    This interview made me really like Collin. He's a very analytical player. Im also so glad that Anna Bright gave recognition to Jorja Johnson. She's one of my favorite women on the tour

      If Colin said what is reported to Ava Ignatowich then Colin may not be a good person. I wish some clarity would be brought to the reported Words Colin said to Ava. As a fan of Colin it was disheartening.

    Insightful content which flowed because multiple interviews were professionally edited - great job. The Joola pros comments on Gearbox had an ironic "pot calling the kettle black" vibe given the event was to launch their new weapon into the pickleball arms race .

    Funny all the joola pros talking about gearbox being too strong yet their new line of paddles are going to be the hottest paddles to date, I was told the serves on the new paddles hit 60+mph from people at the most recent events.

    John - Take a look at international badminton and the use of a tool by the referee to call an illegal serve. Same situation happening in Pickleball.

    10:47 Coffee can be dry processed or wet processed in many regions. What you're describing here is the dry process ("natural" sun drying), and not all coffee from Ethiopia is dry processed. The biggest difference between these two coffee regions is going to be acidity. Higher acidity in Ethiopia and lower in Sumatra with their wet-hulling method.

      From what some people have said on some subreddits is that Gearbox Pro Power is slightly but noticeably faster than the Joola Alpha

    • @Leaderofwhat
      @Leaderofwhat 8 місяців тому +1

      The biggest difference is the sound. The Gearbox is so dangerous because it’s almost silent, providing no indication of how hard the ball is being hit and subsequently how fast it is coming at you. The Joola is louder than most paddles. Hits hard, but you will know it’s coming.
      For the record, both hit harder than USAP should be allowing.

    Right at the start of the video: "When you've gotten to the point where people are wearing safety glasses predominantly you've probably reached that point."
    - Unfortunately it seems we are right about there or about to reach it, the Gearbox and the Alphas are wrecking people

    No one likes to watch 5 hours tennis match and why they slow down tennis court surfaces is because of new tech equipments. If players use old days wooden racket there will be plenty of serve and volley game. Hope I am right to correct Colin’s statement.

    I played against people with these paddles. After Playing against them, I know if this is the new standard in power and paddles , I would give up playing Pickleball. I love Pickleball but with these paddles it is no longer pickleball. It's a new game. I don't enjoy being hit with a ball over and over. Joola and Gearbox are on the verge of destroying the Game from the inside out. Someone at my local park already got a detached Retina from these paddles. Yes eyewear, which i wear but This has gone to far. This could be the begin-ing of the End for Pickleball. Watching it on the PPA also is not fun, points are no longer enjoyable. Its who ever can smash the ball at each other wins, that is why we see Joola sponsored players getting so far in tournaments. Blessings on and of the court.

    Anna Bright should dump James Ignatowich and play with Daescu. Results matter!

    • @zodiactg
      @zodiactg 8 місяців тому +1

      Oooo a very spicy opinion. While Daescu is on the rise right now I believe there haven't been enough time to see if he is going to stay at the top. Also Bright and Ignatowich are dating so it's unlikely.

    I played doubles against a guy that had that gearbox paddle. My partner got hit in the nose almost immediately. I had a very hard time tracking the ball coming off of it because of it’s extreme speed. I’ve played tennis for over 40 years and have good eye hand coordination and playing against that paddle was ridiculous. I fear for women’s safety playing mixed doubles against someone using that thing.
