and here are the 3 things we thought that Korea is better than Europe.

because I don't want to cause any troubles~
But to make it clear, I traveled to Italy, France and England!
Italy: Rome, Firenze, Venice
France: Nice, Mont Saint Michel, Paris
England: London, Brighton
There are many things we loved, and thing we found uncomfortable.

I'm from germany, and you really pointed the things out which bother me the most here too. Especially safety and trains.
You say "Europe", but keep in mind you only visted a few citie in three countries, out of a whole continent. It would be like me going to three Asian countries, like Laos, Camdodia, Bhutan and say the Internet is bad, it's poor and unsafe in all of Asia.

From a Europen point of view: I agree to everything you've said. I have been in Korea twice. I'd forgoten my iPad once, on a bus ticket vending machine and came back after 15 minutes and it was still there. The subway in Seoul is clean and always on time and Internet is everywhere in Seoul and you can even get it for free (but that is not always reliable.
And Korea has the better food!
now I want to live in korea even more!!!
Why people only visit those countries.....
Yepp Safety if I miss in South Korea lol lost my credit card didn't know when or were but a week later nobody even used it. I didn't block it yet because I thought it was with me guess not. But as for internet the speed for (free) wifi sometimes is bad yes. But you missed FOOD. Food in Europe is not as cheap as in South Korea...
YEEAHHH the food prices!!! SOOOO Expensive T-T Sometimes when we got the receipt, we were SHOCKED. haha......

Yeah you really have to pay attention about your belonging but it always depends where you are in the country and if you are somewhere very public or not.
Gosh i want to go to korean, do you really have much free/good wifi almost everywhere? It would be the most incredible thing if it would be like that in Germany (where i am from).
The bus i always take to school has an AC, thank god. But lots of trains don't and I hate it especially in the summer.

It's true about the safety things. I mean you shouldn't leave your belongings as you said.
But about the connections, I don't know exactly where you were but in France, the only place where there is a bad connection is the countryside (And we used to have the free Wifi but I don't know why you can rarely find it now, and trust me, we miss it just as you did). AND transportation: I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU (I mean about France, I won't talk for other countries).

I get a teeny bit triggered when someone talks about Europe as a whole :D I mean, there is like 50 countries in Europe, all with distinct cultures and ways of handling things.
With the risk of sounding too defensive: none of those things apply to the whole of Europe. I've been travelling around the continent quite a lot, and I had also lived in several different countries ( mostly Northern:ish Europe), so while some countries might have some of the problems you mentioned, others don't.
F.e. the safety issue is really not a problem in Northern Europe, you can leave your stuff and go to the bathroom and nothing would happen. I experienced that public internet is very fast in the Baltics , and you can find free public wifi hotspots pretty much everywhere. Also the public transportation is very good in Northern Europe. However, I have to agree that sometimes the trains and trams might be late if there is super heavy snowfall or smth, but otherwise public transportation is very efficient and clean.
Also, I would like to add, that some of the problems you mention are symptomatic only to the bigger cities and not the whole country.

저는 폴란드 사람인데 유럽하고 한국의 차이점이 많아요 ㅎㅎ 유럽보다 한국은 더 좋은 점이 뭐냐면 식당에 가면 물이 항상 공짜이고 어디나 화장실 요금이 없어요. 다 유럽 나라는 똑같은지 모르겠지만 여기서 여러곳에서 화장실 요금도 내야 하고 식당에서 물도 사야 해요 ㅠㅠ

I'm from the Czech Republic, and if you leave your luggage or purse somewhere, you do not have it in two minutes. The Internet is slow even in the city center or is not running at all. And everybody already expects the train to be delayed every time. But even so, I feel safe in our country, unlike France or Germany.
I live in Europe but there is wifi and aircons in the buses, subways etc... and in more places in my country and its clean I think it is based on everyones experience (love you💗)
You should check out swiss public transportation 😉 it's clean and you can get pretty much everywhere. Only downside: it's expensive af just like the rest of Switzerland😂

3rd one- I think you were talking about Italy mainly?? Europe is very big and it’s kinda diffident everywhere, for example busses and stuff are never late in Northern Europe, also in Switzerland etc.

There was no air conditioning in the trains or any transportation it’s because in England we are experiencing hot weather, we have not been used to such hot weather before. So it’s my first time experiencing this sweaty and hot weather plus it’s been a very long time without rain

I live in Belguim and i go with the train and bus to school every day and i hate that they are always dirty it makes me feel uncomfy and i have to ride for 40 minutes :l Also the safety, i am always scared that i forget stuff and it'll be gone, one day i went shopping with friends and one of them left a shopping bag at a store ( probably in the fitting rooms ) When we came back to ask if it was still there it was gone. Someone just took it and she had to buy a new one. Then the wifi thing i hate that sooo much. you basically only have wifi at people's home...

As an European (I'm portuguese) I have to say that I agree in some points... Like, I find our security very good, but I've never been outside of Europe so I can't compare it, but I find Portugal more safe than France... The internet speed is something that kills me too 😂 I can have 4G almost everywhere here where I live but we barely have free Wi-Fi in public places, and when we have it it's really slow... And I agree with everything about the public transportation it annoys me sometimes

Go to Norway/Sweden/Finland, cold countries, still have ACs, public transport aint late, WIFI free is everywhere, Internet is actually faster than in korea in sweden :D
I don’t wanna go against your opinions or whatever, but i just don’t really feel like you can say this stuff about Europe, because europe has many countries and they are SO different from each other, so the things that you talk about are also different in every country. Its just that i sometimes am curious when you talk about something where you had that experience, so in which country it was. But anyways, i feel like europe is nice tl visit as a korean and i get that there are many things that felt uncomfortable and were very different. I hope i can experience Korea some day because there are so many things that are better than europe ahha like the safety. I’m from the Netherlands and i think that for example wifi connects are pretty good, it depends and maybe in other countries it wasn’t but you can’t just say ‘in europe’ because its saying that those things are in every country in europe. I hope you understand and i really wasn’t trying to be rude, just letting people know that all the countries in Euroep are SO different from each other. Also cultural things, basically just everything

I was born in the UK and I live in the UK and my parents come from Korea. I agree with everything you said and also my parents are always complaining about the safety. They don't let me go out after 7pm because the UK is really dangerous and there are kidnappers everywhere.

Public transportation is far better in Europe, for even small cities you've got great metro systems, and for a big city London is much better than Seoul in terms of its public transportation.

Eu vivo em Portugal na Europa e infelizmente o que disseste esta certo, a europa é um sitio pelo menos em Portugal é seguro para morar mas se for a um café e deixar lá algo é possível sim que não apareça mais em relação a internet é verdade ha muitos sítios sem internet , e os meios de transporte aqui em Portugal nas duas grandes cidades Porto e Lisboa os transportes são limpos, chegam a horas e são rápidos agora no resto da europa não sei.
Eu realmente acho que posso ir para Portugal em breve! Espero ver seu lindo país
