…I Love the way you respect and show what you love about other guitars, considering that you have your own guitar line…..You aren’t a ‘hater.’…..Love that!…..Rock on, Ola!…..🤘🔥🤘…
Always been a Fender Strat man but after playing a Jackson soloist w. FR I realized that’s the best strat you can have ( owned by Fender) I then added a Charvel San Dimas to the collection. The Dimarzio super Distortions are also a nice touch.
Man those are looking cool! My SL2H-Mah U.S.A. soloist from 2005 is still an absolutely phenomenal guitar and a testament to how great quarter sawn maple necks are!! The neck is still in absolute perfect condition, no twists or bow. Only adjusted the truss rod once when I got the guitar when I first installed my heavier gauge strings than stock. That guitar in used condition now sells for $1000 more than new list price in 2005 :) Which was around $2200.00 if I recall correctly. I don’t know if they’re still doing quartersawn necks I’m definitely going to use one when I build my custom multi scale eighth string. 26.5-29
@@martyshwaartz971 I have 4 Les Pauls, 1 with an Alnico 8, one with alnico 5 and 2 with ceramic, the ceramic magnets are really different in a number of ways. They are sharper sounding, really clear clean, and aggressive in a different way to the Alnico 8, a bit sterile even, the Alnico 5 is totally different, a lot smoother, I mainly use the alnico 8 as I like it's aggressive edge and sound. If you think all pickups sound the same you're completely wrong.
@@MickH60 on cleans you might be right. However, on heavy distortion, the are indistinguishable except for some slight difference in brightness (differences that you can usually eliminate with 1/40th of a turn of the treble knob on your amp)
I remember in the early 00s a shop close to me had...3x Jackson crackle finish strats, one of the Kramer Barretta Planet artist editions. a Kramer Nightswan amd Jersey Star,a Gene Simmons AXE bass copy, a Charvel crackle finish strat, the Hotel Californina, Miami and NY Kramer art guitars, a Charvel double HB telecaster and about a 20 different Strats. Amazing time to be a guitar buyer. Especially in the UK in a small town.
Thrilled to see the new Jackson USA models with EMG pups. And that there is a fixed bridge option from the get-go. My favorite from my personal collection is a fixed bridge Soloist.
Jackson’s are fantastic to play but if you’re a stickler for the feel of a neck nothing in metal rivals charvel right now. Hands down my most comfortable guitar. Loaded with EMGs and a hardtail it’s everything you could ever want from a super Strat !
Ola WTF Man did I miss your unveiling of the most under rated guitarist in the history of Metals new signature Solar guitar. I should have known that in the sea of UA-camrs. Once again you are a true afficiando and top embassador of Metal. All hail! The Solar Tom T. Coroner model. !!!
I just ordered a jb/ jazz set because I wasn't sure what I wanted to put in a cheap guitar. Can't go wrong with malaria classic. I put a 24v in my emg 81.
Dude! My Irish Wolfhound used to run around my house like Pix. He was 170 pounds. Imagine a very grey Tasmanian Devil with furniture flying everywhere. I miss those days.
so glad they're both Floyds. lovin' Floyds. the red isn't as pronounced as your Candy Apple Red X. is it meant to be sharper in the image? also, LOVING that EMG sound. just got EMGs for my bass and it sounds awesome, wanna put some in guitars one day.
Awesome guitars, ola 😎🤘🏻🎸 the Jackson and charvel guitars sound pretty killer. And I see you got a doggie 🐶 I got a dog too. Anywho, I do like Jackson guitars and basses. Phenomenal instruments
Hey Ola , did you ever review the Charvel worn guitar? Just wondering, I try to keep up with all your content. I had the Charvel DK 24 hh. It had a Seymour Duncan full shred and did not like that but the playability of the Charvel speed necks are awesome.
When Ola took the first case outta the box, could be a new segment called, "Ola Breaking Shit" LOL! Just glad Pix the happiest pup in the world is alright.
Pickups absolutely make a difference, but that difference is dwarfed in comparison to the cabinet you use and the mic position is Glenn’s point, and he’s right. I cannot stand they guy but he’s correct there.
Glenn's point is more that pickups make minimal difference compared to the speaker you use. If you want to change or improve your tone the speakers should be your first investment because it will make the most difference out of anything in your chain, especially in a band or recording situation
These bigger brands have no choice now to use SS frets for what they charge for a guitar , especially when you have budget guitars selling for $200 using them. These small mostly unknown brands have forced the big boys to up their game and that's a good thing IMO!
…I Love the way you respect and show what you love about other guitars, considering that you have your own guitar line…..You aren’t a ‘hater.’…..Love that!…..Rock on, Ola!…..🤘🔥🤘…
love that it comes with EMGs; they get a little less love on new guitars nowadays sadly
Not sure why that is, I get EMG’s 81/85’s put on all my guitars whether they’re 6 strings or 7’s! They make the guitars sound God Size.
Cheers! 🤘🏽
Not a fan of EMGs at all. Had a Mike Kelly loaded with 81/85 set and they are so one dimensional, harsh. Not my cup of tea at all.
I can see why with Fishman fluences being so popular, but I still have a soft spot for a good emg pickup guitar
Awesome Ola! I recently demo'd the SL2MG as well and I'm loving it! I think you're really gonna dig it! And I agree, that headstock is money!🎸
I’m with you both, the headstock is just awesome, I’m flirting with getting a reversed version on a Kelly
I’ve always loved the Jackson headstock and inlays. Definitely one of my favorites
Always been a Fender Strat man but after playing a Jackson soloist w. FR I realized that’s the best strat you can have ( owned by Fender) I then added a Charvel San Dimas to the collection. The Dimarzio super Distortions are also a nice touch.
And the best thing is, Jackson finally made a HT version!
Bolt Thrower played a show in Sheboygan in 1991! Biggest pit at that place I had ever seen. Killer shirt. Looking forward to the demos!
super happy doggo
Love that cab wall with hangers
those are bad ass!
The highlight of this unboxing is.....Pix. Your doggie is do damn adorable. Oh and the Jackson looks and sounds hot too. Well done Ola!!
Glad I woke up for this. That Jackson sounds more aggressive. I really loved the demo you did on the Virtuoso, hope the same for the Soloist.
Man those are looking cool!

