First trick to learn ... how to afford a 100K-200K boat ! Besides that, great video... I've been trying to ollie off the top and the thought of first ollieing in the flats never even occurred to me. Thanks !
Awesome video dude! We just ordered a Z3 and the only times I’ve wake surfed was on the three boats we demo’d lol. It should be here in a month so I will be glued to you UA-cam and IG psyching up for the day I get to try all this fun stuff 👀😂🙏💪
We have a G25 nautique with 2300 pd ballast. We are having a hard time getting that long, flatter wake. Are you comfortable sharing your settings? I’ve found your videos super helpful but our wake seems too short to really come from the back. We’ve played around with speed and wake size so far. Thank you!
Great video and explaining tricks to progress up to the 360 makes sense. I am definitely bored and have been working on the 360 with some success. But will take some steps backward and work on your suggested tricks great building blocks ! Thanks 🤙🏄♀️
Max ballast, 11.4-12mph depending on how many people are in the boat. Then place up to 1000lbs of lead throughout the boat. 200lbs more on port side to offset prop rotation
Nice video man. What kind of board are you riding? I ride a Byerly Buzz and I have a hard time getting air. Thinking maybe I should get a board built more for getting pop. Any thoughts?
Thanks Mike! I ride my pro model from Jetpilot. I specifically designed my board to get pop. If you check out their site it comes in a 4’4” and a 4’7” 🤙🏼
@@DylanAyala Does wax get on your feet from the board and in the boat? All of my boards have the non wax surface and I am thinking wax would help keep your feet planted on the board.
I struggle with getting. Wave that consistently has enough push for me without being too short and shallow. I’ve seen several other, lighter weight, surfers be able to get a wave that stretches much further back from the boat with a wave not overly tall, but tall enough to get well behind the boat, then pump a couple times to run right up behind the boat. To get a wave with enough push to keep me going, I’m almost up on the swim platform. 👎
i am an intermediate surfer, have surfed couple times a year for about 10 years. I can also wakeboard well. Will i find this easy to adapt to? Or does it take some time? Thanks!
this will be very easy to adapt to, the landings and sliding the board are a very different feeling but just give it a long day and some patience and i promise you’ll be as comfortable on a wakesurf as you are on a surfboard.
Great video but that last trick is a frontside boardslide, not a lipslide. These are two fundamentally different tricks. A Lipslide is where your tail goes up and over the wake, so for a frontside lipslide you will be facing the boat while sliding.
@@DylanAyala That's all I needed to know my friend. 😃 Occasionally, life needs a reset. You three will always have my support. Great Video, see you in the next one!

Great shots - the POV from behind the boat is way different than from inside the boat so that was super helpful
I agree!
I love the pov when you’re on the wave!! It gives a very helpful perspective!
This video helped me so much i am hoping to learn to Ollie and do a floater this weekend
Let’s go!!!! Let me know how it goes please!
GoPro shots are awesome for learning and really appreciated. No one seems to do that.
Awesome! Thank you - this was helpful!
Super helpful video to understand the wave and its shape.

Speed bump it up by .3-.6
So helpful!! I wish I watched this before my first day on the wake.

Buy a slalom ski and learn how to run a slalom course. Much more fun and exciting for you and the boat crew
@@slalomskierdog ha ha ! I only ride sideways 😂🏄♀️
founds this at the right time. I just got the surfing down. Thanks!
Dude, nicely done!
Nice job! Really helpful.
Thanks Ronald! Thanks for the support
Can you please add a slowmo replay on the boat view?
Yooooo!!! Welcome back to UA-cam! Hope y’all are doing well 🙏.
ok - I am sorry but my question is very basic. What do you mean when you say "load" and "pop"? What do I do with my body?
What kind of board are you using in this video? Thanks
What’s your wave setting for your G 23. We have one, and I was wondering how to get the wave so far from the boat.
^^^^
Max ballast, 11.4-12mph depending on how many people are in the boat. Then place up to 1000lbs of lead throughout the boat. 200lbs more on port side to offset prop rotation
I have 400 pounds of lead. 11.4 on speed. 0,3 on the settings. If you have the new model I’d recommend wave setting 5!
Is that a 210? how much weight do you have in there and whats your set up if you have lead?
Which board and size was that?
My pro model from Jetpilot! It is a 4’4” it also comes in a 4’7” check out Jetpilot website. Thanks for the support!

nice!

I’m that guy who goes straight to the 360
Haha! Same with a lot of people. Have you tried the lipslide?
Hey, sorry but isnt the last trick a boardslide? Instead of lip
Correct

“Pop “ with zero explanation on the mechanics of the oly

A 360 took me 2 try’s
👍👍👍
Where is Finn?
Where is Hannah?
Really hope everything is okay...

@@DylanAyala glad to hear Finn and Hannah are ok. I’ve been worried since Hannah’s name isn’t on the channel anymore.
!
POV isn't nearly as helpful as front on view, it's really hard to see what is going on
Where's the girl friend
Where's the girl friend??
That’s a frontside boardslide not a lip slide
