I'm more mesmerized on the machinery being used, like the one big rob with the bubble holes; such precise peace of art!.... :) So when someone said lets fight plastic garbage in the oceans world wide, how exactly is this going to happen? We used it on the daily basics. Just wondering.....
For example, with a bit of effort much of packaging that uses bubblewrap and styrofoam can be replaced with cardboard, it's a bit of an origami exercise, but definitely worth it for mass market items. With a bit more effort, you can make sure garbage disposal works in your area and trash isn't dumped in waterways, that helps even more. Doesn't mean plastics should never be used at all, just keep it where actually necessary with minimum waste and don't throw garbage where it doesn't belong, that's certainly effort worth making isn't it?
