If you have very large portions of your lawn filled with crab grass that you just killed using your process. What do you do afterwards? Does it make sense to see that area of dead weeds/crabgrass?
@@michaelsong6934 Yes overeeding your lawn is always helpful. Often you will have grass between the weeds that may full in on it's own also.
@@michaelsong6934 Technically you're supposed to wait 3 weeks. Assume the first round of spray didn't fully kill the plants. Be ready for another spray before seeding. Assume the first round of grass seed doesn't take. Try again after a week. Best times are during spring and fall rains.
@@SilverCymbal Do you have any videos on reseeding dead crabgrass/weeds? Or do you just use the same standard reseeding process you have shown before? Thanks again!
@@michaelsong6934 Yes I show you here how to overseed your lawn and a much easier method for doing it. ua-cam.com/video/nAVDDePLoNU/v-deo.html
Excellent video! I love the way you explain clearly. On some other videos, people talk too much not to the point and their videos are way too long and very boring to watch. Thank you so much. BTW, as someone commented, the dog is adorable!!!
I really appreciate that a lot. Glad you liked it. Our dog is really, couldn't ask for a more loyal little friend. Thank you for watching and being a part of my channel.
Great content, I must have watched hours at this point of what you've procured. Thank you for all the great advise explaining fundamentals without needing to spend a fortune at the big box store.
I watched your video on this subject. I ordered from Amazon and it is amazing. Nutmeg turned yellow with in days and creeping Charlie the same. They took awhile and now are gone. Thank you.
I think it may have been another one of your videos on getting rid of clover, but I’m thankful you showed this. Ordered and followed directions and a week later starting to see the results. Thank you.
Thank you for the clear and honest explanation. It’s short, well illustrated.
I love his videos. No cheezy filler. He skips the rapport building and comedy like others do. Always the best products and methods. The clincher here? I thought tenacity too expensive for me. One sentence "may seem expensive but cheaper per gallon.". I also realized I've had to treat and retreat with box store concentrates so in reality cost way less. I also figured out from this video that the tall yellow grass overtaking the lawn is Nutsedge, checked labels and box store weed killer doesn't kill it, no wonder it's flourishing. Thanks much for saving me real aggrevation, time and money..
I really appreciate you taking the time to write such a nice comment. Thanks
best video i've watched on the prep and application of tenacity. I've watched lawn care nut, lawn ninja, etc. Thanks for keeping it simple.
Thank you I really appreciate that
Used this about a month ago....it's working great. Just sprayed the areas I missed last month. It does take a week to 10 days to see most weeds turn white. Some wilt in a day or two, but most take at least a week to show results. Patience!!!
Did you continue to water as usual?
I'm about to get medieval on this yard. I'll send some before and after pics. THANK YOU!
I like your medieval reference !
After watching it work so well for you and others on UA-cam I finally gave in and bought some Tenacity. It's working as advertised, I'm pretty happy so far. I bought some Sedgehammer+ too that I'm going to apply in the future. Thanks for the tips.
Thank you very much glad you had great results too, thanks for taking the time to share this. Everything you need to be weed free: Tenacity Weed Control: amzn.to/2JM4APm - Surfactant: amzn.to/2Xz6dod - Dye/Colorant: amzn.to/2XRUT6V

Have you tried using Sledgehammer on nutsedge? I just ordered some and haven't used it yet.
I watch your videos multiple times, I seem to always pick up something I missed previously.
I appreciate that thank you
Thank you so much for this video. I’m looking forward to a beautiful lawn now.
Thank you for the nice comment and watching.
Thank you! Now I know how to do this.......simple and direct.
Thanks for this down-to-earth advice! I shall give it a go!
i didnt even know what this stuff growing in my yard was until i watched this video i ordered everything in your video thanks for the information
Thank you, - Also check out my web site I have a visual weed guide, just match the picture to what you have to help get the name: www.silvercymbal.com/weed-id
I used Tenacity this year and my yard is coming in nicely. The results are slow but good.
I will be applying this soon. Thank you for the multiple recommendations! 👍👍
Hi. Did you try tenacity for your lawn? How were the results?
@parrotprodigy productions oh no! Well I hope all is now. Thank you so much for responding so fast. I'm debating spending this kind of money not knowing the results.
@parrotprodigy productions 😆 well my front lawn is beautiful! Its my backyard that's a mess. But I also live next to a creek.
Thanks for showing the results. Very good video.
Thank you very much
How soon can you reseed after using Tenacity? Love your to the point and easy to understand video.
Thank you and will give it a try. Have all the products now! waiting for the wind to stop!
I love creeping Charlie. So glad to have it in my yard ☺️
Great video! Hoping to try this method on our property.
Sometimes multiple applications may be required for ivory creeping charlie violets due to root system. Always attempt right out of dormant stage. After a night rain seems better to do in morning. Faster it grows the better they die. I worked for scotts and my experience taught me these tricks.
