I have a heavy duty California spec magnaflow cathalitic converter. I know I have to plug the evap hose to the intake manifold top solenoid and modify the d Series harness. But my question is. "is possible to bard a 98 b18b1 into a 98 ej8?"

In my country, I can only swap 0.2 litres bigger engine, and power cannot increase more than 20 % and power to weight ratio has limits, it sucks. I want B18C 200 hp or K20A 220 hp, not possible, only EU/UKDM DC2 B18C6 190 hp is largest legal swap engine for my car. (EK4 VTi hatch with B16A2 from factory)
TL FIN - he trying to get the car BAR which means the engine/car is up to state spec. So you will need stock parts on the car and their other small detail. You can put a k20a2 into a ek hatch and get it BAR but then the car would be consider as a RSX so you would need to do what ever it take to get a RSX to pass emission.you would need to do to your car. Each state in America has its own law on cars and what not.

Should of just returned this motor if it was threw a importer. All the money you saved on buying this B16A2, you still had to spend it on OEM Honda refreshing parts.
I work at Honda too and I always buy Honda parts only.... why go cheap on cheap stuff when you can buy Honda parts for a little bit more and it’s way better quality 👍🏻
Idk if I agree with u on the gasket comment I used hundred of auto parts store gaskets and never had a problem maybe it was improper installation on ur part or ur buddies

It's a seeker exhaust. Google them. There's no need for anyone to put you in contact with them. You'll just need deep pockets to get one landed in the states.

Theres absolutely nothing wrong with using felpro gaskets and seals. Its the person that installed it that sucks ass.
I never had a problem with felpro..he must suck at installing period.
