- Doubledeckeranton compares the differences between a standard Enviro MMC bus and a rarer model Enviro H City. 🚍vs🚍...🤔
Both buses are made by manufacturer Alexander Dennis Limited and share the same chassis and hybrid engines! 👌
The Enviro H City takes design cues from the New 3 door Routemaster bus (manufactured in Ireland by Wrightbus), with it's glass staircase and narrower upper front windscreen!
Even the interior of the H-City model has T.F.L. logo seating with dark red walling! 😁👍
The H-city also takes styling cues from the single decker Enviro 200 bus with matching front lights/bodywork and rear double glass window!

Interestingly, that stagecoach E400MMC you filmed is actually a "smart" hybrid. Basically a regular E400MMC with a diesel engine with some electrical assistance and stop-start

Great video Anton, as always! Bluestar have just launched 20 or so of these in Southampton on a route running from one side of Southampton to the other, and they are very nice buses. I'm not keen on the smaller front window upstairs and the glazed staircase does have a panel in the way directly in front of the seats right behind the stairs! Otherwise, they seem like nice buses. They're diesels at Bluestar though.

Just discovered your channel, greetings from Hong Kong! Interesting to see how London compares with us, considering we use Enviros for pretty much everything here (almost every other bus here is an Enviro500 or a 400, with a couple of 200s thrown in here and there, with the rest filled by Volvo, MAN, Scania as well as a handful from China)

Yes Chantelle I do like different types of buses, those with a unique design. Evoseti MCV's have a nice old fashioned 90s/2000s look about it.

The one that runs on the 133 is good it is a good bus they even run on the 333 and the 319 and the n133 as well

I must admit was gutted to find out that they will never be a up-to-date Enviro 300 . The Enviro's are a lot better buses than the Citaros .
Scott Braid there is a LWB 200mmc which is 11.5m and I think it is built in longer sizes as well

think differnt oparators have differnt seat mesh dunno know first leeds have a pinkyish one but noticed on a gemini a friend of mine showed how dusty the seat was

Loving the video. The Enviros hybrids seem to be the best hybrid buses, I love traveling on them. can’t understand why TFL buy so many of these Volvo hybrids which are not so good. The boris Roastmaster is a disgrace, most of them the engine is on all the time.
Why not review the SRM (son of routemaster)look it up on Google, it's a 2 door Volvo based routemaster only in Harrow garage or on the route 37.