Can't wait to try this in the spring my lawn is 70 percent creeping Charlies I have tryed every thing hopefully this works thanks for the video
Did it work on your lawn
Very clear and easy to follow video. Thank you very much for your great videos. After tenacity application is it ok to apply a fertilize that comes with weed control+insect control. E.g Scott’s Summer guard. How long should you wait after applying tenacity.
Excellent video.
I definitely need to get this stuff.
Great vid. Everything explained well.
Thank you very much
Awesome. I have been looking for something that's safe for my dogs. I plan to give this a try this week.
Finally found something that kills my wild violet infestation and doesn't harm the lawn. Great product!
Great video.
.......i will be trying this
Well done. Great video.
Thank you for this information. I showed it to my husband and copied the information for him. Ann from Va.
Thanks again for the info, that is very helpful!!
I really appreciate that thank you
Just treated the lawn, hope this works... I will update this page soon.. SE Michigan here..
Any updates??? I'm about 4-5 weeks in. I have had good results but some stuff has still not died completely. Creeping Charlie still present but still white at the tips. Wondering if I need a second application
Once again excellent video. For my renovation I will follow your plan. I’ll be applying tenacity to my entire lawn after aerating and the weeds appear followed by fertilizer corrrct?
Great video! Keep up the good work. You have a new subscriber!
Thank you for the nice comment and subscribing.
I am thinking I will have to finally get some of this good video thanks
Thank you, if you spend your hard earned money on this at least the results are there and you won't waste time too. Thanks for the kind comment and for watching.
Super excited to try this. When dead, do you recommend to leave in lawn and allow grass to move in, or remove?
Nice job
This approach sounds workable for me- Creeping Charlie has begun to take over my backyard and part of the flower bed there, where I have Sedum. I plan to purchase TODAY, 10/18/2021 and apply. Hopefully I will see some results by next summer.
Will you report back after you use and let us know how it works against the Creeping Charlie? In his video, he was showing what looked like clover in his yard, not Creeping Charlie.
I purchased all the items needed from this video. Questions: Will rain or irrigation slow down the process? Is it better to apply late in the day so the product doesn't dry too quickly?
Thanks for making this video! I just got everything you suggested this week. If I cut the grass on Saturdays, is there an optimal day for applying? I imagine if I go a day or two before mowing, there’ll be more contact with the leaves of the weeds. But I can also see an argument for right after mowing because there’s a better chance of making contact with the weeds closer to their roots. Thanks!
No. Embrace creeping Charlie. Never mow again
Awesome channel!
Beautiful place my friend
Thank you! Great video!

What is the recommended temperature range for spraying Tenacity? What were the results on nut sedge? What time of the year are you showing here? Supposedly Tenacity can be used even if you overseed so I’m hoping to use it this fall before I aerate and overseed to control creeping Charlie. Great video and any help here is greatly appreciated
Thanks for sharing Sir👍👍👍
Thanks for the info!
Very helpful. Thank you.
Thank you
You're awesome! We just bought a house on 1.5 acres in Dallas, and the lawn is covered with weeds, patches of dirt, and very little actual grass. Is there a preferable time to do a big blanket of this across the lawn? Is it ok to do now, still in "winter," or should I wait till Spring?
Thank you sir for the video.
Good info, thanks!
Great Video. When can I watering my lawn after apply the solution?
It’s rainfast after 6 hours, but I’d give it 24 hours just to be sure.
Thank you! I’m going to take the dive this year and do this (I hope, because I don’t feel well a lot.)! Can you still cut your grass every week, or should you hold off? I have a guy who comes one day a week.
My entire lawn is nothing but weeds. Looking forward to spraying it all down and starting fresh
What's the best way to renovate an existing lawn without nuking the entire lawn? Currently in our new home there is fescue with crabgrass and other various weeds. There's also quite a hand full of bare spots. I don't know exactly what type of fescue seed was used and I was wondering if overseding with SS1000 and KBG is okay to use or will it look horrible with uniformity?
Works great. Will only use tenacity. ...
How soon can I apply Tenacity after using Scott's Weed and Feed? I worry about over-doing it. Your channel is excellent thank you for the content it is truly helpful!
Excellent video. Our lawn is overloaded with creeping charlie. Not sure we have that much grass left. Can we reseed after we have treated? If so, when?
Great video. Triclopyr is specifically for Creeping Charlie. I hear it works pretty good and is less expensive than Tenacity. Do you know anything about it? Thanks.
Thanks for sharing
Great information if it works like you say because everyone who cares about their lawns has these two problem weeds. You are right about if you don’t treat for them they will grow rampant all over the place.
Thank you, I have some neighbors that have become all weeds now
Hi Silver Cymbal, can anything be done if weeds already taken over? Don't know anything about grass/lawn
@@lorettasanford6482 Even if weeds look like they are 99% you probably have at least 30% grass there. Watch my latest video and I show you what I did. ua-cam.com/video/c54WSOI-MMc/v-deo.html
will this concoction kill wild violets? great video...thanks!!!
All great stuff SC.
Thank you very much
You're awesome.. thanks brotha.
