The thing I dig about it is that it's tasteful. You get the aggressive V8 sound without being that guy that wakes up the neighborhood. It's the perfect balance.
Brooo that's the perfect way to describe it
@@treydkicks thank you sir and thank you for the content. Keep up the good work!
4:10 is when the sound comparison is made.
Just had a super 44 installed on my '22. Had them remove the resonators and added 5" tips. Love the sound.
Very nice... I still have my resonators on but I did add some 6 inch tips.. gives a whole new look. Appreciate you watching
I am looking to repair my rusted exhaust, 5.7 hemi and this video came up in the search engine. I clicked. The recorded sound helped in my understanding. Thanks for making the reference. Cheers!
You got it man thanks for watching. I am a sneaker youtuber but this is still my best and most watched video. Thanks for watching hope it turns out well.
I think I’m leaning in the same direction. That 44 sounds great
Getting the Flowmaster super 10 and leaving the resonators on. Respect bro for this video! Love the comparison to the stock which is what I was looking for. Love the sound on your truck too!
I love the flowmaster sound I used to own a 1999 dodge ram 1500 with a 5.2l (318) and I put true dual flowmaster super 10 series under that truck and I loved it !!!! 😁😁😁😁
Mannn I know that truck sounded like a beast.. I love everything about this flowmaster.. everytime I start the truck up I fall in love again
I'm putting mine on as soon as they arrive! That sold it for me even though a video doesn't give you that actual real sound but what a difference I heard so thanks man you sold me on the 44s. Thanks!!!
Mannnn I really appreciate that. Thanks for watching and you won't be sorry I have had them on for about 4 or 5 years now and I love every time I start my truck up.
98% of people don’t get the “they 10’s but I keep them clean” reference lmfao #NextFriday
Hahaha
Maybe they get it Next Friday

I got a 2019 ram 1500 crew cab and i put the Flowmaster super 44 on mine and I LOVE IT! i left the Resonators on and it sounds good. Deep sound that's not overpowering
I fall in love with the sound every time i turn the truck on man.. I know you are loving it just like me.. I left my resonators on as well. That 2019 Ram is AMAZING!! thanks for watching
I put a 40 with no resonator on my 04 Rumblebee, what a difference it made! I lost quite a lot of weight taking that huge can muffler and resonator out. The older one's like mine do sound different with the resonator out. A plus, more HP and better fuel economy too...
I still need to look into taking the resonators off.. I never thought about it till everyone started commenting about it on this video. But I know your truck is sounding good bro
Just had the super 44 put on my 2015 Ram today. Glad I did, the truck sounds great.
Mannn thats great.. I know you loving it.. I love it more and more every time I start the truck up
I'm most definitely getting Flowmaster for my 5.7 Hemi
You wont be sorry man.. I love it everytime I start it up.. thanks for watching
I have the same exact truck, color and all. My first Ram truck, and am very happy with it. It's a 2014 with 26,000 miles, just got it 2 months ago. Been thinking about exhaust, but like the quiet rumble.
I hear you. I have to admit the hemi sounded ok without the flowmasters I just needed a little something extra and it was cheap to do. Next I will put in the K&N intake. See if that makes a difference. Thanks for watching
Trey D Kicks skip the K&N and get the S&B intake instead.. it’s a way better design imo
@@rdubv34 word?? Ok cool i will for sure look into that.. appreciate the tip
Best exhaust vid I wanted to get flow master super 44s on my truck but I’m sold now
Just got this installed today on my 2014 Ram 1500 Hemi with the 5" chrome diesel tips. Looks amazing and the sound is very throaty thru low rpms.. but not obnoxiously loud. Punched the gas and wow! Great sound and the drone isn't overbearing. I also have a K&N CAI installed and the combination of that and the Flowmaster produced performance and the sound I was looking for. Thanks Trey for the vid. Helped me decide on the set-up I was looking for. +++
That sound is it.
That's what I'm looking for.
Thank you
Yoo I'm late but thank you for watching. Hope you got your Flowmasters
I went with the Flowmaster outlaw for my 2015. Did the switch myself. Took me about an hour total. Love the sound
Mannnn I know it sounds amazing.. I had to think about my neighbors lol.. and you saved some money by doing it on your own... nice.. appreciate you watching
I just put the Flow master 40 on mine with the Resonator still on it sounds fantastic, no Dronning in the cab at all.
