Used to watch it after school in Ireland as a kid , loved the accents my brother had immigrated there in the early 80s and it made me interested in what the country was like but of course it was set in ww2 era but we got neighbours and home and away then but eventually I grew up and lost interest in soaps !

O yes, you are so right. This series is awesome! But at least you got the chance to watch it as a kid. They never broadcasted it here :-(
