- Oldschool runescape is notorious for being very grindy. Most skills take a long time to every reach 99. That said throughout the years, players have discovered the fastest possible methods for each skill. So today I am going to be going over what are the fastest 99's currently in osrs!
Now to reach these methods you will normally have to invest a large amount of money, or invest a ton of effort to reach these exp rates. I will be briefly talking about each skill and discussing the fastest methods, how long it takes to reach lvl 99 and if I think its worth it.

For farming/construction together you can actually build gardens on a poh. I used zen gardens to power level both of them at the same time

I liked smelting at the blast furnace, smithing the bars into platebodies, crafting the nature runes necessary to alch them at the rift and then alch them all. It wasn't terribly efficient save for the smithing, but it allowed for a little bit of profit at the end of a hefty chunk of xp.
Used the gold bars from smithing gainz, taded to my alt that was stuck in f2p cutting sapphires for profit and then made into unstrung ammys for my main for afk magic, stringing jewelry spell, then traded them back for low level magic training and decent money for a bond for my alt, and if they don't sell you can just high alchemy then repeat if you want to glory's, depending on profit, slow training but afk background gains if you don't have bond money right then.

for fletching, after the first click just keep double clicking over the tip and then the feather. soo much faster imo

You can only buy 30k feathers on ge. That would take so much time to get the amount you need

boosting construction for the two trones would make it even faster but the price would be INSANE! (magic stone costs 975k each and you need 15 and 25 stones for the different trones)

Honestly when it comes to Herblore I really like to just farm the herbs and make the potions that way. The herb seeds for Toadflax and Avantoes are very cheap and even a single herb basically pays for them. Yes it takes a little longer but you make money and get Farming and Herblore experience and can still sell the potions at the end.
Honestly you would be better off farming the most profitable herb you can and then just selling it off and buying the herbs you need

Stuck in the eternal midgame post qpc grinding skills for achievement cape, do you think we could get another updated money maker per hour vid with the grand exchange update/ whenever next and raids 3 comes out?
I get that these all realistic ways to do the skills. But showing the crazy ones would have been also very interesting like con costing bills.
Want to say, with the mobile client, getting OSRS on a tablet, construction and fletching have been soooooo much easier and faster as well as a super relaxed method for the wrist. Fletching is really fast with a tablet

With the GP cost are you including the sold prices of the items such as black body's and gold bars? Or just the cost of buying the original materials?

Also if you are on to save every and any xp lamp you get throughout the time playing the game which may or may not be a good amount but they will definitely help cut the time down on some of these methods here,
Oh, for Fletching, you need about 20x buy limit, so you have to wait a few days after you decide to do it.
The best xp/hr is demonic thrones from 91 to 99 construction with spicy stews and a crystal saw, with upwards of 12m xp/hr
I did the math and it would only cost 7.1B so not only is it fast but it's cost effective :D

Not sure if it still the case but swap paste cooking used to allow for max xp in one game tick... granted the amount of set up time is insane due to it being 1xp per paste

If you do mixed runs of gold and mithril at the blast furnace it keeps most of the xp while also not losing you money.

You should go over multiple methods and times prices
I used to Fletch yew bows and then use alchemy on the finished bows. Then go buy nature ruins to raise fletching, magic, wood chopping and a little bit of a crafting.
The good days, i had so much fun doing that compared to wat everyone does now

I don't think you can chin Maniacal Monkeys at 1 defense, when you have to do MM1 to access the caves.
The defence xp from mm1 is optional, although I think there are requirements to complete mm2 that give defence xp.

Endgame pure here: to precise; you can start mm1 and chin when you reach the area, however, to access dragon scimitar (bis slash at 60 attack), you have to complete the quest. Once you complete the quest, you can wield dscim but can't chin anymore (explained underneath)
Its only when you wanna start mm2 that you will gain exp because if you talk to one specific guy (the one that gives you the 4 stats xp) to finish your mm1 training. (Which is the guy that flies you to ape atoll island)
You can chin you just can't finish the quest. Thus, a lot of pures finish of range training first then complete the quest after for the scim without ever claiming the exp.