Thats what I like to hear for real. People keep telling me to take my resonators off. I think it sounds great with them still on. Thanks for watching
@Trey D Kicks Taking the Resinators will make it louder, but in the inside of the Truck you get Major Droaning that would drive you crazy
Yes sir my friend that record button will get you every time can't beat that flow master sound
Hahaha right
I love my 2018 F-150 3.5 EB but I do love the sound of that Hemi. Stock and with the Flowmaster! Good choice imo
Appreciate you watching. I had a f150 before and had flowmasters installed. I loved the sound back then as well.
Thank you for a great video. I enjoyed the comparison between the two. I have a '19 Ram Limited Hemi and I was leaning towards the 40 series until I viewed your video. I love the Super 44, thanks to your video. Kudos!
I appreciate it man thanks for watching.. comments like this make me want to start my channel back up again. Hope you enjoy the flow master's I love it every time I start up the truck
I did the same exact setup on my 2013 RAM. Super happy and I love the way the truck roars when you gun it
Mannn I'm still in love with mine.. I love it everytime I start it up.. that cold start sounds amazing.. thanks for watching man
How is it on start up ? Is it loud like waking your neighbors loud ? I got a good idea but I gotta ask
I love my 40 series on RAM 5.7 hemi! RUNNING 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽nice truck brother
Appreciate you watching fam... truck still sounds great
I wanted the flowmaster 40 but went with super 44 instead. Sounds great and very excellent choice 👍
Yo appreciate it. Thank you for watching . I still live when the truck starts up
Ayyeee brodie thank you so much for posting this vid and going on depth on the comparison. Bout to get the Super 44 with 5" tips installed on my 2019 Ram Laramie. Your video was very helpful in making my decision! Blessings 🙌
Yooo appreciate you watching foe real I didn't think people still watched this video I have done so much to the truck since this. I still love my flowmasters man.. hope you love them as much as I do thanks again for watching
@treydkicks yessirrrrr just got my Super 44 installed today. Sounds so much better. Imma need to tame myself from steppin on the gas too much. These CA gas prices are crazy bruh haha Cheers!
Nice... I got RAM 2014 5.7 HEMI, I think I found my next purchase 💪🏽👍🏼
Nice.. man I still love everytime I hear the cold start. Thanks for watching
Flowmasters super 44 series. Y'all didn't hear baby on I-35.
Ginger sounded like NASCAR.
I'm not into sneaks but I love truck's. I'd love to see truck content from a brother's prospective.
Now let's go !
Thanks.
Yea I’m sold bro. I’m definitely about to switch my stock out. Shit sound dope af.
Man..everytime I start the truck up I fall in love all over again.. appreciate you watching
I did a muffler delete on my ram 1500 and I'm very happy with it and cost less than buying a muffler.
That's what's up man.. I'm really thinking about doing a muffler delete on the car.
A HUGE thanks for taking the time to make the vid. After seeing your comparison, I'm loving the sound of the FlowMaster's. My 04 Ram has been a GRAT truck and still looks new. After being babied for 125K, the factory pipe from the cat back finally rusted through, so it's time to go gonzo with true duals. Ebay has the whole kit to convert factory single exhaust to stainless duals (including the muffler and tips) for $189. Don't think I can go wrong. Thanks again, man!
Man that sounds like a really good deal.. glad you liked the vid.. I wish I would have captured from a cold start the sound was much better.. i plan on keeping this truck for the long haul just like you.. you did baby it if you only got 125 and it's an 04.. glad i could help out a little.. thanks for watching
Sounds real nice bro... I think I'm going to get one for my 1500..Your vid really help..Thanks
Hey thanks for watching man.. I really love the sound. I love everytime i get in the truck and start it up. You wont be sorry bro. Thanks again for stopping thru.
Thank you for helping me make my decision
Nice. Hope you love the flowmasters as much as I still do.. thanks for watching
I have a 2015 Ram 1500 with a 5.7 Hemi I put the Flowmaster Super 10 it's a lot louder but I like loud and it sounds great and in a couple months I'm putting long tube headers on it so it should sound even better and I have a cold air intake already installed
Mannn!! Super 10's I know thats loud. I know my neighbors would be calling the HOA's on me every chance they get lol.. But I know its going to sound even better when you put the headers on there.. Thats going to be a great mod.. Appreciate you stopping thru man!
