As someone getting back into film after going completely digital almost two decades ago, I would love to see what film stocks you are using in the photo montages. Side note, I just recently found your channel and I'm binging it; it's easily the most unique style to the genera I've ever seen. You are doing excellent work.
Are we just gonna brush past the fact that he got a shot of a man pointing a gun a something/someone? Insane shot mate. The videos are always next level, I watch them even if I'm not interested in the product.
the production level is on point. only flaw i found was a sound "noise" grain as soon as you entered you dialog. loving your videos i just watch them to enjoy your work .
So, I just found this camera (black version) in a random box in my house. I googled it and this video appeared. I'm feeling kinda blessed right now. Anyway, amazing video. I didn't expect this kind of quality for a camera review. I subscribed.
This video articulates why I own a Sony, but now want to own a Fuji and will likely in the future. The X-T series are just a joy to look at, push buttons on, and make art. And, whatever "character" cameras and lenses can have these days, Fuji is at least pursuing _something_ vs pursuing the cleanest image at 1 billion ISO. GxAce, if the Leica M6 inspires you to shoot great photos, then by these examples it's working.
Couldn't of said it any better, as someone who just picked up an m240 despite how "old" it is, it makes me want to pick it up and shoot with it more than any camera ever has and thats the most important thing imo.
Man! Your channel is amazing, XPan video sucked me in! The world you're building is awesome. I got my Black M6 in 2014... and you are right it is a heirloom!
Amazing. I have a similar story with my m2. Was on a trip to Germany and picked up my m2 at the Leica store in Munich. My nephew will inherit it I bet.
Very cool! Yeah I love the stories that can be associated with an object. I buy a lot of cameras from estate sales and always wonder about the stories behind the cameras.
I think what is a quintessential camera will differ from person to person. To me it a Pentax K1000. Affordable, produced for many many decades, iconic. Found in the hands of amateurs, photography students, professionals, enthusiasts, and everything in-between. In this case I do think a camera is just a tool. K1000 was made to be everything to everybody, and for many years it was. Incredibly simple, reliable. It was made to just work. And you also get a selection of Pentax lenses from the period, most of which are extraordinary. Just like you and Leica, I have that connection with Pentax. It was my first film camera I learned to shoot with. I still have it. I don't shoot anymore, or not very often at least. But it's still part of what my life is, and has been. It left a mark in my memories that I cherish like everything else.
I’m always waiting for one of your videos and it almost never disappoints in any way, shape or form. Loved this video! I hope one day the M6 will reach my hands one day :,)
Wow. Really amazing work! Love your production value. Honestly better than a lot of “shows” out there. Definitely agree with the notion of a tool (camera) inspiring you to shoot because you love it. I have an amazing Sony that is wholly uninspiring to shoot most times. I also have a decade old Olympus XZ1 that I shoot everyday and a host of film cameras I’d almost always rather take! Thanks for the great videos!
I just keep coming back to this video because it just looks and sounds so good. I can't explain it but its like a crunchy oreo. Also, If anyone else is looking for the end song, It's crossing out by faded paper figures

Thank you my friend! I used to have an AE-1 that was used to shoot my childhood by my parents, but it got stolen out of my car. Really wish I still had it because that definitely had more memories attached to it.
One of my favorite quotes is from Jeff Winger on the pilot episode of Community. "For the same reason I can pick up this pencil, tell you it's name is Steve and go like this. (snaps pencil) And part of you dies just a little bit on the inside. Because people can connect with anything." The photo community often downplays or outright denegrates care for gear/equipment/etc as a detraction of the photographic arts. I've never understood it. Our ability to care about almost anything, from stories to people to things, is why we can go millenia and still create new artistic ideas. What the photo community often doesn't talk about is that instead of disciplining ourselves to focus on both the tools and the art in equilibrium, we use "gear doesn't matter" and the "camera is just a tool" as a scapegoat to not have to do the extra work of establishing that equlibrium; inevitably robbing ourselves of what both halves of that experience can grant us. This video is everything I love about that equilibrium. Letting the tool inspire your art and vice versa. You're a breath of fresh air to this space dude. Looking forward to the next piece.
Please do the Fujifilm X-H2S. I've been waiting for only you to make a video about it so i can make my decision to buy it or not. Nothing beats your in depth short films.