Totally agree about the headstock, looks so cool. To me, the most beautiful headstocks out there are those from Solar and Jackson 😍😍
That Charvel is awesome
Been a Jackson/Charvel dude for a couple decades now. Big fan of their guitars, perfect for metal. 🤘🤘
How you dare to hear the alnico... Glenn will be so pissed off 🤪I love your content man you and your lovely pix 🥰
Funny how Ola likes this comment but ignores the one asking for him to take a blind test. Pathetic.
Glenn is always pissed off.

Damn that Jackson is sick!!! And I love those cases!

Charvel guitars are dope
Thrilled to see the new Jackson USA models with EMG pups. And that there is a fixed bridge option from the get-go. My favorite from my personal collection is a fixed bridge Soloist.
Lmao, that start with Pixx was awesome. That made me laugh quite a bit.
I like the charvel and Jackson's. This Jackson is what I am waiting for. It's not the EMG but thank you Jackson for the stainless steel frets 🤘🏻
Jackson’s are fantastic to play but if you’re a stickler for the feel of a neck nothing in metal rivals charvel right now. Hands down my most comfortable guitar. Loaded with EMGs and a hardtail it’s everything you could ever want from a super Strat !
Good to see the Bolt Thrower T Shirt 🔥🤘🏻
I love Jackson guitars :)
Charvel 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wow the charvel sounds surprisingly good