Cold air will be my next project on here.. At least I can do that myself lol!
@@treydkicks after I installed the headers I'm going to go down and have it tuned so everything works properly and once the truck is paid off I plan on upgrading the cam yeah these are awesome trucks to have a Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi they're just fun trucks and you can do all kinds of mods on them
@@raimey2929 you got a lot in store for your truck.. lol my truck payments get in the way of everything I want to do to my truck too lol.. I plan on lifting it and putting some off road tires and wheels on as well.. little by little over here. I love the ram I'm going to keep it till the wheels fall off
On my Ram 13 wth k&N intake, 87mm Moes Throttle body, jba long tube headers, jba y-pipe, cat delete, resonator delete, and super 44 outlaw. I would say its too loud!
And if anyone is wondering, according to the dyno vs stock I made an extra 35hp/ torque on 93octane. I sure it has more in it though.
I live in Indianapolis. Its like 9 degrees today. Ive noticed my exhaust sounds louder in the cold. I cant wait to get the flowmaster installed!
Good vid I went with the Outlaw flowmaster direct fit that hemi wakes up
Loving it Neighbor's probably hating it
Remote start at 6am
🤣🤣🤣 that's the main reason I didnt do the outlaw.. I go to the gym at 4am.. didnt want HOA's at my front door lol. Thanks for watching
Thats what i have on mine!

Sounds great man! I had an '01 Ram with flowmaster and str8 pipes. Sounded so sweet. I plan to do the same with my 2020. Scab the resonators for sure.
Sounds way better than the stock muffler. Just had Flowmaster 50 Series HD installed on my 2011 Silverado and love it. Good video.
Man I know that 50 series sounds good bro.. really appreciate you watching bro.
Nope Super 44 series flowmaster. All day. Got mine done people love it.
Because of your video, I have decided to go the same route as you on my 2017 Rebel. Great job showing the differences between stock and the super 44.
Derek Saunders thats awesome man.. I really appreciate you watching and glad i could help out. Really makes me glad i did this vid when i get comments like yours..
Great comparison video thanks for taking the time to make it!
Yo really appreciate you watching. I didn't think anyone was still watching this video.
I have a 13 Laramie & I'm DEFINITELY throwing the flow master on it!
You won't be sorry. I love every time I start up my truck.
Dodge has always sounded pretty good with the super 44 or the classic 40 if you want it a bit louder.
Back when I first got my Ram I just done a muffler delete, kept the resonators and it sounds very similar to your truck. It was only $50.
I didnt even think about a delete before I started this whole thing. That's not a bad idea at all. I paid 150.00 for everything so you for sure got the better deal
No chk engine light?
@@willg.5168 nope not at all.. was an easy install.
@@treydkicks Great to hear bro👍
Flowmasters are perfect. Just enough muscle but not obnoxious inside the cab or out.
Got the 40 series on my 2012 and it sounds amazing. I def love it
I need it to sound like I'm taking my kids to MMA lessons. Well said. lol
haha appreciate it.. it was the best i could come up with at the time lol. thanks for watching
THE FLOWMASTER DOMINATOR PUTS OUT THE VERY BEST SOUND WITH A 5.7L HEMI..
My 98 Ram 1500 5.2L (318 ci) has a DynoMax Magnaflow Stainless Steel muffler with no baffles, and it's way louder than both of those pipes.
I still live in a quiet neighborhood lol.. I needed something that was loud but still wouldn't have the HOA on my ass... appreciate you watching
Great video, sounds awesome, love the comparisons, I've been watching videos for a couple of days now, i know this is an older video, but it really helped me to make my decision, everyone wants to run with no resonators and a very loud annoying sound, i live in a retirement community and this set up would be perfect for me, i have a 5.7 hemi 300, and i think thats going to be great on it, i dont have to leave out early mornings, so that's going to work, thanks for your time and efforts.
