Hi Juna, i saw the comment in another video where someone tried to correct your pronunciation of "nitch" and noticed that you now say "nitch or niche". ignore those people, nitch is actually correct for American English. I found this for you: According to the Cambridge dictionary it's pronounced 'Nitch' in American and Canadian English and 'Neesh' in British English. So it seems that the word Niche has evolved and that while 'Nitch' is correct for Americans and Canadians, the rest of the world prefer to pronounce it 'Neesh'. Your videos are awesome and you are doing a huge service for so many people, don't worry about "grammar nazis" who are actually wrong themselves. Keep up the great work!
Perfect, I noticed the same myself. I’m from New Zealand so I say néesh, that said I also understand what people mean when they say nitch. Thanks for sharing.
There is a debate about how you are supposed to pronounce niche. There are two common pronunciation variants, both of which are currently considered correct: \NEESH\ (rhymes with sheesh) and \NICH\ (rhymes with pitch). \NICH\ is the more common one and the older of the two pronunciations. It is the only pronunciation given for the word in all English dictionaries until the 20th century, when \NEESH\ was first listed as a pronunciation variant in Daniel Jones's English Pronouncing Dictionary (1917). \NEESH\ wasn’t listed as a pronunciation in our dictionaries until our 1961 Webster’s Third New International Dictionary, Unabridged, and it wasn’t entered into our smaller Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary until 1993. Even then, it was marked in the Collegiate as a pronunciation that was in educated use but not considered acceptable until 2003. All this is to say that the historical pronunciation has been \NICH\, and that \NEESH\ is a relative newcomer that came about likely under influence from French pronunciation conventions. At this point in time in the U.S., \NICH\ is still the more common pronunciation, but \NEESH\ is gaining ground. Our evidence suggests that in British English, \NEESH\ is now the more common pronunciation.
Thank you!! Your videos are so helpful! I have not made sales on Redbubble but I used the same design for Amazon Merch and I was able to make my first sales to someone that wasn't my family or friends!
Another brilliant video, mate! 👍🏼😉 I just watched your "10 Steps for Print on Demand Success" video. There you say to try out 10 niches to see what works. And here you are, suggesting 10 niches! All your videos taken together are a seamless POD course! For a complete newbie like me this is gold! Thx for all the work! 🙏🏼😎
I just wanna clarify something, whenever you use merch informer to check for a niche with multi-words you have to put them between brackets " " otherwise it will always show you A. Hopefully you get the point guys
Thank you Juna for the valueble information. but, as a beginner on print on demand, realizing that there is such a huge compatition + not enough promoting of beginners' work, and also that you receive only a few dollars as a commission on each item that sells, meaning I'd need thousands of people buying my products every month to earn properly, I doubt weather it's all worth the trouble:(
If you believe you can do it.... it is totally worth it... in my opinion.... If you think you can not compete then you are probably right. A lot of it has to do with mindset in the beginning.
this is a treasure of ideas... Juna you are expanding value of your videos in every video. excellent video for beginners...Juna there are more points for you to make videos in each category shared in this video...but can't ask that.it is very time demanding. Thanks for your work. Ravi.
Thank you for making videos with good value. I found the replies to questions I had and I searched your videos knowing I would find something good. I was actually searching for what to use to do keyword research and to ask if topbubble is enough.
I'm not the best to answer this to be honest... my keywords could be better.... there are so many good tools out there.... I mainly use what RedBubble suggests at the top of the searches.... those tag bubbles, then I make good titles and descriptions with those too.
I'm totally new on the print-on-demand business. I was wondering if you recommend starting to post all the first 100 prints at once or one for each day? Thank you again!
I made some mothers day designs today with bigfoot in... (That's a mythical animal, right?) I also have a bunch of the others on your list up but it's nice to now have them all in a handy reference list for the future, thanks.
Hi, Juna!! Let's say I chose sports as a niche, do you think I should draw for that niche based upon motivations, sarcasm and humor all at a time, or do you think that i should open 3 other shops to do so for each of them?
I wouldn't open multiple shops unless you know they will be profitable.... it's a lot of extra work... it's okay to mix niches until you find those that are working for you.
For occupation niche, should I make design on all the occupations i.e. Doctors, Lawyers, Engineers, Programmers and other or choose one occupation and make design on that i.e. Nurses only. What is your suggestion on this?
Hi, Juna ! This videos really helps. I would like to know if there are any differences between a shop that designs for the trends and another one designing evergreen niches ? Or can you design both in the same shop ? Or do you have to own two different shops to do that ?
I’ve designed a Nintendo game boy T-shirt with graphics used from Canva are they all ok to use? It’s an artist impression of the game boy without the name on it anywhere but are all Canva graphics ok to use?
If someone can tell it's a gameboy then you may be riding the line.... the shape and style of an object/product like VW vans or darth vader helmet can still be IP infringement... be very careful.
I am thinking of starting in dog or cat niche but it has great competition, what should I do, should I start or no? Is there any niche with low competition Can you help me to get better niche to start
Thank you for your great tips. Are wall decor quotes, posters also sought after on Red bubble or not so much? Is it mostly t-shirts, stickers, device cases that are in demand? Thank you very much.
It's hard to say because it is really hard to tell what sells well on RedBubble but for me shirts and stickers sell well. Good quotes and good artwork are what sells well for me.
Thank you for this. I use Canva and design at 4500x5400 but I notice this is not large enough for covering some items on Redbubble like bed covers or shower curtains what size should I be using for these? And which site can I use to increase the size of my design please? 🙏🏽🤗
@@anniejohal2634 I use a photo resizer app. I set the short side of frame to 5000 pixels and it calculates the other side automatically. This fits all sizes on Redbubble. But it's too large for others like Spreadshirt. Use about 4000 pixels or whatever they say.

The fact that he didn't find anything wrong in his vidoes but pronouncing a word is insane

My sales are only evergreen niches, this trends are not rlly working i guess so doing both is wise in way to get trafic to ur store
Yes it's good to try both.... remember to create designs like an artist and create designs people actually want to buy and/or wear.
Include Travel and Reading 😊
Those are great... thanks for the suggestion
Please junna more design videos, please, so that I notice that it is receiving more views on your wonderful channel
More design coming

when you say pick a sport niche does it has to be narrowed down to specific sports like basketball or can you have all kinds of sports in the shop?
I mean pick a sport and then see what kind of things about that sport are selling.... but you can have all types of sports in the shop if you want
Thank you, Juna! Wondering if you would do the same type video but for Amazon Merch? Thank you!😃
Yes of course!
1.Music 2.Sports 3.Games 4.Occupations 5.Hobbies 6.Japanese 7.Animals 8.Space 9.Patterns 10. Legendary Animals
Thank you
Is word clouds a good niche. I am making mine with the shape filled in.
They are cool looking.... I think it depends on the topic
do i need to create one store/brand name thats the same for each platform redbubble etsy merch etc.....?
No... you don't have to if you don't want to... they can all be different if you would like
For occupation niche, should I make design on all the occupations i.e. Doctors, Lawyers, Engineers, Programmers and other or choose one occupation and make design on that i.e. Nurses only. What is your suggestion on this?

hey juna is this still relatable after 2 years? if not can you make a new video about evergreen niches please ? thank you always !
Yes... I think these are still some of the top evergreen niches on RedBubble
I am thinking of starting in dog or cat niche but it has great competition, what should I do, should I start or no?