Zooming with Pix, love it. I own an original, 1 pu San Dimas Jackson, soloist type from the 80's. I love it.
Just like my dog, absolutely nuts!
Can we pleeeease get a 10+ min video with you playing with Pix?😅
Can’t wait for an in depth review on that beautiful Charvel!!
I just ordered a jb/ jazz set because I wasn't sure what I wanted to put in a cheap guitar. Can't go wrong with malaria classic. I put a 24v in my emg 81.
Jackson has one company laying it down this time around 2024 is the year for jackson
Man the Charvel one is luke brural,Jackson one no comment...it is just briliant!
Such beautiful guitars Ola!!
dat orange tho..... Jackson is killin' it right now. I'm sad they didn't release a hardtail version of the orange.
that charvel is sick!
Dude! My Irish Wolfhound used to run around my house like Pix. He was 170 pounds. Imagine a very grey Tasmanian Devil with furniture flying everywhere. I miss those days.
Man, I almost got that exact same Charvel, but I bought a DK24HH instead
The Charvel looks great.
Nice Jackson.
I love Jackson guitars
so glad they're both Floyds. lovin' Floyds.
the red isn't as pronounced as your Candy Apple Red X. is it meant to be sharper in the image?
also, LOVING that EMG sound. just got EMGs for my bass and it sounds awesome, wanna put some in guitars one day.
They're both stunning!
Goodmorning everyone
Cute rabbit Ola.
Hello yes love those EMG
Ola, you always say you like alnico magnet pick ups more. So why not swap the EMG81 and 85 around in that Jackson? 85 has alnico V in it😊
Bout time U got a REAL 24 Fret Monster! lol I wish the Solars had right side up Headstocks. Rock on
Awesome guitars, ola 😎🤘🏻🎸 the Jackson and charvel guitars sound pretty killer. And I see you got a doggie 🐶 I got a dog too. Anywho, I do like Jackson guitars and basses. Phenomenal instruments
Hope solar would come up with an inlays and a gig bag.
I got the white relic charvel a couple of weeks back, worth the money
love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bolt Thrower🖤
The Jackson sounds great !
What a beautiful house you have ola
What a gorgeous doggo
Nice place by the way. Looks like a proper man cave.
Nice pad, man!

Ola dog videos need to become a thing after that intro lol.
Ola, 2 videos a week is more than enough. Take care of yourself first 👍
When Ola took the first case outta the box, could be a new segment called, "Ola Breaking Shit" LOL! Just glad Pix the happiest pup in the world is alright.
I see Hunden i press like.
Pix signature 8 string in brown and white … let’s go 👍
Blind pickup test. Glen fricker always be sayn you can’t tell a difference in pickups. What do you think/ will you do a blind test?
Pickups absolutely make a difference, but that difference is dwarfed in comparison to the cabinet you use and the mic position is Glenn’s point, and he’s right. I cannot stand they guy but he’s correct there.

@@jackflynn-oakley1937So in other words, they don’t make a difference
Basically the speaker is the best way to spend your money as far as improving your tone
Pickups make the biggest difference among all the other specs if the guitar.
I have a 20+ year old SL3 with EMGs 🤘
great guitars
Ola: That's definitely a JB. I can immediately hear the Alnico...
Fricker: (busts a blood vessel)
I just bought both those guitars...same colors and everything... lol
Ola, when you do the demo videos can you make note of the differences in neck profiles?
What an Animal!
They sent you a orange one 😂 But looks cool!
The pickups are the exact same i have in my Schecter C1+ , you can easily tell the difference between the JB and the SH....
Awesome and beautiful ❤❤
Lots of love from India 🇮🇳 ❤
Hope you actually play that Jackson soloist man if not I’ll take it 💯
Ola, any change we have some Solar guitars with a neck such as this (compound radius) or maybe flatter in the future?
Pixie =Big like❤
Those guitars gave Pix the Zoomies!
Love the necks of Charvel but both these fits well at home. 😂
Jackson is my go-to brand
The crash sound when the box fell LOL
That dog is ready man. When is the last time any of us was this ready in the early morning?
that Jackson trem, does it have replaceable knife edges and posts (do they do an edge kit with 2 posts??)
that damn dog is cute as hell Ola.
❤ Pix is a 🚀
Ayyyy its spuds Mackenzie
that dogs great
Pix is a sweetie
Cool house.
I knew it. No way Ola was just going to unbox without plugging them in and start some riffage :-D
Those sound kickarse
Wait, do you order the charvel with the jackson soft case? Because I know that Charvel relic comes with a mediocre bag...
Hot Damn! Found my next guitar!
Charvel seems to be kicking out some of the “cheapest” (in price) USA made instruments. And the colors?!!
Didn't the Soloists originally come as HSS configuration?
I really thought we were getting an 8 min vid of just Pix zoomies... I'd personally be cool with that
Finally stainless steel frets from Jackson... But the colour remains as plain as it can be.

They really did, even ESP made in Japan's started having SS frets, now, they were all nickel about a year ago or so. @@mikeg6666
The Strings are wound strange on the Jackson Headstock.....;-)
why don,t you put emg pickups on your solar guitars ?
