Could you imagine if these guys came back to play just 1 more show. They really should just do 1 tour playing all their songs as a set. I feel like they would be sold out everywhere they went
'The Rain In Endless Fall' is definitely my favorite PFC album but this is fucking brutal as well. Those dance beats and breakdowns!! FUCK YEAH 😁 Real Metallic Hardcore, PERIOD. 👍👍💪💪
This is where I found this type of music, back in 2005 in high school. Changed me forever. It’s indescribable, and music like this is not written anymore
@@kalvin90210this style of metalcore has actually had a huge revival recently. A few bands to check out are Balmora, Azshara, xNOMADx, and A Mourning Star.
THANK YOU for posting this. 🙏🏼 Not on Spotify or Apple Music. 😭 Man that packaging never left my mind. So glad I kept mine all these years in (fairly?) good condition.
Is this deathcore but before Deathcore was a big thing? The second songs reminds me a little bit of As Blood Runs Black. The other songs are typical early 2000s melodic metalcore.
Anyone know the guitar tuning for "When the Sun Kisses the Morning"? I keep coming back to C# standard, which Paul has used for the following 22 years or longer, but I'm not positive. Any insight?
So, like Blake is god on drums for me, but silent circus and older stuff guy was a hell of a great drummer too. What ever happened to him? Pardon if I don’t research it myself because I already went down this wormhole to get here. I’m spent for the day. Thanks!

Rain In Endless Fall is the classic but if they continued they def would've been nuts like the riffs on this one bruh
Thank you for uploading this. I'm from Charlotte, NC. Remember seeing them at Tremont Music Hall many times. Many great memories. Legends.
Did you ever see Dawn Of Orion playing shows in NC much?
Look up this is hardcore. Prayer for cleansing. You got your wish Jtk
If only Apple Music would put this banger on their library.
Wow. Never heard of these guys till I saw someone recommend them in a deftones comment section. So good 🤘🏻

Damn miss this band
Tommy and Paul on this?

This is melodic metalcore but deathcore was a thing already by the mid-'00's.
All the Deathcore bands with the more Melodeath-y sound exist because of Prayer For Cleansing
deathcore existed in the 90s with bands like goatamentise, confusion, one last sin, embodyment and others
🔥🔥🔥
I just time warped, fuckin shit 🤘

Hes always used that tuning.
Well it is an awesome tuning and Black Sabbath would attest to that.
It’s called “Beautiful Paul in C# standard.” I don’t actually know guitar, I just copied you. 🤣
I don't know about that song, but I know for fact they used Drop D on some other Prayer for Cleansing songs, such as Sonnet.

Will (who you hear playing) was only on the S/T, The Silent Circus was Mark from Bury your dead, the rest you know.
Awesome, thanks! I’ll have to check them out.
I forgot I even asked this. 😆
Annnnd nope, that is definitely not my jam. Sounds like bro core. Worth a shot though.
@@capnmoench4246 Haha it was. Hatebreed/Throwdown clone, Mark was a great fit for TSC though.
Kind of reminds me of The Black Dahlia Murder
Yeah the black dahlia murder straight up said they were ripping this off when they made their demo haha
