I love the yard walk arounds. Some of us are afflicted with the Scrap Yard disease and old dump disease. The only issue is we always come home with more than we take. Go figure. Thank You.
I have wonderful memories of renting a Buik Regal when I toured the East Coast of The States back in the early 1980s. I'm in England and have great photos
That ambulance body, great storage, or hide away in another back corner of that property, Thumbs up, too bad your so far away , Im in Poulsbo Wa out on the west coast,i keep seeing that combine cab just sitting there.
I just sold and loaded a D2 cat with blade. Removed the blade and backed off the brake adjusters and towed it a short distance both forward and back and the tracks freed up and loaded with a winch and a few shoves from my tractor. JP in Grants Pass, Or.
Thank you Silas for another great video. I'm watching from N.ft.myers FL and I love scrap videos. I've did scraping for a living for a number of years myself and enjoy doing it. It must be something in my blood because my father enjoyed scraping too.keep the videos coming brother.
That's a 1960 Corvair 500 coupe! Lots of parts are 1960 only (but most can work on 61-64). That is a COOL CAR! I'm used to people who talk crap about Corvairs! Most have never owned one, or even rode in one! I've had people in Porsches, old VWs, Chevelles, Rolls Royce Corniche, ect, honk, give the thumbs up, and or stop and check it out! That's what great about us car guys, we don't all like the same things! That '52 GMC stake bed is awesome too!
When you sat the camera down on the gold Toronado I saw the Nash Ambassadoor next to it and remembered the one my Aunt had. Hers I believe was a 56 in the color Turquois.
Great video. Wish I could’ve watched it live. I really enjoy all your content. I’ve been through Kansas once and hope to return again someday. I am in Tennessee.
Yes and that six-cylinder Chevy motor also happens to have Cannon and RV camping it that's why they do that I don't want for a 65 Chevy and it will the PowerHouse for a little six
🥺 Dang! I coulda participated in an Adventures Made From Scratch livechat but I assumed it was just an early post, dang! 🥺 I would have asked what are you going to do with the Focus you drug through the house? Maybe you can use it for "yard art" for the junkyard cabin? Don't scrap it, it was the co-star of that show you know.
That yellow Ford - Mr. Goodpliers could probably tell you. Maybe see if the rear lugs have an extra thread or two, and that might let you know if it's a '58 or '59. Kidding, of course, but the two of you have an incredible knowledge of old cars. I wonder why the aluminum siding on campers and trailers isn't worth stripping.
I love to see a video of your Dodge truck that you drive my old mentor has a 78 Dodge long bed it's hooked up with the plow and everything and it has a back cap for the back of the bed
The ambulance. I've seen a few service trucks made out of them. It doesn't seem like it would be that advantageous. They're really well insulated I have one. Mine is a van style from nineteen eighty-five or 40,000 original miles. Mines has stuff in it but doesn't have the gurney but the gurney for that one is over $1,000 on the online auctions. Journeys are expensive. I've run across some Gurney's I could bought cheap and I passed on to other people because they need them to transport their loved ones and friends to doctors appointments. That's worth more than me making a few bucks selling it somebody else. Other guys have shipped those boxes two countries down south. Then what's left becomes a flatbed truck. So am I put sleepers off of a semi right behind the cab. But I don't see you trucking across country picking up cars. Just an idea maybe for some other folks. Observations more so.
Hey Silas you mentioned a jeep that you had fj3 are you referring to a fleetvan postal vehicle? If so I got a guy that needs 1 hub cap and 1 piston for the engine or possibly a engine.
Do you still have that Toyota FJ? I seen it in the background it was white. A guy I watch Robbie. As a youtube channel does body work he's looking for a toyota f j
Once again, Silas knocks it out of the Park. Or out of his scrapyard. Thank you from the UK.