You can get a little louder sound if you have the resonators after the mufflers removed
Yeah I have heard that a few times. I have neighbors tho lol.. I dont want to mess up any friendships lol
So helpful for me! Definitely going with the super 44 for my r/t hemi charger ❤❤❤
Yo really appreciate you watching. The charger is going to sound great doe real
On the closed caption, when the Super 44 was revving it stated it was music playing, can’t argue with that 😍🤫
Thx for video, looking at super 44 myself
Yooo appreciate you watching. Till this day my flowmasters still sound amazing.
I got a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado I all of super 44 Delta flow Flowmaster I want to install it this weekend after Christmas
Mannn you are going to love it.. you will feel like you got a new truck!!
Man I just bought a 2016 ram blacked out editon. It was between a Laramie 2016 and the regular ram. The Laramie had 78k miles the blacked out crew with the larger doors 25k. For the same price. I wanted the laramie lol but the blacked out one made more sense because of the miles and crew doors for the same amount. And it looks sick all black. Getting the 44 flowmaster series today!
Totally agree! I just purchased a 2018 Ram 1500 blacked out package and added the Flowmaster 44 series to it and changed out the chrome tips for black matte finish tips. SICK!!!! Love my truck.
I love that sound. Your video certainly helped.me make my mind up! Thank you!
Nice.. really appreciate you watching. Till this day the truck still sounds amazing
Sounds great. Im looking to upgrade my muffler too and now that I heard your video i may go with the FM S44. Thanks
Thank you! Solid comparison video.
I got the super 10. I really like the sound. I believe its sound great on yours as well
Appreciate it man.. i know that super 10 sounds great.. i didnt want to upset the neighbors too much lol
I'm not into all these American trucks and flowmasters but damn that sounds good
Appreciate that for real.. that saying something when you get someone that's not into like I am.. thanks for watching
I did the Flowmaster ‘American Thunder’ Super 50 direct-fit on my truck. Sounds similar; I love it.
Hey, have you ever looked at the Y pipe, where the separate exhaust banks come together? Look at how they squeezed the 2 pipes together, to get them into the 3” pipe. Seemed really Mickey-Mouse to me, so I had the shop cut it out and put in a proper Y pipe. Gives me more low end, and opens up the exhaust note even more!
Mannn sounds like you really know your stuff.. I was just learning about the X pipe but never even thought about the Y.. I know that american Thunder sounds good man.. I may look at doing a delete soon as well.. But for now I need to do the intake. Appreciate you watching!
I just sold my FJ cruiser with super 44 after using Dataflow for 2 years, and now I am planning for RAM 1500 and it will be with super 44.
Magnaflow has a deeper tone, but it charges after 6 months of use, on the other side, flowmaster will last forever as it built with plates technology 👍
I have heard that about magnaflow. I hear people say it gets a little louder over time.. some say it's not as loud.. I dont know who to believe so i went with good old flowmaster lol
@@treydkicks
You won't regret it
Thanks for the video I’ll be buying one ☝️ for my 2019 RAM 🐏 love that sound of the flow master much better than the stock muffler.
Appreciate that man.. I love it every time I start it up. You wont be sorry with the purchase
Same here! Picking one up soon.
Great video. Attn public; added suggestion. When u decide to check out this great comparison video, u should bluetooth your phone to car or home stereo to grab/absorb the best audio for your decision. I do know this public, that stock stuff stands! Lol
Thanks for watching lol and appreciate the tip on the Bluetooth lol. I didn't think anyone still watched this video.
The flowmaster outlaw is the way to go. It's a direct bolt on no cutting or welding. Has a great sound.
Mannn I knew I would want it but i knew it would be too loud. Lol I was trying to be considerate of the neighbors lol. Thanks for watching
great & helpful video, pal ! I have an XJ 4.0 with a 2.25 exhaust diameter which certainly will be having a different tone with a FM S44 installed compared with your Dodge RAM - however, the deep growling & a tad aggressive exhaust note will also be noticeable outside and inside the cab !
There you go thats what I'm talking about love the sound the FM has I really appreciate you watching didn't think anyone really watched this video anymore
Ag... I made my own... Took out all the mufflers on my Volvo 850 2.3 T5... And replaced it with normal tubing... Much better... I even had to tubing in my garrage at home...
Mannn that sounds like task.. but I know the results are amazing.. how long did it take you?
Sounds pretty good. Has a nice growl, I have a ram 4.7 with a magnaflow and cold air intake. Very happy with the sound it makes at low rpm and love mashing the throttle on it
All I have to say after that most honest intro... My nigga!
