its not top heavy, unless Ike is on it!! LOL.. Besides, it would be a LOT more fun as a wheelie machine instead of a racing lawn mower. Now if they could slap a deck on it and mow the yard at 20-30 mph and get a good cut pattern, THAT would be an episode that would make history.
I. Know right that dragster needs that Ducati street bike engine and the lawnmower needs to be beefed up they have a Chinese four wheeler with suspension I would cut the front end off of and weld it to the lawnmower and I would widen the rear with a solid axle from a four wheeler maybe even make a tube frame but keep all the lawn mower carcass idk I’m disappointed 😔
I was a frame mechanic for years. Brace opposite frame with angle iron. use porta power or ratchet straps for pressure. over straiten for spring back. now cross brace and gusset as needed. Wish I would be around in the future when you guys enter the circuit. peace
Wow 504k subs now. I remember when you were under 100k... who knew small engine projects were getting so popular? I think we're seeing the revival of the minibike and gokart scene!
Glad to see the racemower getting some love again. I just found y'alls channel and started converting my 15HP briggs this weekend after watching the older videos.
I don't know if anyone else forgets to hit the like button sometimes but I do. Thanks for the reminder, keep them coming. Love the videos but sometimes I just forget.
So excited for this build! The first video I ever saw of you all was when you were building the mower. It inspired me to build a mower I got for free very similarly. Now you got me thinking 670! Hmm.....
Ralph I'm happy to see the mower get it the mower been around the same time as the Rat Rod wagon it's cool to see it get one more shot I'm very interested what's going to turn out on it :)
I think the 670 looks spot on!! 👌🏽 Can’t wait to see it in action. Glad you found the hood cause I really don’t think it looks like a lawnmower without it. Thanks for keeping us all entertained. 😉
Come on Ike needs to have his live feeds back iv been watching all the old videos on his channel and there awesome.... huge thumbs up guys great job cant wait to see this thing ripping,,
This build would make a sweet rat rod. use a wheel barrow tub for the cab like a t-bucket roadster. Old twentys ford front grill. Wide tires in the back.
"So we don't hurt ourselves"; truer words never spoken. Looking back, this was one of my favorite, not because Ike got thrown off from a roll over, but because it's a converted lawnmower turned into a rocket.
Its Adam from the 2016 GoPro Motor Plex meet. Been away from this channel for a while. When I found this video I was like "Oh no they didn't" lol. I love this! Got to watch your channel more again, I must have missed a lot of neat stuff.
Hey man! Glad you made it back! You should watch our "drag rail crash & 3 engine go kart" video we posted recently, it's from a meet we had at a huge ATV park in NC. You should come to our next one!
Loving this 1!!! : ) Loving that you guys are doing new projects, but are still working on the same kinds of projects as well, & also revisiting old greats with your newly, more refined skills that you are acquiring each and every day. Doing some great things! ( John ) Kills me every time i hear this song Disclosure - You & Me feat. Eliza Doolittle (Flume Remix) come across the Pandora. I think about cruising in your Miata, and i have never even met ya. Lol! That was a cool episode... Stuck in my head ever since...
I built a single cylinder Kohler command back in the late 90s with a custom flat top JE piston, custom crane cam, Chevrolet solid lifters, modified Chevy roller rockers, extensive port work, dual springs and titanium valves with a 36mm mikuni. Ran it through a peerless 5 speed tranny on a custom framed Murray lawnmower. 0-50 in 4.13 seconds with 110 octane. Never new the horsepower on it tho, but it hauled ass.
I love the look of the 670 and those front tires, makes it look like a mini pulling tractor, I want to see footage of you guys pulling at the county fair, LOL
*CarsandCameras* Video Idea: * Get an old jet ski or waverunner motor/pump assembly on the cheap and do what my buddy did: Get an old aluminum fishing boat, modify the back by cutting it and using wood and sheet metal to create the ductwork and mounts-fairly easy, I am sure there are many how to videos on the UA-cam by now. He also put a handlebars in the front running cables for steering, and a stereo with subs that doubled as a seat mount up front. He was offered 4 grand for it, twice! Overall It costed him less than $400 to make it. And as a bonus, if you have the waverunner body still you can put a motorcycle inside for a hybrid vehicle like that viral video.... Thanks for all the great content, this project has my interest.
