I hope you dig the dimensional tones, gang. 3 things 1) Please let me know what your favorite pedal in the video was 2) Please let me know what your own favorite stereo pedal is. 3) Please consider leaving a like or sharing this video with your friends. Every single piece of engagement goes such a long way and means more to the potential growth of the channel than you could possibly imagine. Thank you so much for your kindness and constant support
I loved the Pyramids, I'm not a flanger guy but the synth with the step mode is just too good. My personal favorite pedal in stereo is the Dimension C, so LUSH.
To me, in this video the Polymoon was the best. Horizont and Hedra next. I like Pyramids a lot, but I feel it depends a lot on what you throw at it to shine, your demo was really great, but honestly I haven't been impressed with anyone elses demo about it, so I think it was your amazing talent and the arsenal you have at your disposal. Having said that, feeding Hedra into Polymoon is a galactic dream. Horizont is on a league its own.
I don't have that many stereo pedals actually. I love the ones I have and these are the Keeley 30ms Doubletracker and the Neunaber Immerse Reverberator. I used to have 19" effect rack units and run them in a wet-dry-wet rig until I realized that it didn't really make much sense. Most people in the audience would never hear the full stereo effect anyway, so you lose the goodness of playing stereo and you lose a lot of power. Since then I decided to go back to mono and everything straight through the middle. For studio stuff I mostly rely on overdubs and post production stereo effects. But my Keeley and my Neunaber..., these sounds can't be duplicated. Well, maybe they can, but it's hard to play without the effects when your music is based all around it. :-)
That last slicer effect was awesome. Ive been hung up on stereo tremolo because of the hard panning effect and this slicer takes that even further, if you close your eyes and imagine the sound going around you in circles (not just back and forth) you can actually hear a bit of tone shifting allowing you to FEEL like the signal is truly surround sound and going in a circle AROUND you. Its awesome
Wow the Korg demo wow so many movies came into mind and a dash of scenes from sci fi dust.and carpenter brut I love what you do thank you Tim from London ontario
Wow... This was phenomenal. You know exactly what to play to get the best out of each pedal. Just wonderful as always. The ROOMS was a revelation to me, but the Slicer... Magnificent. My favourites that I own are the Empress Echosystem and Reverb. I love your demos Stefan.
Doug! Thank you so much. Your kindness always brightens my day. And I'm happy to hear you're enjoying the stereo goodness of your Empress gear as well. They definitely know how to make something special
ThePedalZone clink clink! Haha. Also, I really like the Rooms pedal. It does realistic and extreme spatial sounds in a very convincing way. It can sound both like a real physical space and also a surreal otherworldly realm, that still reacts as if it was a physical space. My rig is centered around an HX Stomp but I rarely run stereo. In fact I’m a big obsessed with start-to-finish mono recordings. So many users are listening on what amounts to mono equipment, Bluetooth speakers, cell phones and tablets that aren’t nearly wide enough to reproduce a stereo image. A lot of time and effort in recording is about stereo fields and balancing elements of the recording on pristine monitors with optimal acoustic spaces, but a lot of listeners closest use cases are in like a vehicle. Or maybe I’m just nostalgic for 8tracks from my dads old truck with a CB radio and no floor... There definitely is magic in mono, that’s what I’m getting at.
Oh, I totally agree. Like I said in the intro I’m not fanatic about gear needing to be stereo, since I play in mono 90% of the time. So I’m all for the magic of mono. But some pedals just turning into something else when used in stereo. Like the Meris pedals for instance. It’s just a totally different experience than the mono equivalent, and I applaud gear that really shows that thought, care and time was put into how the stereo image should play out 😊👍
Fine video, as always. :) These are mostly all pedals that are doing SOMETHING in stereo, but if you just want what you're playing to magically become stereo, then the Mimiq is the finest double-tracking thing EVER. Keeley's fine. I have their Compressor and Limiter, but for disturbingly good stereo-ization, there is no competition to the Mimiq.
Love the vid and love that you are embracing yourself. The little sneak peeks you've been giving us proves just how cool you look! The new do looks great!!!
