The scallion knife is for making decorative items. The reason that the spike stops the blades going further is to create a scallion with a frond like tail. It's definitely not intended for cutting the hollow green ends of the scallion.
You are correct, there would be shards of glass that fall in. And to the person who said you’d see the shards, some yes, but there would be microscopic shards of glass that you can’t see w the naked eye. In medicine, there’s glass vials containing a drug and you snap the glass to access the drug. They also have devices that filter out shards of glass, so yes glass would be in the drink. Microscopic shards can cause micro tears in the gi system.

For anyone else curious about the butter sticks, here’s the Food Network’s explanation! “To understand why East Coast and West Coast butter sticks come in different sizes, we’ll need a quick history lesson. ‘The machines used to first process and pack butter were purchased in the 1920’s and 1930’s. At that time, the East Coast dominated dairy production. While the West Coast had butter cooperatives, the industry wasn’t at the caliber it is today,’ Totah explains. ‘They began ramping up production in the 1960s and by 1975, California was the second leading dairy production in the country. By that time, the original Elgin machines used for processing and packing the longer, skinnier sticks of butter were no longer available. They instead purchased new machinery that cut the sticks into shorter, fatter sticks.’”

As someone that cooks on gas I love that you can take the handle off. I’m forever getting the flame on the pan handle and it smells awful 😂 Also, on what planet are those pans not big enough for 2 people??
Okay so the handle for the pan is specifically for hot stuff like if the handle of the pan is too hot you use attachment and can move around the pan easily... For safety purposes it is written no using over high flame but after the flame is turned off you can use it without the handle being too hot to hold on to .. I have used this is attachment and helps me out alot. And saves me from getting burnt. It also sticks on the any pan which doesn't have a handle or if the handle gets too hot to hold
I would try the pasta machine, possibly. Although I don't particularly care for anything but spaghetti and my wife can't eat regular spaghetti for medical reasons. Lasagna, we both enjoy, but I don't think a machine for just lasagna is worth it. The scallion thing I agree is a waste of time. I'm not a big fan of fancy dress-up food. I like flavor. My fancy food is smoked or spiced. Nothing frilly. Of course, I do live in Alaska, and time is money. Thank you for your honest reviews. I love you guys so much I can’t believe that you’re on UA-cam
I Love to tested 1 Star Kitchen Gadgets with my sister, Mo and thank you, Ro 😍💕
As someone that cooks on gas I love that you can take the handle off. I’m forever getting the flame on the pan handle and it smells awful 😂
Also, on what planet are those pans not big enough for 2 people??
Rosanna putting the butter on her pancakes, is me with the chocolate chips in my pancakes
I spent 9 years of my life in Seattle and my dad had a big vegetable garden. It was awesome!
Tahnks especially for the pasta maker review. Will wait to se if the price comes down.
I'm a new subscriber so I need to go back and look through older videos. Also I'm going to ask my friends to look into subscribing to your channel. ❤
7:32 reminded me of: “it is so bad, I wanna give you a 0, but that’s not possible, so I give you a 1” 😭
I love this duo so much you make my day so much better