Nice build guys. Can't wait to see it move and hear it go "VROOOM"!! I think I would have added front frame length to make it kind of a funny mower, or a Rat Rod. Also, more space for whatever you have to do to connect it to whatever you choose for a rear end. But I'm sure it'll be fine... lol!!
Lots of real estate available on that frame... design a roll cage, use slicks, maybe make sure the wheel bearings can take the load, take it to the drag strip?
The 670 is definitely the way to go all the way! My only other recommendation would be to make it cut grass. I can mow at 10 miles per hour I think you might be able to top that.
This project is amazing! I'd love to see them try their hand and fabing up an a-arm based front suspension. Seems this would be a great platform to give it a try on, and would look sick with that v-twin between it.
For the drag rail you guys should take like a 2 ton press and push it back from the middle. Then I would weld some sort of support between there the bend was
Heat the rail frame up with a torch. You would need to do it on the “concave” side of the bend. Once you get the frame rails red hot (support it so it doesn’t sag) quickly cool it down with compressed air till it is cool to the touch, it will make the bow draw out of it. You may have to repeat a few times to get it straight, but it will work, we do it at work with big bore pipe all the time (56” and larger). Obviously afterwards you will have to sand and repaint it.
I know you guys already are building this but I think that motor deserves to be in like a old sears or something with some real style Just my opinion your stuff do with it what you want and I’ll still be happy cause you do this great show for free for everyone
*Josh.* Hear me out man, if the pump is good on that jet ski motor, do what my buddy did: Get an old aluminum fishing boat, modify the back by cutting it and using wood and sheet metal to create the ductwork and mounts-fairly easy, I am sure there are many how to videos on the UA-cam by now. He also put a handlebars in the front running cables for steering, and a stereo with subs that doubled as a seat mount up front. He was offered 4 grand for it, twice! Overall It costed him less than $400 to make it.
Been waiting for a build using a mower transaxle and a 670cc. Was hoping for custom but this will do. I can't wait to see how you connect the drivetrain. Horizontal to vertical is tricky without expensive gearbox angled driveshafts
Just a heads up, with any kind of plasma torch you should be running a water separator in line from the air compressor.. and make sure you have at least 5 feet of hose prior to and after it just to make sure that it is cooled down and dry. You can pick one up at any hardware place or harbor freight.
I'm in the collision industry and if it is mild steel it is gonna be fine as Ike would say, you could have it straightened on a frame machine if it wont track straight.
Briggs & Stratton Power - That transaxle would never hold up to the HP and torque the 670 produces. They need an old Harley 4 speed transmission and drive it with the 670 to a live axle. Then use a dry clutch so no lube is needed. That would make it really interesting. Seriously the need to think about stiffing the mower frame or maybe just replace it with custom tube frame designed to look like the mower.
Second only to Roadkill... they take something dead, make it work and then leave it to finish rotting on a California wine farm, robbing it of parts until it doesn't. I guess the outcome is all the same regardless.
When you ready to ride it remember this .... Pain is temporary, glory is forever
Worried about a 1/16” bend in the dragster frame for safety reasons... let’s put the 50hp engine and put it on a top heavy lawn mower hahaha
its not top heavy, unless Ike is on it!! LOL.. Besides, it would be a LOT more fun as a wheelie machine instead of a racing lawn mower.
Now if they could slap a deck on it and mow the yard at 20-30 mph and get a good cut pattern, THAT would be an episode that would make history.

Jerry Wooton thats what I said make the mower actually handle with that quad stuff and make the rail actually fast with the duke lump
Papa Cold-hoppa That's my kind of humor too👍🏻
Jerry Wooton Aw
I was a frame mechanic for years. Brace opposite frame with angle iron. use porta power or ratchet straps for pressure. over straiten for spring back. now cross brace and gusset as needed. Wish I would be around in the future when you guys enter the circuit. peace
Wow 504k subs now. I remember when you were under 100k... who knew small engine projects were getting so popular? I think we're seeing the revival of the minibike and gokart scene!
Dead Baron me too man I remember when they had 60k
lets hope the small engine scene will be back
i would hope so they inspired me to get a gokart
Now there at 1.4mill 😎
670 with 50hp!!! Now that’s what I am talking about. Looks great guys. Awesome vid!!
