    Another great video! The only problem with your stuff is I’ve watched it all! Absolutely the reason your stuff is the best is that phrase you used, “what I used to always get wrong…” Only a native English speaker can know what is difficult to understand about Spanish, for other native English speakers. And then you have the native Spanish speaker for comprehensible input, and pronunciation. Brilliant concept, flawless execution. Thanks so much for what you do!

      Hey! Thanks so, so much for the kind words + sorry for the slow response! We've actually just welcomed our second child into the world, so been pretty busy to say the least! We'll try and get at least 2 videos out per month in 2024 ... that's the plan anyway :) Happy New Year!!

    This is great, and thanks a lot! I have one question.. @5:02 why is it "Parece Santa Claus" and not "pareces Santa Claus" if the translation is "You look like.."? I mean I guess it could be the formal (usted) conjugation. Would it be "pareces" if you were saying that to a friend (informal)?

    • @spanishunraveled
      @spanishunraveled  Рік тому

      Hey Noah! Yep, we were using the formal "usted" form ... I have to admit that it would have been WAY clearer if we'd just used "tú"! Yes, you'd say "Pareces Santa..." 😄

    Hola chicos
    Una pregunta para ti
    Does “parecerse” get used on its own in reality? I don’t think I have come across it in my 4 years of study
    Also, can we have vosotros please for us Europeans 😉x

    • @spanishunraveled
      @spanishunraveled  7 місяців тому

      Hey Mark! Yep, phrases like "'¿Qué te parece?" are REALLY common (at least in Mexico); I'd say that "No me parece." is less common but still correct. We'll be sure to include "vosotros" conjugations in future videos, too! Thanks so much for watching 🙂

    Why "te perece"and not "te pareces"?

    • @spanishunraveled

      @@mehardin Ah, maybe you're referring to the phrase "¿Qué te parece? - if so, it literally translates as "how does IT SEEM to you; it's NOT a reflexive verb in this context :)
