!
I was told to stand here.
GOOOOOOODD
GOOOOOOAAAAAAAL!!!!!!
Just as Cameron says can you hear that my neighbours car alarm went off! Spooky!