Truth: dodge puts that 5.7 HEMI out sounding like a rental car
No more wolf in sheep's clothing let's get these HEMI'S sounding right!
Ordering my super 44 on eBay now! Thanks from flint Michigan
Sounds beefy! 💪🏾💪🏾 Glad you got what you were looking for
Frank Bryant whats good cuzzo.. yeah man i love it... appreciate you comin thru
Should have gone with the super 10 series. I love the way they sound. Had them on my Hemi Durango and now on my ‘19 Ram 1500 Hemi.
Haha I have to be somewhat considerate to my neighbors
Trey D Kicks super 10’s are way too loud
Sounds much better. All that is left is get rid of those rear resonators and weld on some 4”x15” tips and you will get the full flowmaster sound. I put flowmasters on every vehicle I’ve owned. LoL I even put a 40 series on my Mazda MPV van. Surprisingly it sounded really good. Only one time I put a Trush welded muffler on my 5.7 JGC.
Mann so many people have told me to do take them off.. I am really considering doing it.. every truck I have owned I have put flowmasters on as well.. thanks for watching
Trey D Kicks yeah just get some nice tips 12 to 15” long.
Such an improvement over the stock exhaust! You have good taste😁🤜🤛👍👍
I really appreciate it. I love it everytime I start it up.. for sure turns heads
I still personally prefer the sound of the Flowmaster Outlaw kit, but this sounds pretty sick too. Nothing wrong with that!
Nate i seriously thought about the outlaw but got talked out of it..people saying it was just way too loud.. i figured this would be a happy medium.. thanks for watching.
I have the outlaw series on my 17 Ram Rebel & it sounds like a beast! Not too loud in the slightest. Just a note for your next mod!
haha mannnn i was so nervous to get that outlaw that i didnt even check the sounds on it because everyone just said it was too loud.. Thanks for the info bro.. Im for sure going to look into it now. I know that Rebel was a beast to begin with now i bet its a Monster!!!
Being a 4 door model you wont be bad on the noise as the kit is designed for the longer wheel base. I had to have mine cut down almost 4 feet and custom fit due to the fact that my ram is a reg cab (and flowmaster doesn't make the outlaw for reg cabs :( ) That said, mine is pretty loud and obnoxious but still just barely under the legal db limit where I live.
@@natev580 man thats just above the legal limit is awesome bro.. i saw that the outlaw is super short i didnt know if thet would have to add or not..
I like the deeper tone .... great video . Been questioning what to get myself.
Sounds beautiful.
I like the way this video was done
Appreciate that. Thanks for watching.
same muffler on my 14 ram k&n cold air intake and superchips tuned to 93 octane performance...shes a beast....
Mannn sounds like it.. can you tell the difference with that super chip???
@@treydkicks Absolutely about a 40 horse gain and 70 ftlbs torque. According to the Dyno.
I got the flashpaq f5 tuner. And was worth every penny. Was Worth the money just to disable the mds in my honest opinion...
Mannnn I know you are loving that... nice I may look into that
I have the same mufflers on my 99Tahoe I had the magnaflow mufflers and put the super 44 series on true duals.
Thanks for the info. I'm convinced. I was searching for the right Flowmaster muffler for my Chevy pickup with 5.7 liter 350. Looks like I'm getting the Super 44. Thanks again. Keep up the good work!!! P.S. Nice kicks
Nice!!! Glad I could help out.. wish I would have got the cold start recorded but my dumb ass didnt hit the record button smh.. you will love the 44's I still love it every time I start the truck.. thanks for watching and thanks for noticing the kicks lol
Sounds way better than stock, been looking at options myself this a strong contender. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for this Trey. I was looking for a good video on this. Ya sold me.
I appreciate that Matt.. I just wanted something to compare.. wish i would have got the cold start on camera but you wont be sorry of you go with the flow masters imo.. thanks for watching
Sounds bad ass just got a 2012 got to get flows now
based on the sound of the audio and if that is what Flowmaster sounds like with 5.7. I am not going with that sound. it for some reason sound's like its stock but not. I would go more Magna Flow or Flowmaster 2 chamber 10 series.
