The "standard" butter over here in New England is the skinnier ones, I never even knew other shapes existed until I grew up... but I have learned that the "standard" varies from place to place across the USA
For anyone else curious about the butter sticks, here’s the Food Network’s explanation! “To understand why East Coast and West Coast butter sticks come in different sizes, we’ll need a quick history lesson. ‘The machines used to first process and pack butter were purchased in the 1920’s and 1930’s. At that time, the East Coast dominated dairy production. While the West Coast had butter cooperatives, the industry wasn’t at the caliber it is today,’ Totah explains. ‘They began ramping up production in the 1960s and by 1975, California was the second leading dairy production in the country. Short fat sticks don't mean the butter is fancy. It just means it was likely processed on the west side of the US. Same weight, different shape. And it comes 4 sticks in a box here too.
If/when that pasta gadget comes back in stock that'll have to be my next big purchase because I have been DYING to make homemade pasta, but I dont have enough counter space (or money for the big kitchen aid attachments). But this guy does everything for me in my tiny kitchen!!!!😍😍😍
Regarding the butter, here in Oregon, it's about 50/50 skinny or fat sticks. As for the cheese grater, I have one of those that I use constantly. My only thought for the review is that some of them can be set up for right or left-handed use, and if they had it set up wrong, they may have been trying to use it backwards. Cleaning is really easy, just remove the blade and put the pieces in the dishwasher or hand-wash with a bottle brush.
Leave it to mike and ro to turn 1 Star stuff into five stars with the enthusiasm and emotion . Mike 2:20 made this a five star product. ❤ . 8:39 her tone in this was outstanding. And face reaction boss vibes. Yup.
10:41. We actually have similar removable handles in my home. But it's for a very specific set of pots and pans and it's more like screwing on a bolt. Works well for when we have left overs or don't want the pot to fill to much once on the dinner table. Though again the pot is specifically made for it. It's not a clip on thing.
For the sabre. It looks nice but the same result can happen with any chefs knife. I've even used a replica of the Master Sword from the Legend of Zelda.
1:25 Ive always known the long skinny butter stick to be standard. So I looked it up out of curosity and apparently the east and west coast have different butter stick standard sizes 😶, who woulda thunk.
The scallion cutter is not used like that. You hold the handle and drag the blades horizontally (from white to green)over the scallion to make ribbons.
The pressure from the bottle shoots off any small shards. You are left with a clean almost sanded surface. Think ocean glass. I've done a lot of sabrage. Though don't do things if you aren't comfortable. Sabrage is a cool estetique and 100% not necessary.
My mom got me a set of pans like they tested. It doesn’t have the lock that covers the release button. Okay so the handle for the pan is specifically for hot stuff like if the handle of the pan is too hot you use attachment and can move around the pan easily... For safety purposes it is written no using over high flame but after the flame is turned off you can use it without the handle being too hot to hold on to .. I have used this is attachment and helps me out alot. And saves me from getting burnt. It also sticks on the any pan which doesn't have a handle or if the handle gets too hot to hold
This was a fun video! I wanted to add that not all the 'free product' reviews are fake. Most of the time the people do have to pay taxes for those products and they are not in contact with those manufacturers or sellers at all. Some people take it seriously as there is no penalty for leaving good or bad reviews. There are some people that are lazy and don't actually review the product. On the other hand, if a person spends money, they are more likely to give a product that has a small flaw a 1 star review because they are upset. Same with restaurants.
