Yuma Kagiyama’s step sequence side by side with himself!

- When I went up to Yuma at the end of our training session and asked if he could skate his step sequence with me, I was kind of nervous because Yuma is very focused with his practices and I thought he might of wanted to end his training that way instead of playing around with random stuff like this. I also definitely don't think many skaters go up to their favorite skater and ask them to let themselves copy them. But Yuma was like "Sure!" even like "Of course!" and we just simply did his step sequence together. I didn't skate the sequence as refined as I had in practice (never as good as Yuma does anyway), but I did my best to keep up with his timing and energy he puts into his steps. How astonishing it is to see a real life example right in front of you! Yuma is such a nice skater and I had so much fun with him, and I'm so happy we got this on video because I'll treasure this video. I'm happy I get to share this with you.

鍵山優真選手のステップシークエンスを彼自身と一緒にやりました
練習の終わりに一緒にステップシークエンスをやってもらえるかを聞きに行くとき、正直ちょっと緊張しました。優真くんは練習に凄まじいほどの集中を費やしているので、練習の最後にこんな遊びみたいなことをお願いするのは悪いかな、と思いました。でも、「いいよ！」と快く引き受けてくれ、気づいたら一緒に彼のステップシークエンスを滑っていました。自分で練習したときほどはうまく滑れませんでしたが（どっちにしろ優真くんほど綺麗には滑れませんが）、優真くんのタイミングや力の使い方を精一杯合わせました。お手本、そして自分が尊敬する選手が目の前で一緒に滑ってくれるってほど素晴らしいことはあまりないですね。優真くんは本当に優しくて、彼のおかげでとても充実した、楽しい一週間になりました。この映像は僕の宝物になります。共有できて嬉しいです。
