Nice score! Do you still have your 2015+? I actually just picked up (2 days ago lol) a 62k original miles 1 owner all stock SWP hatch after getting rid of my Stage 2 2017. I'm curious to see your thoughts compared to the new one. In my eyes, its definitely not a downgrade. These cars have so much more character than the new ones. The steering is loose and the handling might not be as good but the rumble and extremely comfy seats make it a way better daily in my eyes! Its a mix between an older GD generation and the VA. Curious to see what mods you put on it. I wasted no time and just put in a Cobb short throw and im about to do the aftermarket radio + backup cam here soon.
Congrats on the new car! Super jealous of your SWP hatch, I was gonna get one, but the dude was acting sketchy I was trying to buy from. Sold the 2015, but it is still around. It’s funny, your take on the GD are exactly my feelings. The steering needs help the suspension is soft. But there is something about it that’s just “more fun/more raw”. The VAs handling totally trumps the GDs. that’s the one thing so far that I miss. Love the Cobb short throws. That’s always one of my first mods. Short shifters and bushings!