Super helpful! Nice truck as well
Appreciate it. Thanks for watching
Nice video bro, you just made my choice easy. Sounds great!
Nice.. glad I could help fam. Thanks for watching

@@treydkicks I had the super 10 installed on my 2010 Ram 1500 Hemi
I recently had the Super 10 Outlaw system installed on my 2018 Tundra 5.7 Ltr and I love it
Flowmaster gives the most "muscular" exhaust sound you can get. If you don't care much about in cab noise, get the super 10. I had one on my truck for over a year and it sounded amazing. Made my truck sound like the monster it is. Not to mention the increased mpg and horsepower I got
Mannn!! i was scared to get the outlaw.. Thought it would be way too loud in this neighborhood.. Also didnt think you would get any HP gain off it.. Flowmaster is for sure the way to go.. Glad I did it now i need to put in an intake!! Thanks for watching!!
@@treydkicks The super 10 is 1 step down from the outlaw. The outlaw is basically a straight pipe with a few little baffles in it to refine the tone. It is probably illegal in a lot of places for being over the sound ordinance. The super 10 is louder than the super 44, but not as loud as the outlaw. You will gain hp anytime you help the engine more efficient. The faster/easier you get it in(air), the faster you get it out, the better it will run. The stock muffler on any vehicle is way too restrictive and hurts more than helps. An intake will help get that air in easier so that will also increase hp a little
@@theprfectionistrocks5081 I will for sure get the intake.. and I honestly thought with all the baffles in the muffler I wasnt going to get any extra HP.. I'm not sure if the outlaw is illegal out here but I didnt want to take the chance.
@@treydkicks That's the only reason I won't get the outlaw. Flowmaster does have a product called the outlaw series exhaust kit. I feel like it is a little misleading because it has the super 10 in the kit and not the outlaw muffler. It is a direct fit kit for the vehicle. You will pretty much gain hp with any aftermarket exhaust because of how restrictive the stock ones are, just the amount of hp gain has to do with what muffler you put on. Flowmaster just does it the best.
Hate to tell ya but a baffled muffler doesnt increase HP. Straight through mufflers are the only way to go.
going to get the flowmaster American thunder for my new Ram Limited. Nice review and sounds awesome..
They 10’s but I keep them clean🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 yo I lost it when you said that
hahaha not too many people get that reference. Appreciate you watching!
I’m glad you didn’t go with the magnaflow they’re too quiet and the super 40 which I had and sounded great but wasnt loud enough for me after 2 yrs of owning my ram so I switched to the super 10. The super 44 has a better sound (deeper and a little louder) but the super 10 just screams 🤟🏽
Mannn I know that super 10 is going to sound amazing.. I didnt go with the magnaflow just for that reason.. it sounded like a louder stock muffler. Hope that super 10 is everything you hoped it would be. Thanks for watching
Trey D Kicks exactly! Loving my super 10 maybe look into getting one on your truck lmao welcome to the RAM FAM bro!
Sounds good. Getting the same one installed tomorrow on my 19 Rebel.

Trey D kicks. I have the flowmaster super 44 on my 2011 Chevrolet Silverado. Man its going to get louder as time goes by. I absolutely love the sound of my truck now. Infact, my truck sounds soo muscular and loud that I can't keep my wife out of my truck. She rather drive my truck over her Chrysler 300. Awesome video and sweet Ram.
Mannn thats awesome to hear. I didnt know how it would sound over time but glad its not getting any softer lol. Sounds like you got a down ass wife man.. Appreciate you watching man.
It's a chambered muffler there is no packing to burn out sound will never change.
Muffler deleate sounds the best. I had flowmaster 40 in my 91 Stang. That's were they sound best. Check out the muffler deleate videos, can't beat the sound
I never even thought about a muffler delete at all until after this vid and people were telling me that it was an option. I still love the Supper 44s every time i start the truck up.
Sounds way better, I went with the Magnaflow about a couple years ago and still sounds great, very similar, that nice low growl👊🏻
Appreciate it man.. thanks for watching.. I almost went with magnaflow myself...

Any drone I got the delta 40 has a little 4 cylinder drone because it drops cylinders but will be getting it programmed on getting a range disabler
For sure a done but honestly I dont even hear it anymore. I'm so use to it now. Mine shuts down to 4 as well.
