I have known MANY women like this. The trick to dealing with them is to not get drawn into their manipulations. Ignore them. There is NOTHING that is more infuriating and disarming to a manipulator than ignoring them and refusing to participate in their drama. I have known MANY women like this. The trick to dealing with them is to not get drawn into their manipulations. Ignore them. There is NOTHING that is more infuriating and disarming to a manipulator than ignoring them and refusing to participate in their drama. Unfortunately, my mother in law is a master manipulator to her family, so I have to hear about it, but I refuse to participate. This really drives her crazy, but it allows me to somewhat shield my wife from her mother's bullshit.

Ya know, it’s funny. 3 or 4 years or so ago when I started watching tigerbelly, I always thought Bobby was insanely lucky to have pulled Khalyla, but as I’ve watched over the years I have realized that it’s probably the other way around, but she uses manipulation and his insecurities to make her self invaluable to him by playing on his emotions. She is a really conniving person and constantly seeking attention when your whole shtick is being Bobby’s S/O is ridiculous, you are famous bc of Bobby, but you have convinced yourself that you are above reproach. These last few months since his relapse have done a lot to show me what the dynamic really is and how unhealthy it is for Uncle Bobby, he deserves much better than that.
While i understand the sentiment Thomas, and trust me i have very similar suspicions to yours, its good to remind ourselves that Bobby is a grown ass man. If Kholoko is a conniving bitch, he is the one that put her in his home and his heart. By attacking her and blaming her for all of bobby's woes, we are removing agency from Bobby. We are treating him as a child, and he isnt. If our suspicions are true, and Khalyla is indeed a manipulative person, Bobby has probably realizes that years ago and yet accepted her into his life... Unless there is abuse, which is unacceptable, i dont think its productive to simply blame Khalyla for their relationship and remove Bobby from the picture all together.
