Love watching your videos man truly makes me keep up on my own projects and always seeing you find ways past all the hang ups in your builds is awesome, keep it up migs
Not changing the intake routes was a mistake, you’ll know it’s too lean when it blows up. Not worth the risk imo. Your welding is wayyyyyyyyyyy better than before!!!!
Great build and looks like you are leading well. Just noticed around 8:28 the lower straps of your respirator are not done up and are dangling around your neck with out them closed you won’t get a face seal and as you say in the video the fumes will get in under your BA. love the project and how enthusiastic you are
Second on taking a peek at Cars& Cameras- they have solved several of the problems you are having with the same engine/carb set up. The tight worm drive clamps are going to squeeze to pvc down an d further restrict air flow- get the carbs weight supported with a bracket and then just tighten the clamps enough to seal the pipes; the OEM set up had metal in both ends of the rubber "connectors". The shifter/ clutch is the thing- but a bicycle grip on the handle and it will help your grip, keep you away from the sharp edges and look like it was made for the purpose. I'm not much for a welder- fitting is more my thing- but practice on pieces of scrap, working on the bench to develop technique before yoou get into all the odd corners of your build will help- you are already getting better as it is. Happy Turkey Day, Good Luck on Your Exams- FR
I love the shifting/clutch set up, that is exactly how I would have done it! Also, so you don't get cut, use a bicycle grip, it will help you grip and it won't cut you. Keep it up! (Good luck with the test)
mig welding with a draft or wind will blow the schielding gas away from the weld , migt want to put an extraction fan in the barn , a couple of old kitchen extraction hood work (seen them used in a spraybooth)
Nice!!! the new carbs are perfect for that motor, I think the intake manifold is fine, just pull the plugs after 5 mins and you will know just how good it is.
Hey buddy you also may need to make a new exhaust you can use the Metal Electric conduit for it it’s cheap and easy to work with... you need a exhaust so you can get everything in tune right
You need to get the specs on the carbs and then you will know how much fuel they need great job so far. If you remember way back I said you were in over your head now look at ya badass self mech and Faber well done mugs.
what if you make a clutch lever ? I know you prolly don't have enought space for a clutch pedal, but you could do a lever sorta like an car drift brake lever, you could get soemthing like that and connect it to the clutch
Connor Sarazin nah mate, first he needs to just lay a decent bead without do any fancy shit and then once he gets that down he can start doing little c’s and make it look better
All cylinders will still have the same mixture fuel to air ratio with the two carburetor plumbing job just the outside one's will have less of each just how carbs work so you probably won't be able to tell by the color of the plugs except that the outside one's will probably be running at a slightly lower temperature as it will be like having smaller carbs on the outside although the outer cylinders normally run cooler anyway not sure about on an indoors engine 😉
yea he was talking about selling all his junk 4 stroke kids bikes and just getting big boy 2 stroke..... but, with Migs sped that is many, many yeaars away...
the 2 rectangular steel plates reinforcing the shifter not sure what to Call them. Are you going to grind them so they dont stick out further than the handle? It would look better. And to be honest it is a bodge Job and Nothing to be Proud of. I would have built a linkage to make it feel and look better. So the shifter would have the same funktion like in a car with sekventional gearbox. And i would fit a quickshifter so you can just Bang the gears no clutch like in a car
that gearshift stick, rebar thingy he got there is just stupid. He got the chance to get a "car" with sekvential gearbox. But NOOO... he wants that hack job instead. Like you said: putting in some simple linkage and he whould have gotten a nice clean quick shift. Cant wait to see if he ever get to drive that thing how that 6 ft iron pole whould be bouncing all over the place.......
dont know how that engies cylinder are synchronized. But if he did his homework on that engine. the intake should not be a problem because one of the cylinder has it`s valves closed while the other one is open. Soo that there is only one cylinder at a time sucking in air/fuel while the other cylinder has the valves closed. so that the carb is only suplying one cylinder at a time........ if he did it the right way....
Slide it into carb the throttle piston is not in carb ok there two guides in carb turn it around it must go to bottom of carb ck unscrew top cable make sure it's in right because the barrel on cable goes into spring into piston and neddle cable goes bottom of spring and piston on end of cable
yea he should jet those carb. he just put them on there not knowing what jetting those carbs got from the start. He just watch a cars and cameras video and thought: they made it work with 2 carbs so that must mean it works for me too.....
There isn't any reason to make the intake runners that short....you got plenty of room to make Y connections....you may lose a little resoonse, but you'll have better air fuel mixture and better top end... There is no way 1 and 4 ain't going to be lean like that...
some of those bikes that use that engine has a dual carb setup. so it is nothing wrong with having two carbs. But, he is doing it the wrong way. Wrong intakes and wrong jetting.
Bro get a new fuel pump! Don't trust the messed up wires! IF the fuel IS what shorted it out to begin with, it'll catch fire! For real, think about it, your a firefighter in training!
Good luck on the tests brother. Can't wait to see this thing blow every one's mind when it breaks speed records.
The new carbs were for the move! Glad to see this thing purring
Awesome good fun keep pushing forward thanks for sharing 🔥🔥
Love watching your videos man truly makes me keep up on my own projects and always seeing you find ways past all the hang ups in your builds is awesome, keep it up migs
You should go to a Cars and Cameras meet when you get the Half-scale Naskart done. Keep up the awesome content.
Not only CarsAndCameras but you should also see if you could get it on an Actual NASCAR track! With appropriate tires of course.
Not changing the intake routes was a mistake, you’ll know it’s too lean when it blows up. Not worth the risk imo. Your welding is wayyyyyyyyyyy better than before!!!!
Like your videos if you respond I will be happy 😃
Cb engines are pretty tough I think he will see evedinve if it runs to lean long before it blows up
This guys right bro take the advice lmao