That thing is gonna move. Can't wait to see it finished
that engine looks sick on that frame
Call it the grasser gasser. I love that this is back
So excited for this build! The first video I ever saw of you all was when you were building the mower. It inspired me to build a mower I got for free very similarly. Now you got me thinking 670! Hmm.....
That mower is SO unworthy of that engine but it really looks good on it!!! I'll be laughing all day over this!
Ralph my thoughts. The engine needs to be on the ratrod wagon
I agree but I'm just as curious to see the outcome of this project. It might turn out better than the rat, who knows!
Ralph I'm happy to see the mower get it the mower been around the same time as the Rat Rod wagon it's cool to see it get one more shot I'm very interested what's going to turn out on it :)
Me too, its all for fun, right?
You are unworthy of the that mower>:/
I think the 670 looks spot on!! 👌🏽 Can’t wait to see it in action. Glad you found the hood cause I really don’t think it looks like a lawnmower without it. Thanks for keeping us all entertained. 😉
The innovation and outrageous FUN you guys do is nothing less than AWESOME!!
This is the most excited ive been for a build in a while
Come on Ike needs to have his live feeds back iv been watching all the old videos on his channel and there awesome.... huge thumbs up guys great job cant wait to see this thing ripping,,
Josh. Yeah I wanna see more chevelle
PLZZZZ UPLOAD MORE THAN TWICE A WEEK, Your killing meh your vids are so entertaining and informative.
Lawn mower has always been my favorite build!!!
This build would make a sweet rat rod. use a wheel barrow tub for the cab like a t-bucket roadster. Old twentys ford front grill. Wide tires in the back.
Seriously who could dislike these guys ..,
I cannot believe I've been following yall since before the drift mower
Sweet. Im waiting for the wheelies to start. Lets go!!
So many 670 builds its amazing 😮
"So we don't hurt ourselves"; truer words never spoken. Looking back, this was one of my favorite, not because Ike got thrown off from a roll over, but because it's a converted lawnmower turned into a rocket.

Really have been looking forward to the lawn mower build! Can't wait to see the hood chopped with that intake stick'n out the top!
I'm so excited!
I want to start my own lawn mower build.
Cant wait for the next video guys
Can’t wait to watch the next video guys. Keep up the good work
YESSS, I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU GUYS TO BRING THIS BABY BACK
Loving this 1!!!
That look's sweet! Just make sure you weld a good thick plate to bolt engine to cause them craftsman frames break right above where the axle is.
probably the best project so far
Holy cow!! You can do anything on that!
Railmower love it guys
Thank you! 670 is the only motor to play with on that mower. Go BIG or go home! ☺☺
Cars and cameras best channel ever
Thanks
I'm looking forward to you guys finishing this death trap. Awesome!
Y'all are some bad ass dudes!! Love y'alls work
This lawnmower has had a colorful life
I built a single cylinder Kohler command back in the late 90s with a custom flat top JE piston, custom crane cam, Chevrolet solid lifters, modified Chevy roller rockers, extensive port work, dual springs and titanium valves with a 36mm mikuni. Ran it through a peerless 5 speed tranny on a custom framed Murray lawnmower. 0-50 in 4.13 seconds with 110 octane. Never new the horsepower on it tho, but it hauled ass.
I think you got the beginnings of a good pulling tractor .
That into was perfect nice work John👌 looking forward to this build
I love that your working in the mower again
I love the look of the 670 and those front tires, makes it look like a mini pulling tractor, I want to see footage of you guys pulling at the county fair, LOL
YES. THIS IS WHAT WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR.
Awesome job guys! Keep up the good work!! 😁
waited all day to watch this. was not disappointed.

Dang that’s gonna be awesome can’t wait to see the next part of the build
Nice build guys. Can't wait to see it move and hear it go "VROOOM"!! I think I would have added front frame length to make it kind of a funny mower, or a Rat Rod. Also, more space for whatever you have to do to connect it to whatever you choose for a rear end. But I'm sure it'll be fine... lol!!
I freaking love your videos! You guys have come a long way in videos and building.
Lots of real estate available on that frame... design a roll cage, use slicks, maybe make sure the wheel bearings can take the load, take it to the drag strip?
