Great talk! I too am a Christian (and keyboard player) :) I am so 100% with you on EVERYTHING you talked about..... I couldn't have said it better myself! Your "friend" is disgusting.... And sorry to hear that about Carol's experience.... I was recently hospitalized and I agree with you.. ths health system is shot and sucks!!! I actually fired my nurse on evening... yep! She was so worthless and had an attitude and I dealt with it... Well, she snapped off at me one time too many and I basically yelled GTF outta my room and don't ever come back... (Well... needless to say the whole floor heard it and I got me a new nurse and they told me they knew she was a problem .. Well, then WHY IS SHE THERE??? So I KNOW how bad it is!!! Hang in there friend!! Looking forward to more from you!! (Hi Carol and Rocky!!!)
Agree 100% Keith. We are a country so divided. Stay strong. Stay Christian, Stay Conservative. God sent an important message to all of us on Saturday. We must listen to Him. One factor that lead me to stop performing (I'm 74 and have played since I was 15 years old) was that so many artists/musicians here in Columbus are such hard core liberals that bands were just no fun for me anymore. They let politics get in the way of having fun and creating music. If you don't conform to their way of thinking you are dismissed and chastised. We need to stay strong!
AMEN to that! Well I'm still playing...local that is. There's a certain joy in playing before a crowd. But my band is cool and no politics just music. But there's a place we sometimes play where I think the people there are lost souls. Between sets I keep to myself. But I feel sorry for them that they are lost souls.
This took courage and boldness to address these issues as well as being so upfront about your Christian beliefs. There is a lack of individuals who would be so upfront about their faith. So glad your wife is home again. We need to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.
Amen brother. My life has always been an open book. I have no secrets. I try to be real and not a fake person. Jesus hates hypocrites. Sometimes I feel I am in a bad dream! This world has gone insane. I spent decades trying to understand the Bible and to watch the words leap off the pages is crazy! Thanks for watching.