Just a heads up, 1 tick Karams are the same thing if not easier than how you were doing bones on the altar, the 1 tick just refers to being able to offer one every single tick, it’s not the same as manipulating with knife log or herb tar

I 1 ticked karmas from lvl 50 to 99. Shit sucked but I got my first ever 99. Also made some money. I Just used the fire in the rogues den. Made around 600k xp per hour. Glad it’s over lol.
Question: is it worth it to do mahogany homes to get 99 construction nowadays? if so, how much time/money would i spend? and what are the better methods to do it?
too slow it's close to 300k, I got 99 doing mahogany benches. 800k/h, but with perfect ticks you can get 1m

@@ownage11445 They're not bad at low levels, but not great overall either. UIM might get the most out of the activity but the outfit's at best there for the 200m maxers
Ok so I don't know what these people are on, but mahogany homes is a GREAT way to train con. Sure, it takes more time (about 200k an hour I guess?) but it's so much cheaper. Sure, you can go the fast way if you have the money, but you'll be paying triple. Also, mahogany homes is pretty chill. It's not afk by any means, but it's fun and relaxing
how can I clic 1 tick items on bank while doing cooking? So all I do is clic 14 grapes and 14 jug all the time and you only clic the item on bank.
A video like this for Ironmen would be super cool, although I'm sure not as straight forward.
I tested an autoclicker on a throw away account when mobile came out. Constantly had 1m+ xp drops. A few buds and I kept testing it with all sorts of skills. Combined, we had achieved over 250m xp on our throw aways with zero bans.
We didn't use it to cheat, only test. We still keep the software secret so no one else will use it. But man, seeing those HUGE xp drops from wines was so tasty.

What are was to train skills fast if not done some quests like mm2
I'm confused. (Relatively new to the game ~150 hours)
With crafting, fletching, herblore and such. Is your estimate for cost factoring in selling the products from training those skills?
I've messed around with herblore a bit and always made most of my money back from selling the potions.
The cost for these methods should factor in the selling price. And I do not think that there is a single potion rn that is profitable to make, the cheapest is probably supercombat potions which only lose you around 400 gp per potion, but you also need 90 Herblore for that.
@@Sol0666 prayer potions are about 1500gp profit per potion right now. Atleast thats what I've been doing. Ranaar is about 9000gp and Snape grass about 300. Then the prayer potion you make is worth 12kgp

Proud to say my first 99 was prayer, bought ensouled heads and the runes for around 34m total took me forever to accomplish it but was I think it was worth

take needle and thread out of bank and release the placeholder then fill the rest of the bank up with bank fillers in the options so there is no bank space left for them to go into
I’m pretty sure to do monkey Man this to you need to 37 defense because of the doctor glove or some guy upstairs after monkey Madness. So number 10 technically you would start off at level 37 but that’s only maybe 37,000 defense experience or something like 43 I don’t know but it’s not that much unless it’s early game
New players, if you want a stack and just any 99 for your first, cooking or fletching is the way. Fastest and they can make starter bank for all your early journeys. I'd personally recommend a second acc afk for fishing while you train and quest your main, than when you go into afk skills for main, cook everything on alt. If your goin for f2p and bonds I don't know best method but when I done it i was able to make decent bank off crafting jewelry on both acc it's pretty afk In al Kharid, until 75 or bond for both accs and was able to get slayer rings early on for teleports in p2p. You could always flip a set amount of death runes also in f2p for daily funds
I remember in 2007 I was playing this game and thinking to myself things like:
"Hey I bet my character could go for a cup of tea."
"I feel like baking a cake."
"I'm going to explore the wilderness and see what's out there."
"Maybe I'll make new friends at Castle Wars today."
"Running low on salmon. I think I'll invite someone to fish together."
"I hope I get a random event today!"
"Maybe I'll score a cool item at the bank!"
...now it's all about optimization and grinding. The social aspects are beyond dead and approaching the experience of playing the game with a freeform, easygoing mindset is straight up frowned upon. Kind of a bummer.

