Also, belly and Conrad are not together, it's just a dream, Conrad and Jer’s mother died, and everyone is mourning, and also Conrad will go missing and Jer and Belly are gonna find him
When this trailer first came out I watched it on repeat cuz it’s just so good

Im so upset on how they did Jeremiah in the books, he would never do that to Belly and the fact that he had him cheat on Belly so Conrad and Belly could end up together is cruel. Like just pick Conrad in the 1st place instead of doing Jeremiah dirty. Nevertheless im excited for the new seasom

tbh I feel like august is the perfect song for belly. cause she spent her whole life pining after conrad, hoping for the slightest sign that he was into her. Then one summer, he was and the had a good time but then he just like ignored her and hurt her (spoiler if you haven't read the books). Which is also why I don't like belly and conrad because he only started liking her after she had her 'glow up' and its teaching young girls that you have to fit society's definition of beauty to be liked and loved.
Ummm I feel like he very much liked her before her glow up. There were so many scenes in which he was the only one who cared about her and was nice to her b4 the summer that she was pretty. Idek who to chose, con has daddy issues and some other issues too plus he changes his moods like his clothes and then jere is kind of a manipulater ngl.
@@jenniethewitch4211 those scenes are when Steve and Jere are playing around with her and then Conrad just makes them stop. I personally only saw real interest from Conrad after her glow up. In the books (which I’m going off of since I don’t know what is happening in s2 and 3) belly was always excluded by Steve, Jere, and Conrad because of Conrad. But if that’s what you believe, that’s fine

The scene that stood out to me was them dancing together in the living room. I really do understand your perspective on this tho. His feelings did seem to be more strong after she had a glow up.
@@jenniethewitch4211yes, in the tv show, they made conrad more likable. if you want to know more, read the books. in the books, they show it as if conrad didn’t like belly until her “glow up”, but jer was the one who liked her way before her glow up (only because he wanted to compete with conrad). in the beginning, none of them actually loved her before her glow up. also, in the books both conrad and jer knew about their mother’s cancer, so there wasn’t an excuse to conrad acting the way he was. in the books, jer was the momma’s boy and conrad was his dad’s boy until he knew his dad cheated. i feel like conrad was the one for belly but jer tried harder and actually loved her. (better off as friends) as i said, the tv show made conrad more likable when in the books i couldn’t stand him in book1&2.