U should put a dirtbike grip on the shifter lever
Been here since the beginning of the project appreciate the commitment
You deserve more subs man

Heyy man your movement is so far
From where you began and where you now are best of luck
Hey Migs🖐 try putting the clutch on the shifter so when you go to reach for it it’s right there. Nice work!
I love the shifting/clutch set up, that is exactly how I would have done it! Also, so you don't get cut, use a bicycle grip, it will help you grip and it won't cut you. Keep it up! (Good luck with the test)
They make a pice that goes from 2 short cables out of the carb to one long on. They have them on snowmobiles.
They have them on bikes too
There was a flame at 5:59
Nicely done
mig welding with a draft or wind will blow the schielding gas away from the weld , migt want to put an extraction fan in the barn , a couple of old kitchen extraction hood work (seen them used in a spraybooth)
Make exhaust pipes go under the engine and out the back of the cart
Love the videos
Good luck on the test

Calvin Wright bruh u stoopid
@@brenontech *pulling uno reverse card*
Calvin Wright *attempts to pull out uno card but spells uno wrong and has to edit comment*
Because auto correct is stupid 🤷🤦
Calvin Wright hahaha!
Make sure you get the 45 degree angle airpods filters. I think they will help you clear the back window.
you could weld a peddle on to the clutch lever and put the clutch down were the brake and throttle are maybe.
Good luck with your tests bud. 👍
You should put a dirt bike grip on the shifter
i think you need to replace the window front of shed with a fan so ventulate so you can get shut of fumes from engines running or welding

A made that big pile into a big smile
?
You can do spot wield over spot wield to do the exhaust
what if you make a clutch lever ? I know you prolly don't have enought space for a clutch pedal, but you could do a lever sorta like an car drift brake lever, you could get soemthing like that and connect it to the clutch
Is the fuel pressure messing up the pump by maybe burning it out?
Hey migs a Y setup would be a whole lot better loving this build so far good luck 🤞
javier guzman it won’t matter
Fire fighter? So If I set my man cave on fire while I'm in it, you'll come rescue me?

Put the clutch on the shifter
MUCH RESPECT MotoMigsFireFighter
When you weld do c’s or do small circles and slow down a bit and you should be good
Connor Sarazin nah mate, first he needs to just lay a decent bead without do any fancy shit and then once he gets that down he can start doing little c’s and make it look better
bro you can’t have the intakes like that. ur gonna blow it up, mark my words.

How did the test go? Good luck with the firefighting!
Go check out the new video and show some love, appreciate all the love n support🔝🙏
Use the barrel cable end for a clutch pedal
Yay
Put a dirtbike grip on the clutch lever would look cool and you wont get cut
U need to get a jet ski project next
dark quick and freezing out? you live in the north east what do you expect its november hell its been snowing here for the last 12 hours
it might be to late when you decide to switch the fuel setup
@@kalefree6007 you underestimate the toughness of the Cb engine
@@kalefree6007 lol
Use shrink tube for wire loom
Let’s go!
You need to do a Y system intake not a h system, now the 2 middle cylinders have more gas than de outside 2 cylinders...
Do a dirtbike build next please

supertedogpriken Yeah, the whole thing is a bodge job and he is cutting Corners everywere. It just looks fucked
New intake piping, might as well make it great from the get go!
At the start of the video I googled PVC Y... Yeah, go that route. You know what they say about an ounce of prevention.
Hack yeah Buddy sounds like it will rip 😂
You should do a meet up in nh or ny
PVC tubing may warp over time from heat...
🔥🔥🏎
Wheres the Turbo...ill buy it if you still have it
Normally the intakte shouldn‘t be a Problem because the fuel air mixture get‘s sucked in the cylinderders and Not pushed into.

School first. Dont worry about us
When are you going to be making a nother video
Just weld a petal face of the clutch lever and mount it on the floor
Make s bracket for two cables from back near carb change it there one to two cables
You should invest into a gas mig welder will make welding a lot cleaner and better
Can you bring back steve soon?
I've had fourteen motorcycle I also have a Harley sportster
no one asked
Put two pit bikes air filters
O.M.G..... I finaly know who you look like now: You are 110% identical to Nick Birch from Big Mouth.

6:16 dropping big bars

It's still on 2 cylinders
Honestly put like a dirt bike grip on the shifter shouldn’t scratch you up
😍😍
You said Nice Night when it was Bright Outside
Time on the video is 8:06
Notification club
Such a sad day to learn you were killed in a car crash but you will be missed!
You guys should stop worrying about the rich or lean mixture because only one cylinder will be sucking in at any given time
are you sure?? what is the firing order of that engine??
Nice video please react than i now that you read this
Your awsome!!!!
Ur a good UA-camd but u need to post more
Pvc wont last it will shrink watch carsancams see what they did

Did you get into the fire department?
Please get a gas welder bub you will weld soooo much better
That metal seat is uncomfortable put some pillows or fabric or different seat

Bad ground sand the surface of ground contact
Do you want me send pic I have yz80 same carb
And a 1930 Ford and two Corvettes and a Celica and a Camry I just put head gskt
U should take a brake and clean the shop
It needs headlights
At 6:00 I saw a backfire
With only having two carbs, its not going to run right.
some of those bikes that use that engine has a dual carb setup. so it is nothing wrong with having two carbs. But, he is doing it the wrong way. Wrong intakes and wrong jetting.
