You're right. I think Michael Johnson is absolutely incredible! What a pristine performance he gave on this song. I heard this the first time on a jet flight to Florida and was completely blown away by his evocative voice and the arrangement. Nice pictures in this video too. Thanks for posting.
great choice of descripts - penetrates, the mind, the soul, the heart of those of us thirsting for honest, unmanipulated art. And as all art, timeless. sc
Bob, you put the 'hurray' in elderly! A heart-warming lovely video, beautiful photos speak for themselves, the music & Michael's voice, & the message, all add up to magnificent!
bob you have released a few of us from the bondages of time. Me and mylady met while I was in the service (nam), she stood by me then, she stood by me after I was a 'baby 'killer, and she is still by my side now on the dwnside of 60. Your pics could have been us over the last forty years, and viewing them as Mike J. sings this timeless song in the background, I am released. Thanks for the art. sc
Crying while watching this video. This song is so lovely, and now even more poignant with the death of Michael. We should all be so lucky to have such a love as described in this song.
if you look at the eyes of the old folks in these pics, yes, they are looking at each other but the true connection of what they are seeing is several light years and a couple of lifetimes away - where love is all there is. sc
there is not one staged photo in this vid- these folks' cups runneth over and are as legit as the music and the presentatation of Michael. sad that it it gets 2270 views and beyonce gets 3.3 million for 'beyounceing'. ah, any day now, any way now - finish it for me Bob c
Don't be so cryptic. Please expand. What is your point? And what is "1.5x"? Look, I've made over 1300 videos and have over 140,000 subscribers. So I know something about distinguishing superb songs fron "average" songs. You, you have 6 videos and 166 subscribers. So, if you want to criticize my choice of songs for which to make videos, or criticize the song itself, that's fine, criticize away. But at least make some sense and at least expand.

@@BobMarshall1952 I dont have a BS/BM from stanford, all i know is that i was told to listen to this song, but i forgot to set the playback speed back to 1x after listening to pod casts, i didn't find the song special at 1.5x, voiced my opinion to the person who told me to listen, then listened, and noticed it was playing back too fast, it was much more impactful(?) when played at its intended speed Something upsetting happen today, would you like to talk about it?
@@denvera1g1 OK, thanks for explaining it. OK, so the 1x/1.5x is talking about tempo. Yeah, for music, changing the tempo 50% faster is going to mess things up. And, while I am sorry that you have some upsetting things going on right now. I don't feel like talking to me, a total stranger, would be beneficial. But, as a Christian, I can pray for you.

@@BobMarshall1952 Its special at 1x, but it just sounds like your average run of the mill song at 1.5x
