WILLOW Von Witcher was in fourth grade when she asked her mom if she could go to school in a vampire cape. And from that moment, there was no turning back. The now 24-year-old describes her vampire look as ‘creepy cute’; it typically features heavy pale makeup on the skin and dark lips and eyes. Willow almost exclusively wears black and avoids pastel shades or anything that she says: “looks like puke”. Having looked like a vampire for so long Willow transformed into a VSCO girl for the day, complete with scrunchies, oversized tees and a sun kissed beach babe makeup look. But after dressing as a vampire for so long what would Willow’s mum make of her pared back transformation?

Yes I do dress in different styles and also do cosplay.
That thing on my knee is because of a childhood injury.
I do own vampire fangs but don’t wear them all the time because they’re not properly fitted and therefore can cause additional teeth damage.
The vampire nickname was given to me by a teacher on a bus line once. I’ll have to do a story time haha.

I know, I actually requested this because I have so much family through adoption and otherwise that have never seen me as a normal average girl! My siblings have only known me as this spooky girl, so I’m so excited to have something to show them of how similar we actually look. Pluuusss my Instagram usually has every other look in the book already lol

as a 'goth' these transformations are always super interesting to me, especially seeing people's reactions. it's a shame people sometimes think that they can finally see the 'real' you when you're not wearing dark makeup or whatever, when it's the opposite.
You are right, the ‘real’ you is what works for you, not how everyone thinks you should be. I think what they mean, though, is that they can see the person underneath all the makeup. The goth look and all of the makeup, is the expression of who that person is, which there’s nothing wrong with, but since it is an alteration of what they naturally look like there is a lot of natural curiosity to see what’s under all the makeup. For parents especially because they raised them and associate their child with their child’s natural look.
I think that by the "real you" they mean the skin tones that you were born with. No one is born covered in tattoos with a white face and loads of black around their eyes and mouth. No one is born with purple and green hair. So to see them with a natural skin tone and naturally colored hair makes people think it is the "real them". It doesn't mean it is the comfortable them or the way they want to look.
The "my daughter came home" really made me feel bad for Willow

What's ironic about this to me is the transformation outfit is totally in sync with how her persona comes across - bright, bubbly, positive, sweet, unjaded - such a "yellow" personality. This was a fun one to watch.
She looks so awkward in the VSCO style, goth is definitely for her.

Out of all these types of videos, I enjoy seeing the transformations but I really love it when the people are the most comfortable in their daily dress routines and whenever their families love their regular dress.

She has very stunning features that could of been highlighted more.
The wig is actually really good irl. I kept it and cut it to have side swoopy bangs though so I can look like a beach goth from the 90s lol. Also thank you! I actually tried a new technique with contouring that I think has brought out my features a lot more in my day to day looks. :3

There is an actual running little joke on these transformations that the makeup artists always get these super cheap wigs that dont have the blended edges that tapers so realistic on the front! Those type wigs look very realistic and would bring a look together way more in these transformations!
But that brown wig looks way better compared to the blonde ones they had on this channel😅

What would be cool to see is slowly removing things to see what they look like, for example keep the makeup but put jeans or more their style clothes etc

I was very goth 4 years ago but Ive turned into a super girly girl who has a style kinda like the kardashians and Ariana Grande.... but I realize Ive always been a girly girl! Its way strange on how much a person can change. I was literally almost as goth as her.
