This will flop for a few reasons 1. Rachel talked cash sh*t about the original and pretty much implied her version will be better because she'll be a leader. You can be Pro-Women and not be Anti-man. 2. Peter Dinklage caused original Dwarves work which was replaced with CGI. I guess Peter only wants to be the H.D.I.C (Head Dwarf In Charge) 3. Gal is arguably better looking than Rachel. The internet is teasing the comparison apart. 4. Rachel spent more time playing victim instead of promoting. 5. Race Swap. Most people don't like them. I guess the Little Mermaid reboot wasn't something to learn from.
I love that we've pretty much accepted Tolkien's 'dwarves" over "dwarfs" at this point. I'm not going to stress over changes from the original film since the animated film already was a much lighter take than the darker Grimm fairy tale.
It's the Hollywood problem, lack of originality. Or rather a lack of faith in original stories. Movies have gotten ridiculously expensive to make, so no studio is willing to finance a fresh, original story. They'd rather produce a supposedly safer but tired, & worn-out remake.😢

The soprano who sang the 1937 Snow White movie music did not have nearly as strong a voice as Rachel Zegler.
This actually looks good, Gal Gadot looks like the OG, Rachel looks good too, sings wonderful, this is colourful finally. We could see reactions from children,,they loved it, that tells everything. The crying doesn’t matter compared to that.

I knew the internet was a bunch of crybabies who overreacted to everything when I finally saw Lightyear. Everyone was complaining about the moving pushing “overt gay sexual agendas” on the audience. I had to rewatch the whole movie LOOKING for the “overt lesbian agenda”. It was two female background characters who kissed for a split second in the background of one scene. That was it. I missed it the first time. From then on, I stopped listening to the internets “outrage” 🤣🤣

As a German, I can tell you: THIS has nothing to do with Snow White! It's a shame that Disney is allowed to call the film that! Bad casting, the Evil Queen is more beautiful than Snow White, the dwarves look so weird, the dress is cheap looking & ugly, the singing voice to deep and harsh, uncanny valley CGI - why even bother to make a live-action film, when it's all CGI? ... The list goes on ...
the picture we saw on screen weren't bad honestly the trailer felt more like a suspense or horror trailer than a fantasy to me. but eh. this feels like another Disney flop that will pleas nobody.
I guess they are hoping time will make people forget the insufferable comments Rachel Zegler made before, and all the other nonsense they were trying to introduce to the movie as well. This movie is already a lost cause for Disney in large part because they've already burned a few hundred million making what they had before, so how much more have the spent redoing it? This movie would probably have to make between 1-1.5 billion just to break even at this point. I personally wouldn't watch it for any reason.

I don't care for the CGI dwarfs. Right now, that's my biggest complaint.
Research the actress, she is NOT very well liked by fans, esp for her "Weird, Weird" comments about Prince Charming being a "stalker".
