I love how like half of it is him being a dramatic goofball and the other half is utterly gut punching heartbreak. Also 3:10 hit me the hardest when I first watched the show
I think it's the fact that there's such a delay between Wolfwood's death and this scene. It just goes to show how long he's held it inside and now the shockingly stoic facade he had at the end of episode 23 and the goofy behaviour at the start to episode 24 come crumbling away without any words or flashbacks. It's abrupt and it takes a second, but when it hits you _why_ he's crying and why he cries _now_ coupled with what follows immediately after is harrowing. It's a genuine meltdown that he's been holding together as long as he could
Steven Universe really should've had a Trigun poster as a kid instead of that knockoff naruto one. The patron saint of pacifists not even getting a shout out in that series was such a missed opportunity
I remember reading a tweet that said Vash is pretty much what people think Steven Universe is lol. But honestly yeah! I’d be shocked if they didn’t take inspiration from Trigun when making Steven Universe. Vash and Steven would hit it off instantly over both their pacifist views of life and love for donuts. They also both lost their mother figures (Vash lost Rem, while Steven lost Rose)
3:51 I remember the first time I watched this scene, I was tearing up at how emotional it was. But the moment Vash made that face, I was howling with laughter.
Take a shot every time Vash cries. If it’s not supposed to be a comedic moment, finish your drink. Probably not actually do this with alcohol, if you value your liver.
Holy shit I never realized the first time the idea of them not being human pops up from Vash crying to Knives. So when Knives does the super fucked up shit hes doing it (IN A WAY) to protect his younger brother. Which just makes me think of Knives being utterly shocked everytime Vash shoots him. (Because Knives at first is only trying to make a safe world for Vash and him) Still Knives deserves to die. Not because hes a monster but because hes like 130 years old still selfeshly killing hundreds and thousands of people who live until they are 20 at most.
In the remake, he barely cries, if he does at all. The remake changed the tone of the series completely. In episode 3 of the remake, Merryl asks Vash how he can continue to smile after Knives destroyed a town he knew, and Vash answers: "Because I don't have the right to cry".
It was too much crying for me back in the day. I don't mind emotions but Vash started to annoy me over time. Especially later he is crying constantly on everything. Like get yourself together.
Vash the Stampede a symbol of positive masculinity
Oui! ❤
Oh shut up
@@NinoBrown08goofy
My heart breaks when he cries. He deserves the world.

IF HE CRIES I CRY- WE ALL CRY
I cry you cry we cry
Yes.
He needs 10 hugs every minute of the day.
maybe tis can be hugging (vash) daily mission to all trigun fans lol
"Hey this guy's crying!" "And he's a grown-up!"
"Is there something wrong with that?"
Hit me like a truck.

4:22 vash that is not the meanest thing anyone has ever done to you
🤣
I doubt it’s even the meanest thing anyone’s done to him that day
Yeah…but it was his donut!!!
"That's the meanest thing anyone’s ever done to me!" Vash said, like a liar,
3:26 my goodness this scene had me breaking hearing him scream like that
Bruh my heart died there. 😭
Context? Which ep?
oh my god, my heart WRENCHED
@@claycatz5489 *SPOILERS* but its ep 25 after he gets forced to kill someone and is realising what he did

Steven Universe really should've had a Trigun poster as a kid instead of that knockoff naruto one. The patron saint of pacifists not even getting a shout out in that series was such a missed opportunity
it really is. Vash and Steven def would have a good chat. Maybe they cpuld get some donuts together to cheer up.

3:00 is the most heartbreaking to me personally. like it caught him completely off guard..

Feels like it's 2012 with people uploading Trigun compilations like this lol
And I’m here for it 🫶
I cried just as much as him watching this anime. Curse this anime for being so good...

I think a better drinking game is whenever the cat shows up

3:28 almost makes me the saddest, that scream was horrible it hurts me
i love how it goes from silly crying to just straight up depression
Johnny Young Bosch did a great job as Vash. 😆
He cries so much i expected this video to be longer
Can't get over how young Vash looks like a blonde, blue eyed Gon from HxH.
One of those characters that you physically can't hate
thank you. now I'm crying too
Hear me out... 1:46
If Vash ever had a daughter, he'd name her after Rem.

THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS vash and how often he cries even if it’s mostly for gags is one of the most genuinely special things to me :]

Not all the tears mean the same, though…
Without context him crying over donuts is kinda funny. Less funny when you know why he’s crying.
I relate to the time(s) he cried over a donut.
Hm, why do I didn't notice that he's crying so much when I rewatch all of this a week ago...
MaMaH~ I love that

i think it might be from episode 25.

4 minutes of better than the reboot
I thought the new trigun was a prequel
4 minutes I cried with Vash
20 minutes I cried from disappointment watching the first episode of the reboot
Personally I love the reboot to pieces, but to each their own.
@@GetProphetic Same! I enjoy it a lot. Plus *SPOILERS*
Season 1 turning out to be all a prequel, is rather brilliant!