Awww, man! Thank you. Very kind of you. It took a while to get there, but I'm happy I did it. It only took a pandemic for me to finally shave my hair off 😂😊🙏
Glad you're back, man. Great theme- I fell in love with stereo imaging when I got the Immerse mkii. Rooms sounds lush af. Wow! I want to play in there. And...my jaw fell open with the Slicer. That thing never quite made it onto my radar- though I'd heard of it peripherally. If the Gigadelay is "Mogwai in a box," then the Slicer is "four tet in a box." Too bad it's doscontinued and going for $300+ currently!
I'm struggling to work out which pedal is best because your playing is so inventive that you wring the best out of them. But I think I like the Meris pedals best because the stereo effects are impressive but very musical. The Empress Echosystem is very nice as well. Some of the stereo effects can be a bit too "ping pong" if you know what I mean and can get wearing on the ears quite quickly. The Boss Slicer - what a blast from the past. Didn't expect to see that in this video!
Awww, man! Thanks. Very kind of you. I agree with you on the Meris pedals. Their stereo field is extremely musical, and the same goes for the Echosystem. And I totally know what you mean with how some stereo effects can be too ping-pongy and give you ear fatigue really quickly. The slicer can easily be fatiguing if you use its random or ping-pong mode too heavily, but it's such a fun pedal to play ☺
I love the Eventide stuff. A Space ran in stereo is hard to beat. I've pretty much been using the Space paired with a Dreadbox Hypnosis for almost all my recording these days.
I've been creeping your pedal review vids for the last couple of years (along with many others), just ran across this...by far my favorite review...these sound so good. You could put a board together featuring all these pedals and it would absolutely crush (and this is keeping in mind the updated offerings in 2022).
Great video, man. I know it's about the stereo pedals, but I am thrilled to see the OBNE Expression Slider getting some love. It is one of my favorite toys. Also, you're not wrong, sir. The Polymoon is dope.
I always enjoy your combination of enthusiasm and musicality. The way you use your pedals to augment your sound inspires me. I love my Hedra. Everything from Meris, really. I have a few other suggestions for you: more stuff from Source Audio - all of their neuro stuff is super; I'm starting to get into Alexander pedals, I'm hooked on the Syntax Error in particular; and the Hologram Electronics Microcosm - just got mine and it will take me another year to really master it, blows my mind every day.
I was just thinking of what benefits I get from a stereo rig. Here is your video! -I rig a Peavey Classic Stereo 50/50. Probably made for keyboards but I've rigged it with a stereo mixer in front. I only exploit stereo at the delay reverb end of the board. A Volante and a Silverlake work for me but now I want to blend them stereo instead of one into the other. But I want dramatics, the Volante gives me some - I have a Zero-Point on the left channel for drama. I'm sure I need to mix the reverb and delay instead of chain. But these pedals really show off with the stereo! Makes me think! You make great videos bro, keep it up!
ROOMS is great, man. I love that slight gliding ping-pongy delay offset between the two channels. Makes for a really lively stereo reverb. And yeah, we can only keep our fingers crossed regarding DBA's next release. A stereo delay would definitely be epic
I never tried stereo before, mainly because I have only one amp, buy man that sounds gorgeous ! I'll truly consider it later 😉 And it's also good to see you back !
Rooms is a great pedal. I think another great one for stereo is the Empress Zoia, since you can make an almost infinite amount of variation between channels however you'd like, with whatever effects you choose. The new UA pedals are also all stereo in & out (Astra, Starlight, and Golden) so they might excel in a stereo chain.
Good stuff man! I love that Polymoon. So many sounds! Meris is killing it right now! My current fav stereo pedal that I own is the Strymon Volante. Long time fan of the Bigsky too.
I seen the title of the video and seen that it only came out 7 hours ago and all I did was scream YESSSSSSSSSSSS! I used to have a stereo effect on my old transfex 212 and I really really miss it
And here I was, thinking there weren't many stereo pedals. How can the Polymoon be so versatile??? There's so many sounds that can come out of it, it may be my favorite stereo pedal too. The Dunable Splatterblaster is probably my other favorite, it's a stereo distortion/fuzz pedal that really makes both channels sound incredibly different, I can't imagine how it would sound with one of the pedals in here going after it!