Thank you
👋 hi! I have treated my lawn as you said. It had lots of crab grass and clovers. It is now turning white those areas treated as you said. Since there is large areas with these weeds do I have to add more dirt and then seeds? Or the good grass will take over? Now the weeds are all turning white. I am kinda stuck now. 😬
Creeping Charlie is very healthy, it helped me getting when I had a bad cold
Thank you for the tip on killing Weeds on my lawn.

Thanks for this info…when can I water the grass after spraying this?
You are the best!
Another great video! Thank you. Can you do one thing on how to cleanup after such a process? I’d like to try these but I’ve never done it before and am concerned with cleaning the container and what not. Thanks again!
Thank you that's a good idea. Sprayer cleaning and tool cleaning is important. Let me see what I can do to get that out there for you. Thanks again
Great video. I also would like to kill grass on the flower bed, will this product kill grass as well or do i need to add something else? thank you.
I have a lot of weeds in the yard and also coming up through my new gravel patio. Will this work on the nutsedge growing through the gravel?
Nice video!
What would you suggest if my lawn is made up of like 95% weeds? Spray the whole lawn?
Well, I'm going to get the products and apply them as you said, i have been trying to rid my lawn of creeping charlie for years and the product i use isn't doing the job, thanks for the info, will let you know how it worked.
How early can I put on my lawn and also how many days before it rains may I apply it ? I live in upstate NY
I have the same question as Paul M how long before you can reseed
Hello, I have Centipede grass, I'm not sure if I can use Tenacity on Centipede. I have the Surfactant and the Lazer blue colorant on hand. Just not sure about the Tenacity. I researched the use of Tenacity, but nothing solid for centipede since it's a warm-season grass. Thanks for the many great videos. By the way, your lawn is just plain gorgeous.
Just one question creeping Charlie is taking over my lawn this looks great but can you mow your lawn after applying this chemical.
I was curious to know if you are still using Tenacity this year or are you trying another product? If so, what are you trying? Thanks.
Once you mix the tenacity, do you have to use it all at once? Does it lose its potency if you don't use it all at once?
This is what I've been looking for. My lawn care service has been very ineffective on my creeping charlie.
did it work? my lawn is covered in creeping charlie
Hi. Did you try the tenacity for your creeping Charlie weeds?
@@coracora7714 I need to change my comment about my lawn service. Last Fall, I noticed a marked decline of creeping charlie. They are applying Speedzone as their broadleaf week control. This year, the creeping charlie is all gone except around the flower beds they avoid spraying. I'm using Speedzone in a hand sprayer there and have gotten good control in these small areas. My infestation was pretty heavy a year ago so I guess I needed to be more patient to get rid of this pesky weed. Lawn looks terrific now and grass has filled in all the bare spots left by the dead creeping charlie. Yaay!
@@prsearls thank you so much! I will look into the speedzone.
We got rid of our grass and did landscape gravel and yard decor, I do have a couple barrels of flowers etc, but cant afford all the water to do grass, and I am not able to mow anymore, no kids, cats, dogs, grandkids, so I am good with rock!!
Product looks good. Where are you located because one quickly figured out.. different products work differently in different parts of the country. I’m in PNW
Great video! I don’t have it in my Bermuda lawn, but Creeping Charlie is huge chore in my beds!(comes through my fence from neighbor’s lawn) Is this safe for beds?
Does tenacity stunt the growth of St. Augustine and Bermuda? Thanks for an interesting video.
Love you videos bud very clear and simple
Great video, at the time of spraying what was your temperature and the month you sprayed tenacity? Your lawn looks great. Thanks
Yes, I need the same answer. I tried it early spring and late fall, with just OK results(Michigan)!
What is your recommendation for getting rid of spurge?
New subscriber here. I have a question about the tenacity product. I have recently made a lavender bed for my fiance around the front of my home. The plants are spaced out some at this time so I am able to get in between them with reasonable space to spray. Do you think this would kill out the lavender?
Can this product be used in warmer climates (AL, TN, GA) and in Bermuda Grass and Zoysia Grass?
Question...If I make a two gallon solution, as this video demonstrates, can I leave unused liquid in the spray tank for many months? Can it stay in the tank sprayer for a year and be used effectively next season?
If i just fertilized my lawn should I wait to use the tenacity mix? Awesome channel very informative!
Thank you, you can fertiize right after Tenacity. No issues with that at all. - Everything you need to be weed free: Tenacity Weed Control: amzn.to/2JM4APm Surfactant: amzn.to/2Xz6dod - Dye/Colorant: amzn.to/2Jta4yh

This mixture, will it work for couch grass?
hello can you tell me the preferred outside temperature to apply this product? thank you
IF YOU DON’T USE THE WHOLE (BATCH) YOU’VE MIXED-UP, HOW LONG WILL IT LAST/KEEP IN THE SPRAYER IF YOU PLAN TO RETREAT AREAS IN 2 to 3+ WEEKS???
Is the product safe around wells or high watertable ares?
@silver cymbal, do you know if Tenacity can be mixed with MSM? Thanks.
After applying this product what was your watering cycle or did you water after the 6th day?
