quick disclaimer: I don't own any of these clips, all rights belong to the BBC
also, I'm not an expert - just a neurodivergent person who likes making video compilations of characters they relate to :)
so anyway, enjoy the video :D
lol the fact that this video could probably be like an hour long
True 😭
It'd just be his entire run.
I think another one that should have been in the video, a trait that is literally called out
"Are you capable of speaking without flapping your hands about?"
"Yes." (clap) "No."
Can't believe I forgot that one 😭
Oh god, I haven't even seen that scene but I can picture it and hear it. lol
@@DarkLord-7 ua-cam.com/video/4Fr-t8LDc8s/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared This is the one
With over 900 years of life, he has SO much he can infodump about
real
Can't watch the fish fingers and custard scene without remembering that Young Amy's actor was making mistakes on purpose because it meant she got to keep eating the ice cream...
haha don't blame her tbh😭
Hearing from a friend that Ten and Eleven both probably have AuDHD was what got me to start looking for a diagnosis… and yeahhh, I’ve got it _bad_
That's iconic tbf😂
As a person with adhd I love 11 and 13 because I feel represented.
Same! Better than most canon neurodiversity rep. tbh😅
I'd take 11 over 13 easily though. He was always confident and didn't care if he came across as weird to other people.
@@sheridan5175 13 wasn't?
@@HishamA.N_Comicbroe I don't think so. Not as much as she should've been. I much preferred the way she played it during the flux when she's doing Jo Martin's doctor. Standing straight, shoulders back. There's an ego there, a leadership quality she always lacked, and a swagger that always made the character entertaining to watch.
Same
11th doctor is me 🤣🤣🤣
That's why he is my doctor 🤣
Ahh my adhd represented in my favourite doctor. This is why I love him so. I miss the ponds era, it was my favourite
The ponds era was iconic
as a person who had autism i think 11 is quite nice
wait wdym "had"
Oh…
He’s just like me fr
Considering 11 is my mumber 1 favrouite snd im also very much a adhd and tism human this made me very much happy!
haha glad you liked it!! i love making content from a neurodivergent to other neurodivergents😭
I found out that I'm autistic a few years ago. I've been rewatching the show this year (I've reached series 10) and I relate to a LOT of the 11th and 12th doctor mannerisms.
I loved that whole scene with the Lodger
The scenes in the Lodger made me so happy when I first watched it😅
I always related to 11 the most and recently found out I have ASD so it's no wonder
Same 😭
Me too. I watched The Lodger last night having not seen any DW in years and, knowing what I know now, it’s no wonder that 11 is my favorite doctor and that is my favorite episode. His neurodivergence on full display lol afterwards I told my sister, “I think I have realized why I have always found him so relatable…”
You've got to do a video like this for every Dr ❤
The last one really hits home..... An now I am sad
Ohh I'm sorry 😅
Fantastic video I absolutely love to see it, my bf says all the time that he loves 11 for his A[u]DHD traits though I tell him a lot that 11 personally feels more ADHD and 13 feels more specifically AuDHD
Do you reckon you'll end up making a video like this for 13? Would love to see another Neurodivergent's perspective and not just "oh socially awkward scene how cringe NotMyDoctor"
Thank you!! And I will - I'll have to finish watching all of 13s episodes first though😅
I personally enjoy the part in "Arachnids in the U.K." when she asks the boss man,
"Are you Ed Sheeran? Is he Ed Sheeran? People talk about him nowadays, don't they?"
•He goes off about who he is, what he's done, and she just is totally unimpressed, looking bored in a funny way.
•Then she genuinely asks if she should be impressed by those things he mentioned, and •Graham tells her the guy is running for president.
•She thinks Graham means Ed Sheeran.
Just a funny exchange.
The most he me fr character to ever he me fr
As an autistic person with traits of add, 11 is my favorite because I feel represented.
I'm autistic plus I have swum the English Channel and was the first person to do it!
I mean, does 2:20 count? He just regenerated, so everything tastes weird, like eating after brushing your teeth.
fair enough but I still count it tho🤷
i love him
I'm pretty sure MOST of the Doctors could have a video like this. 😂
Real 😅
Nahh cause fishfingers and custard slaps hard, honestly great food combo 😂
I've never tried it but maybe I should 😂
I'd love to try that but I'm afraid incase it's awful.
@@joanmcfarlane1199 it actually surprisingly good, not quite a dessert, more of a snack
@@ItMightBeaTV OMG PLEASE DO 😂😂😂
So that's what it is lol.😂😂
What’s stimming?
Definition: "the repetitive performance of certain physical movements or vocalizations, as a form of behaviour by persons with autism or other neurodevelopmental conditions; self-stimulation. This behaviour is thought to serve a variety of functions, such as calming and expression of feelings." usually something that autistic or ADHD people do :)
@@ItMightBeaTV as an autistic person I’m doing that myself. I just didn’t know the word for it.
So that's why he's so similar to me... wait a goddamn minute