Polymoon is seriously just a masterpiece. It’s something that will never leave my possession. As you say, it’s just stupid versatile, and sounds amazing both as a delay, modulation pedal, reverb and total tonal soundscape monster 👌 The Dunable Splatterblaster looks seriously cool. I’ve been having my eye on one for a long time now. Hope I get the chance to try one in the near future. The world definitely needs more stereo dirt devices 😊🤘
What will provide the wettest dripping water spaciest heavenly twinkling stars type sounds? That is the one I am looking for! Can you post it up? thanks. I have been looking for that sound for about 5 years..
Sounds great! I've been building up my stereo board over the past 6 months and I look to your channel frequently for tips - I was very excited to see this video. I have the empress echosystem and it's beautiful stereo pedal - not sure if you saw but it has a stereo width setting that you can max out and it sounds amazing. Also, if you haven't tried the Microcosm, you'll have to add it to this list - the stereo spread on it's effects are jaw dropping and I actually had a moment where I thought "ThePedalZone guy would love this thing.
Man! I didn't know about that stereo width setting on the Echosystem, I have to mess around with that. I already feel like it sounds amazing in stereo, but I'm always up for more stereo goodness. Happy you liked the video 😊🙏
@ThePedalZone do you sell your music? If so under what name & where? I have severe chronic facial pain and ambient music is a huge way I cope. I can only make my own so fast (I also do Metal stuff on the side) so I’m always searching for more. I’ll definitely buy yours. Thanks P.S. I love your unaffected clean tone!
I use stereo for everything. The last 6 pedals on my board are all wired in stereo: Chorus, rotary/tremolo, 2 delays, reverb, and a looper. Hard to pick a favorite... but the TC Electronics Alter Ego 2 (the single-size one) is absolutely fantastic. The tape modulation on the Space Echo setting, especially in ping-pong mode, is just wonderful to listen to.
I have a version of that slicer in my MD-500, it's both of my little girls favorite mode to mess with. They can't play anything, but that slicer makes it sound like they are! lol
There's a lot to love when it comes to Meris. The sound quality they deliver is just next level. Mercury7 is still the best reverb pedal I've ever owned.
Thank you very much! Yeah, I just got that Harley Benton JA-60. I'm honestly absolutely stunned by how good it is. Incredible bang for the buck, I must say. It has an almost piano-like attack, which I really like, and it's a joy to play. I didn't even have to do a setup on it. Just played wonderfully straight out of the box.
Also wanted to comment on the Harley Benton guitar. It looks and sound great in this video! Awesome content as always @ThePedalZone. Your stuff is a blast to watch.
This video made me miss my Polymoon. A lot of the big Source Audio pedals and Boss 500 series is great for stereo because you can run seperate effects on each side.
All these pedals you areshowing us are amazing, but you forgot the Specular Tempus from GFI systems, for its fabulous reverb algorithm. Congratulations for your work however !
Can't forget something I don't have 😊 But I'm sure the GFI is great. I tried it briefly at NAMM, and it was a wonderful experience. Thanks for the kind words about the video.
I hope you dig the dimensional tones, gang. 3 things 1) Please let me know what your favorite pedal in the video was 2) Please let me know what your own favorite stereo pedal is. 3) Please consider leaving a like or sharing this video with your friends. I loved the Pyramids, I'm not a flanger guy but the synth with the step mode is just too good. My personal favorite pedal in stereo is the Dimension C, so LUSH.
Ployeffects Digit if my favorite stereo pedal

Would you consider doing an entire video on the slicer? I would love to hear more soundscapes you come up with for that pedal.
Love that the Slicer got recognized. I still keep mine and love it- sonic underdog. If anything, it inspires you to play something different.
The Slicer rules!
So good to see you're back from the break man! Definitely missed your soundcapes, hope everything is great in your life!
Oh I'm 100% back. Did you catch my OBNE Signal Blender video last week? ☺ And thanks for the kind words, really means the world to me 🙏
The most eloquent UA-camr. You should write labels for wineries. And the best pedal demos. ;-)
Haha! I'm honored. Cheers 😊🍷
That riff on the poly moon is fantastic!
Thank you!
Its awesome
Yeah, slicer sounds unreal in stereo. Those 3D stereo modes are really clever
Thoroughly loved this one. Of course the Polymoon, of course the Echosystem. The Horizont! The Slicer! The ROOMS! Oh my sonic goodness.
Awwww, dude! Thank you ❤️🙏 Always means so much to me 😊
nah man the riffs with the slicer and the cirrus.. I could die it's sooo good!
