What’s Baylor looking like in the Spring for football?
@@thefootballexpert2023 it’s a little early to tell because they are just doing workouts but will see what they do in spring game. They did get a late addition for class of 2024 in Josh Lair a 3/4 star at safety which he was committed and signed at Washington before getting out of the Letter of intent due to coach change. They did sign all the transfer portal guys that was committed and all the other guys who didn’t sign in early period including a 3 or 4 star DL in Alex Foster.
You wouldn’t believe this. Former TCU head coach Gary Patterson is on the Baylor staff as a senior level strategic consultant, and some Baylor fans are losing their mind but not me. They did lose their special teams coach but hired a new special teams coach from Houston in Mark Scott. In addition to Mark Scott on the quality control staff, Baylor has added Duke DaRe, Weston Glaser and Kyle Segler, while also adding a pair of graduate assistants in Chris Orr and Elijah McQueen.
That could be a helpful hire
@@thefootballexpert2023I agree Patterson is a helpful hire potential though I don’t like the guy personally. I just know he is a good coach. If he can help baylor I am for it, but after that I am like meh.

Not really. Part of that is because I think the Bears are going to move on from Fields.
Personally, I think they should build around Fields. Trade back and get some capital, then draft OT, WR in the top 10. The additional picks will bolster/shore up other positions.
