You do excellent videos, love the music. You are one of the few vloggers that actually use this as an adventure bike. You can put dual sports tires on this and they work well for street and light off road.
6 years and 60000 miles all year all weather riding and I have replaced all wheel bearings ,steering head bearing ,front and rear discs , rear suspension ,front fork seals, exhaust clamp, battery. Might sound bad but isn't at all as its used in atrocious conditions, often with pillion and luggage and light off road too. but always starts, gets av 80mpg and runs as well or better than new, and as far as I can tell uses no oil between services and I gave up checking water level apart from when doing valve checks.. A relatively easy bike to work on by a long shot too. Another huge plus is how forgiving it is when you have a low speed spill in that other than a bent gear or brake lever , odds on you will be able to pick it up and ride on .
peter lewis Same here.... 2013 model with now 80000km. Still have first discs, still in specs but getting to their limits...... Also changed wheel bearings and just a week ago steering stem bearing. Fork seals as well. Still first clutch. Changed the upholstery of the seat to eliminate the front slope. Had to change oil pan since I damaged it on bad roads, luckily close to my house..... I also had to replace rear shock since it started leaking oil. Bike is absolutely awesome and by many unfortunately unappreciated. Safe rides and travels 👍🏍😊
Thanks for the info. Should I work up too a motorcycle this is the info iam looking for. Basically normal expected mabtance items from what your describing. And lam looking for a motorcyle that basically will perform daily miracles like the 2013 honda pcx I have now with 42,000 miles same basics . Think these may be it.
Previously owned a vfr800 and I understand that they’re tagged with reliability now I have the nc700x and it’s definitely a superior bike to the vfr800 in reliability comfort and mpg, I miss the power of the vfr800 but not the service or repair bills and I find the nc is a great all rounder easy to diy service just turn the key and go anywhere anytime without any hitches .
2 years and 36000 miles. Got it as my first bike when I was 19. Now I'm 21. Pros Really good beginner friendly bike Able to have a great time Economical Reliable (literally only changed engine oil and tires a few times) Storage Passenger comfort Cons Engine might get boring and after riding it for 2 years/36k miles, I'm definitely bored of it. No top end so don't expect to twist your wrist and get goosebumps cus all you'll hear is bike getting upset Peg scraping No sound
Really nice quality clips- what drone are you using? Still on the fence with Versys 650 or this bike and not waiting for yamaha to figure out if they are going to bring the tracer stateside- Thanks to your vids- I believe I am now leaning towards the red.....great vids keep em coming
chas sisom 1k milles may not seem like alot. That was 1,000miles in the summer only. Is winter time now and the bike is winterized. I have only put 1,370 miles total since i bought it in March. 1500k will be the yearly average here in the north.
Sorry , DIdn't mean to sound like a jerk. Every year my K1200LT gets heavier and more difficult to manhandle around the streets. As it's approaching 100K and I get older I'm looking into smaller road bikes. Those NC700 models look good and the reviews have been favorable. I ride 10 to 15K miles each year in all weather and seasons. I'm hoping to find some 50k plus reviews
chas sisom i did not take you as a yerk at all. I apologize if my reply made you think so. I would love to own a gs1200 one day, but for the price, practicality and ease of riding you cant go wrong with the nc700x. I winterized it two weeks ago and i allready miss ridding it. I will NEVER EVER trade it in or sell it. Is a special bike that does it all. Doesnt exeed at it but it will do it. And this is coming from someone who owned a 01 cbr929. Im sure that with the propper maintainence (the little that there is) i will take it well above 100k(maybe). But i will definitively hand it off the my children which i dont have at the moment. Go for it. Is not a slow bike. It feels like an iconic bike. Its great!

I'm guessing you haven't seen my latest video.

I agree. A part of me misses the nc700x for the ease of use. I never worried about it.
Have the same bike.. 3 years... No problems.
Nicely done videos on your channel, mate :-) Hopefully picking one of these up next week.
G-DOGG - Cool Adventures don't hesitant, great bike.
Got it now and you're not wrong, probably the best bike I've ever ridden and that's after years of fireblades, hayabusas and r1's.
1,000 Miles and nothing wrong... not really a high bar. ;) Glad you're liking the bike. Looking into one myself. Thanks for sharing.
1k miles is a lot for a motorcycle especially in the northern states. Best case scenario we get 5 good months to ride per year.
@@adventurehobbies1272 ah no man, im from WI and put on over 8k a year. get out more. 1000 miles is nothing. most bikes can do over 100,000 these days

Oh, and by the way, I would really like to know what the closing music is. I like that a lot.
What exhaust does it have? Sounds Good.
Some great photo effects.
please ditch the hideous music, otherwise excellent
where is this place?
Why would I ride through a field?
Where ever that is by the stream, I want to camp there!
That was your report? ha ha very funny -
A whole 1000 miles. wow!

Best way to put it..the
k1200lt is a Merc SL550
Nc700x is a Miata or s2000
And there is nothing wrong with that.
How do u winterize it ?
Its a Honda you wont have no problems
That don't look fun off road at least on that machine too heavy