@@stevegoldstein3402 in all likelihood the bots have been around longer than you have played. There has been mass botting since RSc; when I stopped playing my first time around 2010 there was still plenty of botting then too.
But the feel really changed when you could just go to the GE and didn't have to talk to anyone, or worry about not being within trade limit of each other.
@@TearlessGosling bots were definitely around since the beginning but in 03-04 when I started was far and few with colored bots. They really evolved around 2009-2013. At that time I was so mad about them I created my own bot farm using RSbuddy as the program. I had around 25 different lvl 100’s doing frost dragons all at the same time. Cost me about $500 a month to rent a server for them. Finally jagex did the bot nuke which basically banned anyone on a certain IP (same bot client). So then it was only private scripted and programs that could do it. None of the accounts are perma banned to this day but I did get a warning.
I did like having to communicate more in person with trading but in reality I was also using 3rd party forums to make deals with people on trades until the GE came out. I think the GE coming out was when bottling had really been on another level. If anything I think the GE just made it easier for bots to buy and sell rather than the GE itself.
Had 99 mage during rs2 , took me till from 2002-2006 lol. I got back on last year , only have two weeks logged and already almost have 99 ranged along with like 222 qps

Yeah since you cook a karambawan in every single tick if u do it manually in a rhythm compared to afk cook karambawan.
It's not. There is no manipulation going on, but it is an unintentional mechanic. It's not supposed to work like manually offering bones at an altar. Although, the latter is also not intentional and only viable with runelite menu entry swapper. So I'm not sure why he did include the prayer method, but not karambwans
@@clashoclan3371 True, but is that tick manipulation? or just spam clicking? Could be super semantic, but when I think of tick manipulation I think about performing actions (like tarromin tars) to cancel out animations that would otherwise take more ticks to complete.
Edit: if karambwans are tick manipulation then I might consider construction tick manipulation as well, as to get the experience rates mentioned in the video one must be nearly tick perfect.
can you add the amount of resources needed from starting points for example smithing starting at lvl 65 how much gold, or even from lvl 1 how much resource you need?

Seeing any of it drop, or being demoted (in the clan due to these reasons) becomes almost like a fear. As sweaty as that sounds that was my dilemma. You can get fairly decent magic and crafting exp by camping dragons, safe spotting them, using lunar to tan their hides, then alch them
@@ZenataUSA no, alch them later because you make more money alching them and then selling on the GE, and if you're tannin hides and making hide bodies you can stay much longer than just picking up the hide.

I just high alch for 99 mage, it may be slower but starting off at 40mil and ending up with 83mil gp at 99 sounds like a fair deal to me.
If you’re really cheap you could buy feathers or some other cheap bs, and take a full inventory of food/ teleports in the wild. From there go to the fountain of rune in the wild and alch for free. You may not make much money, but at least you can get a 99 for free!
I saw a comment on another OSRS video where the guy sets something on his spacebar and splashes for 6 hours totally AFK, and that's what I've been doing the last couple of days. 373k xp and counting!

Fire making a skill I despise even though it’s fast it sucks.
Crafting w crystal seeds (as done by MoistCritikal) is the most expensive and fastest training method in the game right now. It's not even close. This is a pretty hefty oversight.
You can go from 70 to 99 and smithing and crafting in like two hours making Crystal ax’s It just causes an insane amount of GP

Rewatching this video, only play runescape 3 and the grind is so easy in rs3 compared to osrs. Some methods can easily have 2M xp/hr maybe more during double xp

This is what I tell everyone. I did max point games on my iron to 99 and had 71 con by the time I was done.
I made 17 mil profit doing plank make from 86 to 99. Made over 99,400 mahogany planks.
the true best skill cape is the cabbage cape
costs less than 1k and takes less than 10 minutes to "earn"

Farming isn't actually time gated. That was false. You can do tithe to 99 if you have bo seeds. I myself just did tithe farm from 73 to 86. Got all the rewards also. About 2.6m xp or so 26 hours give or take but doable. Tithe at 74+ I think is 100k xp a hour
I know I might be in the minority here but I personally find 1 ticking to be the most fun way to play the game make me feel like basement dweller but I find it very satisfying
