Aww, I loved Lady's Guide--it was a total romp for me, with moments of real loveliness. Ah well, they all hit different, there's one out there for you!
I've always found it fascinating how wildly tastes vary amongst friend groups with books and other media. I am glad you did enjoy Mary Poppins, it was a slightly strange recommendation on my part, but its definitely one of those books that is such a critical piece of our pop culture, that it should be read. I love the idea of book to media vlog, and would happily lend you Rats of NIMH as you have already declined Watership Down!
@@missdaisysewing I'm definitely glad I read Mary Poppins! And I doubt I would have ever gotten round to it without you letting me borrow it! So thank you for that! Ooow Rats of Nimh is a good shout. I was also thinking maybe The Borrowers.
Interesting commentary on Perth...is the town like the office? I thought the countryside was beautiful but didn't get a rosy feeling from the business centre... 😂
Thankfully the town centre is a little nicer than the office. Quite friendly and very dog friendly, so its a nice place to grab a coffee or lunch with friends spread out around the country. It's just the office that's less than appealing.