Thank you very much 🙏
Slicer is on my radar. ...if it had full midi. OMG.
This is better than any binaural ASMR on the whole internet... eargasmic
Hahaha! Awesome!!! Thank you so much 🙏
Wow the Korg demo wow so many movies came into mind and a dash of scenes from sci fi dust.and carpenter brut I love what you do thank you Tim from London ontario

I’ve seen this video a few times but I just rewatched it with my new open back headphones and damn.
Thanks for watching! Means a lot!
Big fan of the stereo setup, the possibilities are endless and especially the sonic *experience is sooooo much better.
Yeah, once you go stereo, it's really difficult to go back to mono again.
Your playing/progressions. Love them. Reminds me of church which I'm starting to miss a bit.
Thank you kindly!
Now THIS is something nice to wake up to and drink my cuppa coffee with. Thanks for all your work, Stefan!
I'll go grab a cup of coffee and join you in spirit. Thank you for the kind words. Hope the sounds go well with your morning brew ☺☕
ThePedalZone clink clink! Haha. Also, I really like the Rooms pedal. It does realistic and extreme spatial sounds in a very convincing way. Omg that death room thing is amazing
Death Room Thing would be a pretty rad pedal name. But yeah, ROOMS is awesome :)
I came here for the playing!!! I wasn't disappointed! :)
I'm happy to hear that. I hate disappointing people 😊
Love the vid and love that you are embracing yourself. The little sneak peeks you've been giving us proves just how cool you look! The new do looks great!!!
Awww, man! Thank you. Very kind of you. It took a while to get there, but I'm happy I did it. It only took a pandemic for me to finally shave my hair off 😂😊🙏
The Slicer paired with the Cirrus was my favorite. I want both of them. Also impressed with the Polymoon & Hedra.
You playing with the Slicer was awesome!
Thank you so much! Really kind of you 🙏
We love your videos - always with bleeding passion and finesse. (Kh, Troels)
Oh wow! Thank you so much. Means a ton to me ❤ (Mange tak! Kh. Stefan)
Glad you're back, man. Great theme- I fell in love with stereo imaging when I got the Immerse mkii. Rooms sounds lush af. Wow! I want to play in there. And...my jaw fell open with the Slicer. Gotta say I was really impressed by the Slicer. The fact that it was able to turn just a few notes into this rhythmic beat is fascinating.
It is indeed a fascinating pedal. It was way ahead of its time
You always get the most out of these pedals, very creative! Would love to see a video about your guitars :)
Thanks, man! Means a lot!
Can't wait for when you do a Part 2!!
Hope I find the time in the near future. Could be a fun follow-up video to do.
Perhaps not a stereo ambience tool, but the Mr Black Vintage Ensemble Stereo has a stunning ability to create a wide and beautiful stereo field
I'm all for wide stereo fields 😊
Great video demo!! Thanks!! 🔥🔥🙏
Thanks, man!

You can't go wrong with Eventide 😊
du er så SINDSYG GO ! Jeg elsker dine reviews, ligesåmeget som jeg elsker din musik ! - in english - Youre SUCH a good guitarist ! 😘
Og du er da sindsyg sød 😊MANGE TAK!
I've been creeping your pedal review vids for the last couple of years (along with many others), just ran across this...by far my favorite review...these sound so good. You could put a board together featuring all these pedals and it would absolutely crush (and this is keeping in mind the updated offerings in 2022).
Good to have you back man. Demos just aren't the same without you
Awwww. Thanks! It's good to be back 😊
Great video, man. I know it's about the stereo pedals, but I am thrilled to see the OBNE Expression Slider getting some love. It is one of my favorite toys. Also, you're not wrong, sir. The Polymoon is dope.
Thanks for the kind words! And I love those tiny expression sliders. Been using them in a lot of my videos. Just so much fun 😊
That Polymoon.... just beautiful... I want one on my board and just play forever
That pedal truly is something special ❤💫
Yay another video!!! Your demos are the Rx of my G.A.S.
Such amazing sounds!
Thank you so much! I’m always ready to prescribe a healthy dose of ambience 😊🙏

But these pedals really show off with the stereo! Makes me think! You make great videos bro, keep it up!
I already have nice stereo chorus and delay pedals, but I need a Hedra and Rooms pedals! Wow!