Dead Baron, that's what I'm talkin' 'bout!
AWESOME VIDEO! Next project you guys ought to build a predator 79cc motorized bike!
Oh man that's going to be a wild ride. One I'd like to take for sure!!!
I love the show you guys do I really like to see a race seat on the mower!
I knew it would go this way good choice guys can wait to see the power wheelies
Looks awsome ya'll should paint it the same as the rail
The 670 is definitely the way to go all the way!
My only other recommendation would be to make it cut grass. I can mow at 10 miles per hour I think you might be able to top that.
That looks bad ass u all should keep it that way
I can't wait to see it finished up!
I love this😫😫. Can't wait to this going. Interested to see the steering get done
Hell yes! Love it. Can't wait to see more.
This project is amazing! I'd love to see them try their hand and fabing up an a-arm based front suspension. Seems this would be a great platform to give it a try on, and would look sick with that v-twin between it.
Hell yeah! Me and my buddy wanted to do something like this! Digging the content!
Bro this is awesome I've been waiting for this the longest time I like y'all's lawn mower
Can’t wait to see it complete
This is what gets me up in the mornings. Love you guys to death! Keep it up!👍👍👍
Awesome.. great choice of engine. Please fit a gearbox and clutch
You guys are great I actually learn stuff on watching you guys work. The stuff that you guys show is the kinda stuff I need to see so thx on that lol
For the drag rail you guys should take like a 2 ton press and push it back from the middle. Then I would weld some sort of support between there the bend was
I smashed the thumbs up button, now I need a new screen on my phone
Logan Hinc 😂😂😂
Awe , I REALLY like all your projects💪💪💪you guy's are the best
Nice job guys. Now you'll get the yard mowed in half the time lol
Heat the rail frame up with a torch. You would need to do it on the “concave” side of the bend. Just my opinion your stuff do with it what you want and I’ll still be happy cause you do this great show for free for everyone
I think it's time the rail gets the Ducatti engine
I now have an idea to us my extra Yamaha 650 two stroke from an old jetski awesome..
I would like to see this I heard its difficult to do anything with jet ski engines but possible
Prolific Invention fuck yes
OMG YES YOU FINNALY DID IT!
i literaly dreamed about having the 670 on the mower!
that cliffhanger in the intro tho!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s a thing of beauty
Dude that thing is sick
Been waiting for a build using a mower transaxle and a 670cc. Was hoping for custom but this will do. I can't wait to see how you connect the drivetrain. Horizontal to vertical is tricky without expensive gearbox angled driveshafts
That's gonna b bad ass!! Be safe and burn the wheels off lol
i love the content!! so glad i found these guys!
Thank you guys so much this is awesome!!!
This is going to be epic. I loved it the first time it was done and now a 670. 😵👍
Absolutely insane.... love it 😊

Love you guys
Come on dont take the transaxle out. Thats all the fun on the mower
Briggs & Stratton Power agreed it needs gears to bang
If they do take if off they should at least use it for a shifter cart
Briggs & Stratton Power - That transaxle would never hold up to the HP and torque the 670 produces. They need an old Harley 4 speed transmission and drive it with the 670 to a live axle. Then use a dry clutch so no lube is needed.

W Hoggdoc I have a Kawasaki 730 v twin on mine and it holds just fine it can reach 87mph
Great job guys i thought tractor build was cool ass hell.keep the builds coming guys .stay safe
Jeezles H! Built 670 on the mower? Holy cow!
Well worth the wait thanks for the video
Tim the Toolman Taylor would be proud of y'all!
I’m so happy because I’m still building my custom lawn mowe
Love the build, Really love the new camera. Dont weld while tapeing hurts my eyes to look at it.
CarsandCameras, the kings of taking something that works perfectly and modifying it until it doesn't.
This was far from working perfectly- sketchy steering, terrible brakes, unreliable drivetrain. "Working perfectly" is just not accurate.
Works prfectly meens that you never have to redoing it. Till then your always going to be adjusting things.
Second only to Roadkill... they take something dead, make it work and then leave it to finish rotting on a California wine farm, robbing it of parts until it doesn't. I guess the outcome is all the same regardless.
Gonna need a roll bar type hoop to protect your dome ...
love the video, keep up the great work
