Absolutely the reason your stuff is the best is that phrase you used, “what I used to always get wrong…” Only a native English speaker can know what is difficult to understand about Spanish, for other native English speakers. This is great, and thanks a lot! I have one question.. @5:02 why is it "Parece Santa Claus" and not "pareces Santa Claus" if the translation is "You look like.."? I mean I guess it could be the formal (usted) conjugation. Would it be "pareces" if you were saying that to a friend (informal)?
Hey Noah! Yep, we were using the formal "usted" form ... I have to admit that it would have been WAY clearer if we'd just used "tú"! Yes, you'd say "Pareces Santa..." 😄

Hey Mark! Yep, phrases like "'¿Qué te parece?" are REALLY common (at least in Mexico); I'd say that "No me parece." is less common but still correct. We'll be sure to include "vosotros" conjugations in future videos, too! Thanks so much for watching 🙂
@@mehardin Ah, maybe you're referring to the phrase "¿Qué te parece? - if so, it literally translates as "how does IT SEEM to you; it's NOT a reflexive verb in this context :)