What a awesome video. Thanks Stefan.
Thank you so much!
Great channel ! Thank you.
Cheers! Means a lot to me
awesome video again, stefan, and your actual playing even got so much better ... congrats on your work and a channel full of awesomeness ... thanks
Thanks a ton!
Lovely video. Thanks!
Cheers! Happy you enjoyed it!
Stellar tones and musical ideas in this episode Stefan!
Means a lot coming from you, man! Thank you ❤️🙏
ThePedalZone you got it man
thank you! more stereo needed!!!
Cheers! Definitely need to do a Part 2 😊
You rock! Best ambient guitarist on UA-cam!
Oh wow! Incredibly kind of you. Thank you!
Haha i came back to this video not even realizing I already commented!
Still the best-
I loved the Rooms, I'm interested to see if DBA come out with some sort of destructive stereo delay at some point
I'll truly consider it later 😉
And it's also good to see you back !
Always a good excuse to get a second amp 😉😂It's good to be back. Really happy you liked the video!
Like your channel. You have a true passion and it shows
Thank you! That’s super kind of you to say ❤️🙏
Beautiful setup & excellent b-roll!
Thank you!
Love your demos and insight my man. You always play the right things.
Kind of you! Thank you!
Man, I love this channel. Keep it up!
Awwww! Thank you 🥰
Rooms is a great pedal. I think another great one for stereo is the Empress Zoia, since you can make an almost infinite amount of variation between channels however you'd like, with whatever effects you choose. The new UA pedals are also all stereo in & out (Astra, Starlight, and Golden) so they might excel in a stereo chain.
The rooms verb is sooooo good
Yeah, it's crazy good. Happy you enjoyed it
as always.. phenomenal video stefan!
You guys are the best. Love ya ❤
quite the contrary, our friend!
Please do a Slicer demo, I really wanna buy one, but there is not a single really good review of it
And when it comes to good reviews you are the king
i agree he needs to do this!
The slicer sounds fantastic
Great pedal for sure!
Good stuff man! I love that Polymoon. So many sounds! Meris is killing it right now! My current fav stereo pedal that I own is the Strymon Volante. Long time fan of the Bigsky too.
Cheers, man! Yeah, Polymoon is next level stuff 😊 Volante looks like a lot of fun as well
I really liked the sounds you presented, gives a lot of ideas for how to find new sounds. Cool stuff. Merry Christmas btw!
Thank you! Super happy you liked the sounds
I seen the title of the video and seen that it only came out 7 hours ago and all I did was scream YESSSSSSSSSSSS! I used to have a stereo effect on my old transfex 212 and I really really miss it
Haha! Awesome to hear you’re excited. Hope the video opened your eyes to some new stereo effects you can add to your setup 😊
And here I was, thinking there weren't many stereo pedals. How can the Polymoon be so versatile??? There's so many sounds that can come out of it, it may be my favorite stereo pedal too.

Wow! 🤯 Great video
Thank you so much 🥰
What will provide the wettest dripping water spaciest heavenly twinkling stars type sounds? That is the one I am looking for! Can you post it up? thanks. I have been looking for that sound for about 5 years..
The slicer! Woah.
Yeah, it’s pretty neat 😊
4:33 That chord sounded so much like Alcest!
Cool! I love that band so much 😊
That keeley double tracker is super impressive, I’ve never thought about it for ambient stuff. I usually see stuff like that fir metal. Great job man!
Sounds great! I've been building up my stereo board over the past 6 months and I look to your channel frequently for tips - I was very excited to see this video. Great tones and playing!!!
Thank you very much 🙏
I knew polymoon would be here.
Of course it's there. It's THE stereo pedal, in my book ☺
Great video and lovely playing! Now I know how Ratatat gets their guitars to sound like that (Hydra).
Happy to hear you liked the video. Means a lot! 🙏
Great video, i love that ping ponging so much! and hey, we have the same hat :)
Thank you so much, man! A nice ping ponging stereo field just results in endless moments of zen ❤️🙌 And yay! Hat twins 🧢
@ThePedalZone do you sell your music? If so under what name & where? I have severe chronic facial pain and ambient music is a huge way I cope. I can only make my own so fast (I also do Metal stuff on the side) so I’m always searching for more. I’ll definitely buy yours. Thanks

Great video man. Death is beautiful.
