I don’t have this problem exactly so it is the back left door
It doesn’t lock with the other doors I turned the small black switch next to the child lock to get the door to lock but I can’t use it day to day due to having to repeat this process of getting a small flat key to stick in the switch
My problem is with the backseat driver’s side door not staying closed. The latch is black and I had also tried checking the child lock mechanism too.
Update: after more research, I discovered that this door latch issue is actually a common issue with this Ford model as well as Fusion and some Lincoln cars … Be sure to check for RECALLs for your specific vehicle!
The only you didn't show was how you maneuvered the door lock out of the car. I can't seem to figure that out.
I showed the screws that need to come out then you pull it out after you move it around a little

my fiesta didnt have the bolts behind te foam circles so how am i supposed to get it off?
Did you loosen everything else to see if it will come out?

It actually is still there, just the plastic nubbin it mounts to is broken off. The coil spring fits over the broken nubbin
