It's amazing how the 2.2 crank and the VE head turns the SR from sounding like a tractor to sounding like an animal. 👍

I love seeing this thing but I really wish they went into more technical detail.
We go into more detail than any channel we know of. What did we miss in the build?
@@MotiveVideo it was very rushed and lots of parts are already assembled before filming.
@@MotiveVideo would love to know what was done with the coolant lines as it seems it is very different to stock routing around the water pump/ thermostat area

Better VTEC pop than a B series right there
Is there any plans to go up to a nexus or elite series ecu for this beast for added engine safety and little bit of a weight saving
What is the added engine safety?
@@sexyfacenation the processing speed of data and resolution of maps etc is far greater in the elite and nexus than the power series. Plus with the nsp software you can isolate certain sensors or frequencies to confirm an issue. Far better than the older style. I'm definitely not saying the older style isn't good (clearly making 700+hp is no easy feat). Personally with a car at this level newer tech would give me added piece of mind that it will catch anything in time. Again, the chance of something getting through the safety is possible yes, but definitely less likely. Plus with the nexus you can add even more sensors to aid in data acquisition which means you eliminate the CAN system being inturpted if it's busy which could end up in catastrophe
Curious how reliable it is at that power, I know MCA went billet around then which solved all of their head clamping issues.