Greetings from Argentina.
Thank you! Happy you enjoyed the vid!
The Boss slicer is back!
Sure is! 😊
I've got to get my hands on a Polymoon, so much wow in one pedal.
“So much wow in one pedal” is the best description of Polymoon I’ve ever heard. Indeed! So freaking much wow in that thing 🤩🙌👌
I read the comment before I watched the video, and I understand now what you meant...
Woooooo I need that Boss Slicer
Happy you liked it. It’s hella cool 😎
Damn! My boy really knows how to end on a high note! :P
Sometimes you just need to stereo everything ☺
@@thepedalzone Yaaaaasssss
Found your Chan by way of Meris 7 and Polymoon -which I just bought. I also have a Axe FX III which is fire but these are different.
I'm stoked to have you here!
I have a version of that slicer in my MD-500, it's both of my little girls favorite mode to mess with. They can't play anything, but that slicer makes it sound like they are! lol
Bring me the widest soundscapes in all the land!
Im starting to really become a fan of the Meris pedals. The mercury 7 is my holy grail reverb. It will be mine. Oh yes. It will be mine.
There's a lot to love when it comes to Meris. The sound quality they deliver is just next level. Mercury7 is still the best reverb pedal I've ever owned.
As a reverb junkie myself i cant decide between ROOMS and Mercury 7. M7 probably has way more sounds in it but idk. Both reverbs are heaven.
@@MrBeauChat I got the mercury and I love it!
Have Collider del/rev pedal. Love it 😊
Source Audio definitely do stereo really well!
I have a boss ps-6. Completely underwhelming mono, but stereo its an amazing device for the first stereo pedal in your chain.
We are not awesome.. it is you who are awesome, sir!
❤️❤️❤️
As always, awesome demos! The Harley-Benton is new. At least I haven't seen you play it before in a demo. What are your thoughts on it?
Thank you very much! Yeah, I just got that Harley Benton JA-60. I'm honestly absolutely stunned by how good it is. Incredible bang for the buck, I must say. It has an almost piano-like attack, which I really like, and it's a joy to play. I didn't even have to do a setup on it. Just played wonderfully straight out of the box.
Also wanted to comment on the Harley Benton guitar. It looks and sound great in this video! Awesome content as always @ThePedalZone. Your stuff is a blast to watch.
Switching my delay needs to the Echosystem in the near future :)
Yes!!! It’s so inspiring and ridiculously versatile
What is the best way to use stereo to do panning / rotary in music like prog rock/ psychedelia? Looking at the BOSS MD-20 and their old rotary pedal
This video made me miss my Polymoon.
A lot of the big Source Audio pedals and Boss 500 series is great for stereo because you can run seperate effects on each side.
Yeah, I’m never gonna part with my Polymoon. It’s just become such a big part of my sonic dna 🧬
Ever done polymoon > rooms ?
Rooms sounds stereo af , wondering if it would enhance or cloud the stereo phaser sweeps on the polymoon
"walked through the figurative wardrobe and suddenly find yourself in sonic Narnia, " :-) nice,
Aye the thermae sounds amazing thru the keeley 30ms
I believe that. Will have to give it a go 😊
Only stereo pedal I own is the Zoom MS-70CDR and it's really great for the price!
It definitely looks like a fun device
Great video.... but when are we going get a full ROOMS demo?! Love from NYC brother.
Thank you! I'll hopefully have a demo ready soon
Awesome Sir! Cheers 😎
Thank you so much!
Great demo as usual! Will you at any point be doing an in depth demo with Rooms?
Thank you very much! And yes, I’ll start working on a full ROOMS demo soon
GFI Specular Tempus is a pretty awesome digital reverb/delay, rivals many pedals costing a lot more.
I’ve only tried it briefly at NAMM, but it did indeed sound really really good 👌
All these pedals you areshowing us are amazing, but you forgot the Specular Tempus from GFI systems, for its fabulous reverb algorithm. Congratulations for your work however !
Can't forget something I don't have 😊 But I'm sure the GFI is great. I tried it briefly at NAMM, and it was a wonderful experience. Thanks for the kind words about the video.
What a poet... be it musically as well as linguistically.
Awwwwww 🥰 Thank you so much!
