Fantastic performance by Gloucester, I thought pre game La Rochelle would be too strong for them but they really gave them a scare. Fantastic game
🤣 Skelton at 4:10 he said "bro leave me alone"
Jesus Gloucester gave La Rochelle some game
@@WelahMan thought they had them for a few minutes
I am a Christian and waht exactly has my friend Jesus got to do with this ?
@@jallancam5503 Jesus is often said as in meant of shock, or surprising, or something is bad,
@@Mayoman1233 thanks mate Yes sadly the name of te Son of God for many has been reduced to an exclamation mark or a sware word..For the Christian its still a sacred name
Magnifique from Gloucester. Best wishes to La Rochelle in the next round
For me, at least a this point, this is the match of the round! So entertaining, so funny ro watch and epic!
Great tries ~ what a most enjoyable spectacle of skilled and polished entertainment…WOW⁉️⁉️💯🔥👊
Unlucky Gloucester! Great performance and effort away at the champions.
Gloucester left it all on the pitch, great game
Respect Gloucester ... So brave.
Class
Congrats to Gloucester for providing a fantastic spectacle. Too bad the draw was tough. I never thought the result would be decided in the last minutes.
Gloucester bottled that by taking 3 when they should have went to the corner. You knew La Rochelle were gonna come back and win.
Exactly. If it had taken them 8 points clear then great, but within a score? No.
Easy to say with hindsight.
I agree. They were a man down gotta put it in the corner
Billy at 10 for England

GLOUCESTER GOSUMP👍
That was a red card all day! That's a potential Career ending tackle!!! Adamson ruins yet another result!
1:05 wtf is skelton doing there!?! he obstructing and then just diving onto the ruck...
That roll should have been a red
If he had grabbed the head maybe. As far as I know. Crocodile rolls are still allowed
Nothing wrong with it, jackal player in a bad position.
Yep. Crocodile rolls are illegal. The law was changed after Jack Willis suffered the same exact injury. Red all day and a citing.
Clear outs need to be straight on.
@@ashatron656 illegal doesn't mean a red. A yellow was the right call imo. You still see it in every game and refs have different interpretation. If he had gone around the head definity
@@RegrettableSpursFan the heffer deliberately rolled his weight onto his knee joint. Red all day long and smack to go with it
🇨🇵🇨🇵🇨🇵🇨🇵🇨🇵
What a braindead clear out by the lá rochelle player, stuff like that is a potential career ending injury
Dan Leavy's career ended the same way
@@kevmckenzie19 yep, what a player aswell
Please cite the law that was contravened. He just did a legitimate clearout. Not even a neck roll.
@@Loosehead if you listen ref said something about putting weight on a lower limb
@@fionncreedon5470 so if you tackle round the legs is this not putting weight on a lower limb, ref bottled it.
sur le premier essai anglais il y a une obstruction flagrante sur un défenseur
That first try was American Football than Rugby. Clear as day penalty
Très beau match !! 2 belles équipes et un juste arbitrage...
Mike adamson not taking center stage
On vous a bien manger les rosbeefs 😂🇨🇵
I thinks its harsh to say the ref got the yellow wrong. yes it should be a red but in the current laws its not. the law needs changing asap to protect the players
Possible knock on at the death could have won Gloucester the game if looked at. Nevertheless, they should be proud in their courageous efforts
No not really. A knock-on when the clock is in the red is not played. Ref ends the match. Laws.
As a neutral fan, I think Billy twelvetrees has to shoulder about 90% of the blame here. His decision to kick a penalty goal 9 minutes from time when Gloucester were a man up and had been getting the better of the lineouts was bizarre at best. A more courageous fly half would have put it in the corner and backed his forwards. Good game from twelve trees apart from that but he lost his team the game so he can't get any credit.
Not fair really although he did miss a few kicks!
I mean i agree that glos should have gone for the corner at that particular moment but you cant blame billy t. Captains choice to go for 3
@@youradosser5702 my bad I thought Billy t was capt, who was capt?
@@d.jparer5184 its always ludlow. I do think its a different result if we put the pressure on them
@@youradosser5702 agree, apologies to twelvetrees if he reads this then but yeah, that decision killed you.
Not sure why it’s a yellow card he does hit the head! The injury is horrible but that’s rugby in my opinion unluckily placement
Unlucky Gloucs.Chris Harris is what England need at outside centre
Gloucster should have gone for a try at the end not a penalty .... costly decision..
Lo
He's got his Skates on ..
Prepare for a roar of Atlantic scale ? How many stupid Phrases does this ccommodator have 😢😢😢
why cant refs make the right decision
Should have been a red card for that clearout we have to get stuff like that out of the game because it's potentially career ending, weak officiating.
lrz is like a headless chicken when turned in defence or high balls
dirty tackler
What did the 18 do that was contrary to the laws? Someone got injured, but that makes no difference.
It’s a crocodile roll. Banned by world rugby as its twisting a player which can and does result in horrific injuries.
@@iplaygamessowhat3249 I did not know it had been banned.
@@Loosehead tbf its a recent thing, it used to be legal, but as you can see, its so grim when it recklessly done. i think a massive issue with it is that he is not attempting to stay on his feet to clear him out aswell, which happened all game long
Ref here, it was written explicitly into the laws before the start of this season under foul play (law 9.20.d if anyone wants to check, globally trialed over the 21-22 season): "A player may lever the jackler out of the contest at the ruck but must not drop their weight onto them or target the lower limbs."
So 'crocodile rolls' (as others here are calling them) are technically still legal if he cleanly 'levers' him out of the ruck - it's the contact to the supporting leg which is illegal - so rightly punished. Colour of the card is open for debate though, as exact sanctions are liable to directives by IRB and national unions / referee bodies.
My entry point would be a yellow for this type of incident as it seemed unintentional (18 not looking at the knee, but still lost control of his own body), I'd reserve red for direct targeting of the knee with force. Injury severity doesn't (or at least shouldn't) factor in to sanction or card choice.
Yellow card was BS, he took the body, will it be that if the player as his legs splayed you cannot tackle? This was not like the Aus tackle where he deliberately took the leg.
You cant claim anything when you play with a pink jersey. Come on.
That yellow is soft as fuck.... you have to ask the question if you've lost the battle there you croc roll get a yellow... clear him out risk hitting head for a red
