Second video I have seen from this company and both have been misrepresented in the title... wish they would just say we are getting paid by Centurion to be give a biased opinion
Great video! I was in Boardco just yesterday talking to Mitch about how to set up my boat. He took a ton of time with me. Great guy, very knowledgeable, and he wants you to have a good surf experience.
Next time can you please explain what you're doing to the set up of the boat to obtain whatever wave characteristics you're after. Just an example, "We're going to mellow out the front portion of the wave, but add a hook at the back for a safety net". Sounds great, but what are you doing to achieve this and why do only certain boats allow you to achieve this. It's a nice video with a good spread of riders, but really didn't get much actual information from this video. Thanks
what I think everyone fails to explain is why this V hull allows more customization. It is because of the presicely adjustable port/starboard tabs that controll how much the boat rolls and sinks one side in the water. It is also because of the large center tab that allows you to presicely adjust how far down you want the bow to go. What all this does is changes is how much length and width of the boat is in the water and changes how much and where water is displaced to come back up and shape the wave just how you want it.
I just picked up a new boat. Super air S23 new model which is similar to the G23. What’s the best upgrades I can put on to absolutely make a massive & best wave that the boat can really do?
The Vi22 does a great job. It doesn't create the same wave as the one in this boat, but mainly because it is lighter and doesn't pack as much ballast. The running surface is the same, so it has the same capabilities. The only difference is just the displacement each boat can create.
@@robertdavidsimpson Yes the Vi22 will produce a bigger/longer wave than a Nautique 230. When it comes down to it there is no replacement for displacement on a surf boat.
I bought one after I saw the differences between Nautique, Malibu, Centurion and Tige@@BoardCo My cousin is a championship wakeboarder and wake skater so I've been on a lot of boats for the competitions
Showing how we make the adjustments at the helm of the boat are key. Adding them into this video would have added another 15 minutes to the video which seemed a bit too long. Luckily we have a full separate video series on all the ways you can manipulate the surf wave: ua-cam.com/video/q9Uy0fpZie4/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/Kyx32g4CSvg/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/w0Vb2A6hRVk/v-deo.html
I suggest you get real surfers who can surf give you their feedback of what the best wave behind the boat is, an experienced surfer who can shred has more wave experience then just about anyone. As someone who lived on the coast and has surfed most of my life those you have behind the boat are a poor representation of surfing a wave. I would love to see real surfers giving the feedback.

Would love to see these different waves side by side without surfers to really get a good idea of differences.
Exactly what i was thinking
I would really like to see a comparison between Mastercraft and Centurion boats

That is a great suggestion! We will be sure to include that in our upcoming videos!
Can you section the UA-cam video into the different boats and time stamps? Thanks
I will add that to my to do list!

10:51 what jacket is that?
It is a Liquid Force Ghost. Not sure what year it is, but it's older than 2021 model. :)
You didn’t explain what you did to the boat. What were the speed differences, how much ballast, what is the wave shapper?
Boardco, how can you not be biased.
We are looking at the VI 22. How does that wave compare this boat. I’ve only surfed behind a Nautique 230 and wonder how it would compare to the Vi 22
The Vi22 does a great job. It doesn't create the same wave as the one in this boat, but mainly because it is lighter and doesn't pack as much ballast. The running surface is the same, so it has the same capabilities. The only difference is just the displacement each boat can create.
BoardCo Thanks I have only surfed behind a Nautique 230. I assume the vi 22 has a more substantial wave do to the increased ballist

What exact boat is this??
That is a Centurion Ri237!
Which comp vest is the big guy wearing?
He's wearing the Liquid Force Ghost Comp www.boardco.com/liquid-force-ghost-comp-vest-in-tan-sage $99.95
Thanks mate!!
Not even comparable to a “G” aka Nautique? Not too mention the ride for people in the boat. Like comparing a Toyota to Lexus/Mercedes.
Easy...Malibu Wakesetter 23 LSV with Surf Gate and Powerwedge 3
Cool! Do you have Malibu?
I bought one after I saw the differences between Nautique, Malibu, Centurion and Tige@@BoardCo My cousin is a championship wakeboarder and wake skater so I've been on a lot of boats for the competitions
Terrible title. Should say centurion boat advertisement. Still impressive boats !
A lot of "we're gonna do this..." and nothing on how you accomplished it at the helm.

FYI this title is misleading! This video It’s only Centurion waves on one boat... fake news.
Zero riding
Oh so smaller wave is better . Hahahahah
Have to do slow motion to make it look cool…it’s a gay sport
Wake surfing is gay and I have a nice surf wake. The actual wake surfers in the world are tarded
